The main object in this study was to investigate the vibrations observed from resistance of the v... more The main object in this study was to investigate the vibrations observed from resistance of the vehicle, especially due to a rough surface. The performed work is a theoretical analysis and idealized computer stimulation of the physical event. In this study, native production truck has been used as an example which is assumed to be loadless and at a constant speed passing over an impediment. Deplacement of the driver seat has been calculated for three different types of road impediments and the vibration conductivity curve drawn. Hence natural frequency has been obtained and then driver seat damping rate has been calculated for this vehicle and suggestions for the improvement have been also made.
