The aim of this study was to examine the regional disparities in health care facilities across the Markazi province. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. Study sample included the cities of Markazi province, ranked based on 15 health indices. Data was collected by a data collection form made by the researcher using statistical yearbook. The indices were weighted using Shannon entropy. Finally, technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) was used to rank the towns of the province in terms of access to health care facilities. Results: There is a large gap between cities of Markazi province in terms of access to health care facilities. Shannon entropy introduced the number of urban health centers per 1000 people as the most important indicator and the number of rural active health house per 1000 people as the less important indicator. According to TOPSIS, the towns of Ashtian and Shazand ranked the first and last (10 th) respectively in access to health services. Conclusion: There are significant inequalities in distribution of health care facilities in Markazi province. We propose that policy makers determine resource allocation priorities according to the degree of development for a balanced and equal distribution of health care facilities.

Virtual Network Embedding (VNE), which provides methods to assign multiple Virtual Networks (VN) ... more Virtual Network Embedding (VNE), which provides methods to assign multiple Virtual Networks (VN) to a single physical Substrate Network (SN), is an important task in network virtualization. The main problem in VNE is the efficiency of assigning customers' virtual network requests to the substrate network. This problem is known to be a Non-deterministic Polynomial-time hard (NP-hard) and heuristic solutions have been developed to solve this kind of problem. The current trend toward Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has allowed new possibilities in virtual network embedding. In this work, we propose a distributed virtual network embedding for SDNs called DVSDNE using multi-agent systems. This framework could be used to run a centralized VNE algorithm in a distributed manner to scale these algorithms with respect to network size. DVSDNE uses agents to spread the load across the substrate network. Our simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Results show that DVSDNE improves execution time of embedding algorithms in large scale substrate networks, while embedding results such as acceptance ratio, revenue to cost ratio, average latency to controller, and maximum latency to controller remain comparable. The proposed hybrid motor benefits fromthe advantages of both the conventional axial and radial flux hysteresis motors with a unique stator. For the design of the proposed machine, a pre-studied hybrid hysteresis motor is investigated. To modify the field equations, the hyperbolic approximation of the hysteresis loop is implemented to investigate the effects of the minor loops described by the harmonic components of the field. Next, the impact of the harmonics of the magnetomotive force on machine performance is estimated by an iterative approach. Then, the closed-form expressions for the developed torque are obtained in both planes and the results are stacked-up linearly by considering the basics of the superposition theorem. To evaluate the performance of the proposed machine and also the accuracy of the analysis approach, a laboratory prototype has been built. The test results validate the acceptable performance of the proposed hysteresis motor. High magnetizing current and low efficiency and power factor are the major drawbacks of the conventional HMs. On the other hand, the PM motors are widely used because of high efficiency, high power factor and relatively high stability at synchronous speed. However, PM motors suffer from having no starting torque and generating considerable oscillating torque. This paper presents a novel Multi-Stack PM-Hysteresis Motor in order to improve the performance characteristics of the conventional HM. In the optimal design procedure, the electrical equivalent circuits (EECs) are used for evaluating the operating parameters. A multi-objective optimization using Imperialist Competitive Algorithm as the solver is established for improving the efficiency and power factor of the machine as well as reducing the rotational inertia, overall volume and speed oscillations, simultaneously. The feasibility of the designed machine is guaranteed by considering the electrical, mechanical, magnetic and the thermal constraints. Finally, the appropriate performance of the optimized structure is validated using 2D time-stepping finite element analysis.

On March 25, 2019 in Shiraz-Iran, following a heavy rainfall, the occurrence of a flash flood caused an extensive number of deaths, injuries, and vehicle demolitions in a short time. Evidence suggests that man-made causes of the incident, including unsustainable urban development and lack of early warning services, have played a more influential role compared with its natural causes. This study has attempted to substantiate that understanding disaster risks, as the first priority of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) 2015-2030, directly impacts the decisions and actions of policymakers, local authorities, and the public. To provide more safety, mitigation, and disaster risk reduction, attention should primarily be paid on making a cultural paradigm shift through providing sufficient training in developing appropriate disaster risk perception in the community at large.

The aim of this study was to estimate the amount volume of produced gasses in the landfill located at city of Jahrom. Materials and methods: To conduct this research, the primary data including waste composition, waste density, waste production capitation, the weight of the annual produced waste were collected using experimentations and calculations. These data were then used in LandGEM for the purpose of landfill gases volume estimation. The Screen view was then used for modeling of pollutants dispersion into atmosphere in 15 km radius around the landfill. Results: Studies suggest that the waste generation in city of Jahrom is 313.35 g/person.d. The climax of carbon dioxide and methane production in this landfill in 2028 was equal to 10570000 m 3 /year. Estimation shows that by recycling the obtained methane in this landfill, it is possible to generate 8375 MW of energy by 2016. It is also indicated that the concentration of produced pollutants in the landfill is calculable in 15 km radius. Conclusions: The obtained results from this study could be used to determine the role of Iran in global emission of greenhouse gasses and be considered for the Iranian energy production planning's.

Simple and robust structure, self-starting and smooth operation with low noise and vibration are ... more Simple and robust structure, self-starting and smooth operation with low noise and vibration are the most attractive advantages of the Hysteresis Motor (HM) which makes it suitable for high speed constant torque applications.

This study has conducted about the relationship between organizational learning and staff empowerment. This correlational study was conducted among the staff of a Children's Hospital affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2012. Numbers of 145 staff in this hospital has selected and enrolled by simple random sampling. The data collection tools were tow questionnaires for organizational learning and staff empowerment which approved their validities and reliabilities. Finally, collected data were analyzed by Spearman correlation test. Among the dimensions of organizational learning, knowledge transfer and integration with 3.47 and system perspective with 3.16 obtained highest and lowest scores respectively. Generally, overall rating of organizational learning and the staff empowerment variables were determined 3.25±0.71 and 3.74±0.59 respectively. Between the four dimensions of organizational learning (managerial commitment, system perspective, openness and experimentation, knowledge transfer and integration) and staff empowerment, was observed a significant correlation. According to the findings, the current situation of organizational learning and staff empowerment in studied hospital is relatively acceptable. It recommended that hospital systems can improve staff empowerment by developing organizational learning environment, creating experience and knowledge exchange platforms, using material incentives and specially focusing on the intrinsic motivation.
