Sand production with reservoir fluid is a well known problem in many parts of the world. Sand pro... more Sand production with reservoir fluid is a well known problem in many parts of the world. Sand production in a well causes restricted production or complete loss of production due to sanding of well bore. There are several methods of sand control but most of the technologies require heavy hardware and tools thus making the cost of new well very high. Chemical sand consolidation can be an alternative to traditional techniques for poorly consolidated formations. The present studies are carried out to develop a suitable sand control technique for weakly consolidated oil/gas reservoirs using indigenously developed chemicals. The concept is based on the fact that water soluble polymers/chemicals have a strong tendency to adsorb on the surface of rock, thus binding the loose sand. However, the permeability of the formation is maintained by injecting oil soon after injection of chemicals. In this study, the main objective is to examine the direct and indirect impact of empowering leadership through the mediating effect of creative self-efficacy on the organizational innovation within police sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The questionnaire was utilized in this study to collect data from the population of police sector in the UAE by using probability random sampling. Structural Equation Modeling-Variance Based (SEM-VB) was utilized to examine the research model in this research, by using the Smart PLS 3.0 software. The result from the analysis shed lights on the impact of empowering leadership on organizational innovation. Moreover, the impact of creative self-efficacy on the organizational innovation. Empowering leadership had a positive direct effect on the OI within the police sector in the UAE. Moreover, creative self-efficacy mediates the relation between empowering leadership and the innovation of organization. The results of the current study have the potential to give further insights into the innovation of organizations strategies.

The data was collected from 539 employees of State owned enterprises (SoE) of Abu Dhabi and analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) via SmartPLS 3.0. There were two main results: first, project management assets (value and imitability) have a positive impact on employee performance (quality); second, organizational culture (individualism) has a negative impact on employee performance (quality). Theoretical and practical implications are also provided.

The business of the world come closer to the international market by globalising their products and services in the international market which also impacts the performance of the business. In this research, the impact of globalisation on business performance is analysed by using the UAE food sector. The primary and secondary sources of information are used, and the data is analysed using the quantitative research designs. The descriptive and frequency analysis is used for analysing the data collected through the primary research using the sample size of 220. Correlation and regression analysis is also used in this research for finding the relationship and the intensity of the relationship between globalisation and business performance.

This study utilizes structural equation modelling using SmartPLS 3.0 to process the data collecte... more This study utilizes structural equation modelling using SmartPLS 3.0 to process the data collected from 401 responses to assess the moderation effect of innovativeness on the relationship between the overall quality and actual usage of smart government in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from employees perspective. A model is proposed based on Delone & Mclean information system success model with considering the literature and the context of the study. Overall quality is proposed to be a second-order construct which includes three different aspects of quality; system quality, information quality, and service quality. In addition, innovativeness is proposed as a moderating variable which may control the relationship between the overall quality and actual usage of smart government. Results indicated that overall quality significantly influences the actual usage of smart government. The overall quality explains 44.7% of the variance in actual usage. Furthermore, the impact of the overall quality on the actual use is moderated by the innovativeness. This work enhances the insight into the significance of innovativeness in using smart government services.

The development of m-banking is due to the advantages of conducting banking transactions. However, when individuals decide to use m-banking, they will also consider the system’s weaknesses. Therefore, this study examines TAM in increasing m-banking adoption through transaction convenience and perceived risk. This study proposes a conceptual framework by exploring the factors of ease and benefit of a system. If the individual feels the comfort and benefits of a system, the individual will feel the transactions convenient and be interested in adopting m-banking. The adoption process is supported by the guarantee of bank security against financial transactions accessed through m-banking. This study contributes to developing the technology acceptance model with transaction convenience and perceived risk to increase intention and actual usage of m-banking.

In this research, the impact of globalisation on business performance is analysed by using the UAE food sector. The primary and secondary sources of information are used, and the data is analysed using the quantitative research designs. The descriptive and frequency analysis is used for analysing the data collected through the primary research using the sample size of 220. Correlation and regression analysis is also used in this research for finding the relationship and the intensity of the relationship between globalisation and business performance.

This study utilizes structural equation modelling using SmartPLS 3.0 to process the data collecte... more This study utilizes structural equation modelling using SmartPLS 3.0 to process the data collected from 401 responses to assess the moderation effect of innovativeness on the relationship between the overall quality and actual usage of smart government in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from employees perspective. A model is proposed based on Delone & Mclean information system success model with considering the literature and the context of the study. Overall quality is proposed to be a second-order construct which includes three different aspects of quality; system quality, information quality, and service quality. In addition, innovativeness is proposed as a moderating variable which may control the relationship between the overall quality and actual usage of smart government. Results indicated that overall quality significantly influences the actual usage of smart government. The overall quality explains 44.7% of the variance in actual usage. Furthermore, the impact of the overall quality on the actual use is moderated by the innovativeness. This work enhances the insight into the significance of innovativeness in using smart government services.

The development of m-banking is due to the advantages of conducting banking transactions. However, when individuals decide to use m-banking, they will also consider the system’s weaknesses. Therefore, this study examines TAM in increasing m-banking adoption through transaction convenience and perceived risk. This study proposes a conceptual framework by exploring the factors of ease and benefit of a system. If the individual feels the comfort and benefits of a system, the individual will feel the transactions convenient and be interested in adopting m-banking. The adoption process is supported by the guarantee of bank security against financial transactions accessed through m-banking. This study contributes to developing the technology acceptance model with transaction convenience and perceived risk to increase intention and actual usage of m-banking.
