The Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has rivers that cross rural and urban areas that are still... more The Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has rivers that cross rural and urban areas that are still used by the community and industry. However, cases of river water pollution in DIY are a major issue in 2021. It is very important to classify rivers according to class so that further analysis and action can be carried out. This study conducted a grouping analysis of rivers in DIY based on water quality parameters such as Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Phosphate, Fecal Coli, and Total Coliform. The grouping method uses the K-means algorithm. The data source is secondary data from the DIY Provincial Environment and Forestry Service. The data is in the form of 56 river samples observed in November 2020. The description of the data shows that the average of the 56 river water samples is 24.95 for TSS, 8.84 for DO, 4.33 for BOD5, 20.36 for COD, 0 .54 for Phosphate, 22.820 for Fecal Coli, and 59.210 for Total...
Teknologi komunikasi saat ini sudah sangat maju berkembang dengan adanya konsep intranet, interne... more Teknologi komunikasi saat ini sudah sangat maju berkembang dengan adanya konsep intranet, internet maupun SMS hal ini memungkinkan dilakukan pemantauan secara jarak jauh terhadap perubahan tinggi muka air sebagai gejala bahaya banjir pada suatu area tertentu. Kelebihan dari sistem ini adalah keleluasaan untuk memantau kondisi kerawanan bencana banjir dimanapun dan kapanpun. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah yang muncul dengan merancang sistem pemantauan perubahan tinggi muka air berbasis jaringan komunikasi selular (GSM) sebagai backbone komunikasi paketpaket data dari stasiun pantau yang ada. Dengan memanfaatkan jaringan GSM melalui Base Station Transmitter akan terbangun pemantauan jarak jauh parameter gejala bahaya banjir secara realtime. Earthquakes becoming one of the greatest dangers that threaten people's lives. So it takes the instrument that can record natural anomaly data before the earthquake to be learned. Several previous studies have successfully done, but it requires a high cost. In this work, a natural anomaly before an earthquake is detected by the method of seismic waves and magnetic measurements using a 6-DoF MEMS (micro electro- mechanical systems) sensors. Seismic wave measured with an accelerometer sensor, and geomagnetic-ULF waves measured by the magnetometer sensor. Measurement data is transmitted using a wireless sensor network based on IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee protocol, which is controlled by an 8-bit microcontroller device. All data were collected on a PC master observations in the form of a graph using the graphical user interface (GUI). The system aims to give structural information and trace of air pollution level at particular monitoring station. The particular monitoring location (node) is connected to IoT/M2M server via GSM network using GPRS feature and display on IoT/M2M application in web form. The database on IoT/M2M contains name, description, and location of the monitoring station, Pollution index and the time when the data are taken. On IoT/M2M, the data are displayed either in a color bar graph or a line graph. The color indicated the index value of the pollution. The data can be accessed via internet on isfuonline.info. The system is tested at laboratory environment to detect CO, SO2, NO2, O3, and PM. The test result shows that the system is worked well. Time required to transfer the monitoring data to the IoT server is about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, response time of the system is 30...

This study is an implementation of information technology for education, aimed to produce a model... more This study is an implementation of information technology for education, aimed to produce a model of online lab course with a collaborative environment using a desktop sharing application. In the digital electronics lab course, participants were divided into the groups, each of them consists of three members. A desktop sharing application was used to the digital circuit simulator as an offline program that can be accessed online. The results show that the application can be used to introduce a collaborative environment in an online lab course. The application was possible to make an offline program such of a digital circuit simulator that can be accessed online by each member of the groups. This model has got a positive response from the participants of digital electronics lab course.
