Blockchain is considered to be a key disruptive technology for the 21 st Century, with a very wide array of application domains that impact all areas of our lives. That such a technology exists just as the world is transitioning towards 6G mobile networks that will offer unprecedented levels of performance but will come an attendant set of ethical and other implications, is highly fortuitous. We offer in this paper a proposal to integrate blockchain technology into the anticipated 6G feature set to address the problem of ensuring and automating Trust to a high degree.

This research conducted a recent approach to multitemporal observation and spatial optimization studies by integrating dynamic systems with neural network methods in solving settlement land management problems. The approach with the population growth projection model relates to the spatial dynamics of residential land use using the neural network to facilitate policy makers in decision making for settlement land management. The method used consists of 5 stages: stage I. analysis of land characteristics and land use of multi-temporal settlements, through land surveys, laboratory analysis, and spatial characteristics of land; then the land suitability analysis uses matching method; Phase II: mapping multi-temporal land use in 2010, 2016 and 2017 using analysis and extraction of satellite image information. The image used is Landsat medium resolution satellite imagery; stage III: arranging units and interactions and behaviour between units in a system of population growth dynamics, then making causal loop diagrams and then implementing dynamic software systems to simulate population growth used and residential land needs every five years; stage IV: testing the synchronization of the allocation of space utilization in the Spatial Palnning document of the District with the settlement land resulting from the projection; stage V: build a residential land use projection model which begins with change analysis, transition potential, and change prediction with the neural network method; then the projection result of settlement land needs is mapped every five years interval from 2018-2038 based on the results of the analysis. The implication of the results of the study will provide an overview of the harmony between the pattern of space and the trend of the development direction of the settlement, so that the resulting method can be used as a basis for revising the spatial planning in the future.

This study focuses on the socio-demographic attribute that can influence a person to become a part-time worker. Part-time workers are part of non-full workers, which is considered not a problem. Part-time workers are absorbed in less decent jobs. Young age groups dominate them because they are less experienced in the complexities of job search, less intense in wage negotiations, less financially secure, and more vulnerable to psychological stress. Part-time workers are those who work below standard hours but are not looking for work and are not available for work. This study uses secondary data from the August 2021 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). Samples used in this study were 3,540 part-time workers spread throughout Southeast Sulawesi Province. Two thousand eight hundred six part-time workers are in rural areas, and 734 are in urban areas. In this st...

This study aims to study the existence of paddy fields in Makassar City in 2019 and to review their ecological function in CO2 absorption. Spatial analysis using the GIS method was used to map paddy fields that are still productive in 2019 in Makassar City. Analysis of CO2 uptake from the rice cultivation in this urban paddy fields was carried out using allometric equations. Mapping results show that recently, there are 1,473.58 hectares of paddy fields in Makassar City. These paddy fields are spread across seven districts, namely Tamalate, Rappocini, Tallo, Panakukkang, Manggala, Biringkanaya and Tamalanrea. Makassar City must provide a minimum of 5,273 ha of green open space. The existence of this paddy field contributes about 8.38% of the total minimum required green open space (30%) for Makassar City. It is imminent to assess the maximum numbers of divers that can be accommodated by a diving site before it is subject to irreversible deterioration. This study aimed to assess the ecological carrying capacity of a diving site in Mabul Island, Malaysia. Photo-quadrat line transect method was used in the benthic survey. The ecological carrying capacity was assessed based on the relationship between the number of divers and the proportion of diver damaged hard corals in Mabul Island. The results indicated that the proportion of diver damaged hard corals occurred exponentially with increasing use. The ecological carrying capacity of Mabul Island is 15,600-16,800 divers per diving site per year at current levels of diver education and training with a quarterly threshold of 3900-4200 per site. Our calculation shows that management intervention (e.g. limiting diving) is justified at 8-14% of hard coral damage. In addition, the use of coral reef dominated diving sites should be managed according to their sensitivity to diver damage and the depth of the reefs.

Generally, before any earthquake, there are foreshocks with hidden signatures of velocity and acceleration which consist of very high frequency spikes super imposed over low frequency waves. It has extremely high instantaneous amplitude variations. Thus, the instantaneous velocity and acceleration become high. The existing low resolution accelerometers and seismometers are unable to register the insight of signatures of these sharp spikes of foreshocks.
