Initially, lesions started on the back, hands and gluteal region. They were slowly progressive, persistent and asymptomatic. Patient was unmarried and her only concern was cosmetic appearance, so she underwent excisional biopsy of the lesion from gluteal region in our hospital. Routine haematological investigations and coagulation profile was normal. Grossly, we received yellowish, soft, cheesy mass measuring 1.8 x 1.1 x 1.0 cm. Cut section showed soft, yellowish, cheesy areas. Microscopic study revealed skin showing epidermis and dermis lined by stratified squamous epithelium. Epidermis was thin with no dysplasia. Dermis showed diffuse infiltration of foamy macrophages along with many classical Tuoton type giant cells. Based on these findings and clinical details, diagnosis of tuberous xanthoma was offered. Discussion: Xanthoma is a localised collection of tissue histiocytes containing lipids. It is a pseudotumor which particularly occurs in response to alterations in lipid metabolism. Tuberous xanthomas generally present as discrete painless nodules or large plaque like lesions of the subcutis. In our patient, lipid profile was found to be deranged and cholesterol was on higher side i.e. 380mg/dl. Because of prompt diagnosis, patient was shifted on cholesterol lowering agents to prevent cardiovascular complications. Conclusion: In conclusion, we are presenting a case of Multiple Tuberous Xanthomas in a young female not only for its histopathological diagnosis but also for putting more emphasis on correction of lipid profile through prompt administration of cholesterol lowering agents. This will lower the risk of mortality due to cardiovascular complications.

Among it, cardiac myxoma represents the most common benign cardiac tumor constituting about 80% of cases. We are presenting a 30–year-old female with large left atrial myxoma. She was presented with severe dyspnea, palpitations, and systolic murmurs. On 2D echocardiography, left atrial mass obstructing mitral flow was noted. On cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, a single, large, mobile pedunculated mass lesion in left atrium attached to inferior interatrial septum with heterogeneous enhancement was noted, which was likely represented to be myxoma. The mass was surgically excised and valve repairing was done. We received large, solid, lobulated, gray white, soft-to-firm mass measuring 4.5 × 4.1 × 2.5 cm, and on microscopy showed cardiac myxoma with cartilaginous differentiation. We are presenting this case for its clinical, imaging, and uncommon histological features.

A diffuse, chronic, usually bilateral, noninflammatory, nonneoplastic enlargement of major saliva... more A diffuse, chronic, usually bilateral, noninflammatory, nonneoplastic enlargement of major salivary glands is termed as Sialosis or Sialadenosis. It is an extremely uncommon cause for enlargement of the parotid gland. We hereby present a case of a 45-year-old female patient having a swelling at the left preauricular region. The swelling was gradually increasing in size since 6 months. On clinical examination, the swelling was 3 cm × 3 cm, mobile, and nontender. On ultrasonography, it was suggestive of benign parotid lesion or parotitis with cervical lymphadenopathy. On fine needle aspiration cytology, it was suggestive of sialadenosis. This is an extremely rare salivary gland lesion with specific cellular features. It is very important to distinguish sialadenosis from other causes of enlargement of the parotid gland as treatment modality differs.

Screening for (MN) in cells has been one among the tests used in cancer screening. Several containing cells rises in carcinogen- exposed tissues much earlier than the symptoms. Here in this study usefulness of (MN) in screening cervical lesions was evaluated. We studied comparison of MN score among different cervical lesions and the significance of the difference in the score. We evaluated 406 cervical smears, categorized them using the “Bethesda 2014 system". Mean MN scores among the different cervical lesion categories were compared, and the differences were studied statistically for its significance. Results showed a gradual increase in mean MN score with increasing severity of the cervical lesion and the differences in these scores were statistically significant (P < 0.05) among all the categories, with significantly higher mean MN scores in high grade squamous woun...
