Ostracism in the workplace has emerged as the burning issue for organizations, that grabbed the a... more Ostracism in the workplace has emerged as the burning issue for organizations, that grabbed the attention of researchers, practitioners and academicians to help corporate world. Thus, every organization is wandering the result-oriented solution to this issue to get employees satisfied and motivated. The research used ostracism as an independent, emotionally intelligence is mediator and counterproductive work behavior, aggressive behavior and workplace deviance as dependent variables. The research is significant for organizations, practitioners, and theory and policy makers. Quantitative research approach is used in this research. A Likert scale close ended questionnaire is used to collect respondents, response. Data is collected from the banking sector. The study has incorporated 300 respondents to collect data. This book is a humble contribution of the authors for the banking community and students of banki... more This book is a humble contribution of the authors for the banking community and students of banking and finance, computer and IT projects for their initial understanding of the automation processes and systems of banks in Pakistan and similar developing countries. The manuscript starts with an introduction of different products and services being offered by banks, now called e-banking, electronic bank or Internet banking. It proceeds to highlight the need for automation of manual operation to the computerized systems. The major parts of the study comprises of the systems analysis, system design, system evaluation and development. The study has been based to develop an automated bank system, taking MCB (Muslim Commercial Bank of Pakistan) as a case. The study is first of its kind an effort to present a complete set of procedures and protocols for development of an automation project for banks and similar financial institutions, feasible for developing countries, like Pakistan

The goal of this study is to determine incubation services contribution to the development of an ... more The goal of this study is to determine incubation services contribution to the development of an entrepreneurial mindset adding up human capital as a mediator. This quantitative study used survey data collection as a cross-sectional data collection method. The survey completed by incubators at the incubator center. The theory of the entrepreneurial mindset serves as the basis for the research framework, and smart PLS is used for the empirical study. First, the algorithm model was run to verify internal consistency. Next, a bootstrapping structural model was performed to examine the relationship between the hypotheses. Human capital mediates the indirect association between services of business incubation and entrepreneurial mentality, while services of business incubation are positively associated to entrepreneurial mindset in a direct relationship.

Study Objectives: The scope of entrepreneurship education is increasing round the globe but in Pa... more Study Objectives: The scope of entrepreneurship education is increasing round the globe but in Pakistan, entrepreneurship education is being neglected because of unawareness of its paybacks. Realizing the significance of entrepreneurship education, this research aims at investigating the scope of entrepreneurial education in developing and designing creative ideas and implementing them innovatively. This research focuses on the impact of entrepreneurship education on intention and desire for venture creation among university students of Pakistan. The study describes the main effects found in the literature by explaining that how this education can contribute to develop, design new ideas and finally to implement them.Research Design/Methodology: This study uses positivism paradigm. A survey was conducted from 160 respondents from private and public sector educational institutes by using close ended questionnaires. For explanation, this study used a five point Likert scale questionnaire. The students, who have taken entrepreneurship education and who have not, were the respondent's category to explain the results. Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) software was used to analyze the results. Results and analyses were derived by independent sample t-tests with the help of SPSS software to measure the significance and difference of two groups. Research Limitations: This study is focused only on the students studying in Lahore and Faisalabad with the sample size of 160 participants. The sample size is narrow which can hinder the generalization of results of study. The financial implication of new venture creation is missing which may change the effect of the study. Further studies can accommodate these limitations for more effective results. Practical Implications: The study proposes that education has strong impact on venture creation. The candidates, who hold an entrepreneurship degree, grow exponentially by exploiting opportunity, situation and ability (O-S-A). Knowledge of venture creation and confidence to venture has more impact on the establishment and growth of the venture.Originality/Value: Literature recognizes that entrepreneurship education and research on its importance is minute. So, this study will suggest avant-garde techniques for graduates to start new ventures. The results of this study will help graduates to make the economy stronger and independent by adopting new businesses. This study will open gate for new researchers to invent more creative techniques.

The aim of study of this is to examine the Intellectual Performance (IC) of 12 Modaraba companies... more The aim of study of this is to examine the Intellectual Performance (IC) of 12 Modaraba companies and its impact on corporate performance. This study examines the performance of three main components of VAIC™ i.e. Human Capital Efficiency (HCE), Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE) and Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) and its impact on corporate performance by employing the predictive analysis. The empirical results reveal that one of the important components to strengthen the IC performance is Human Capital Efficiency (HCE) which means investing more to boost the employees productive would increase the human efficiency of employees. The results show that HCE has significant relation at (P>0.1) with financial performance (ROE and EPS), SCE at (P >0.1) and (P>0.05) with financial performance (ROE) and (EPS) respectively. Whereas CEE has substantive effect with ROE and ROI at (P>0.05) and with (EPS) at (P>0.1) respectively.
