The distance from a point to k−plane is obtained by the orthogonal projection. It is also given the perpendicular foots from a point to k−plane of hyperbolic and spherical n−space.

The Gram and edge matrices, and polar simplex of n-simplex in H n or S n are used to prove the theorems and their results.

Hybridization is particularly suitable for ships operating on cycles with large power variations and requiring a high degree of maneuverability. The modeling and simulation of such systems is essential in their design, analysis, and power management, especially with the mass and volume constraints of small vessels. In this context, this paper presents a modeling approach of a series hybrid ship propulsion using Matlab / Simulink. This modeling tool associates models of the energy conversion components and hydrodynamics models related to ship hull and propeller. This tool allows evaluating efficiently the performances of such systems.

NAOJ collaborated in the receiver optics design and simulations. After some initial evaluation of the performance of new MMIC LNAs, it has been decided to extend the frequency coverage to 95 GHz to cover some additional science cases. In this paper, we describe the design of a new corrugated horn and dielectric lens to extend the receiver optics bandwidth up to 95 GHz. A new design target has been to ease fabrication. The new receiver optics has a fractional bandwidth of 35% and is fully compliant with ALMA specifications.

Then, we investigate extrinsic differential geometry of invariant surfaces under subgroups ofG0inH3. Also, we give explicit parametrization of these invariant surfaces with respect to constant hyperbolic curvature of profile curves. Finally, we obtain some corollaries for flat and minimal invariant surfaces which are associated with de Sitter and hyperbolic shape operator inH3.

Dedicata64 (1997), 277–282) and a new method, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for given (n(n+1)) /2 positive real numbers to be the edge lengths of a hyperbolic n-simplex. By using determinants, we also give necessary and sufficient conditions for given (n(n+1)) /2 positive real numbers to be the edge lengths of a spherical n-simplex.
