The Industrial Administration Undergraduate Game, JOGAI, is used in the subject called Business S... more The Industrial Administration Undergraduate Game, JOGAI, is used in the subject called Business Simulation (SimulaA§A£o Empresarial) of Industrial Administration undergraduate course of CEFET-RJ. It is a playful and inter-active game that involves several variables from its conception to the classroom applications. No one plays any roles and the negotiations are as close to real life as possible, determined solely by the parties involved. JOGAI simulates a supply-customer chain involving gems, precious metals, and jewelry. The whole market participates in the assessment of companies â€“ suppliers, customers, audit committee, and game simulator, according to previously defined criteria.

The authors describe the Emerging Ethical Leaders program at the University of Pittsburgh’s David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership, which provides sophomore and junior business students an early exposure internship opportunity. This early exposure internship pairs business students with local businesses and organizations that have established partnerships with the University of Pittsburgh and David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership. The internship opportunities often involve non-profits and small businesses, allowing business students the opportunity to apply their business acumen to organizations that may not have the staff or the time to complete certain business-focused projects. Devo, enfim, confessar minha alegria, quando olho para trás e vejo num ponto, já distante em quase 50 anos, o jovem mas promissor Centro de Seleção de Candidatos ao Ensino Superior do Grande Rio dando os primeiros passos, contribuindo com a consolidação de todos esses números aqui apresentados. Creio que experimentamos a sensação do dever cumprido (mas também cumprindo-se), do mesmo modo como experimentamos a percepção de ter pavimentado a estrada de tantos profissionais do Direito deste país.

This paper presents the Game of Social Entrepreneurship, which is used in the training of entrepr... more This paper presents the Game of Social Entrepreneurship, which is used in the training of entrepreneurs in Brazilian needy communities. The methodology adopted follows the approach of learning through a process in which students act as the main actors of learning. The final result is not the most important one, but the exercise of planning and decision making, which allows participants to learn through a sequential process of decisions and feedback. At the end of the game participants should re-evaluate all decisions and try to tell poor decisions apart of right decisions. The social entrepreneur is an agent of process transformation in the social sector where the main result of this process is neither a commodity nor a service (as in business) or a regulation (as in government), but a human being transformed. Resumo Este artigo descreve um jogo de negócios aplicado em cursos do tipo Master of Business Adm... more Resumo Este artigo descreve um jogo de negócios aplicado em cursos do tipo Master of Business Administration (MBA) como uma das últimas disciplinas do currículo e analisa os resultados de sua implementação em 47 turmas, envolvendo 1.410 alunos. O jogo de negócios tem por objetivo integrar as habilidades e competências desenvolvidas ao longo do curso e considera um sistema de avaliação com 39 quesitos baseado em um modelo de excelência que abrange todos os aspectos importantes no processo de gestão. Somente 6 quesitos de avaliação são financeiros e os outros 33 são avaliados pelos próprios alunos, em uma avaliação por pares, e dizem respeito à relação cliente-fornecedor e à gestão de cada empresa. The paper describes the use of an undergraduate Administration course game in Brazil. It simulate... more The paper describes the use of an undergraduate Administration course game in Brazil. It simulates a customer-supplier chain composed of mining companies, goldsmiths, jewelry stores and an exporter. The game environment is controlled by the Government and all actions are evaluated by an Audit Committee (39 items based on an Excellence Model). The result of a Factor Analysis shows that some factors are not determinant for the final outcome of the round, Other factors present values much closer to the mean for winners than for the other, but there were factors which seem to be determinant for winning the game.

Flowers provide one of the most spectacular variations in terms of color semiotics, with an almost infinite range of tones ranging from pure white to almost black. In addition to this ability, the contrast with the green pigments derived from chlorophyll is added (Nadot, 2020). In the animal kingdom, birds also allow a multicolored variation of their colors, especially the household canary. Understanding the process of what we say about the colors of canaries is the first step towards the success of a breeder at a competitive level. By the way, Awano & Osumi (2021) have already addressed the topic of bird feathers through a paper on peacock feathers.

The colors themselves express something to us and are a form of communication through our eyes. They touch parts of our subconscious and serve as a trigger for emotions and feelings. They adorn our daily lives and are present in every moment of them, in our garments, objects,
environments and nature.
Every household canary, of the Serinus Canaria species (WETMORE, 1923), has a few distinct characteristics that compose the colors of its feathers – background colors, melanin colors, categories, and mutation – which, as combined, provide a different visual sensation. In addition,
some characteristics are complementary, such as the black or red colors of the eyes and the dark, light, or red hues of the beaks and feet.
