Data were collected through Michael Marquardt's two questionnaires of learning organization and Vick and Leon's questionnaire on assessing the merits of learning organization. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of a learning organization of Pasargad Bank in Mashhad branches. So, five hypotheses have been brought that the independent variables by five dimensions of learning dynamics, organizational change, making people strong, technology and knowledge management and dependent variables comprise the learning organization. B... more Store traffic and customer traffic flow are one of the factors affecting the store performance. By recognizing customers’ movement patterns within the store, companies can design interior layouts for the store, which can increase buyers' traffic, average transaction value, and profitability. In this study, the capacity of sections (stairs, special sales area, and checkout) was examined from a hypermarket in Iran. The data were collected through the store’s closed-circuit television films, and then, simulation was performed using the Pathfinder software, and the level of service each department was achieved. Based on the results of the research, the level of service of the store’s stairway was obtained C, which shows the level of service is a desirable stairway service. The level of service in the special sales and checkout area was achieved E, which according to the number of people per square meter, indicates the level of service undesirable for these sectors. Finally, based on results, solutions are provided to improve the quality level of service.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of brand experience on brand equit... more Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of brand experience on brand equity dimensions in the perspective of customers (including brand identification, physical quality, staff behavior quality, brand awareness, ideal self-congruence and life style-congruence) on brand satisfaction and loyalty in Iranian banking industry. Design/methodology/approach The author designed the conceptual model of the research based on the existing relationships between the research variables and the proposed hypotheses. By a questionnaire, the opinion of 288 customers and clients of selected branches of Melli and Tejarat banks were collected in two Provinces, including East and West Azerbaijan Provinces. The research hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. Findings The results of the paper showed that the brand experience directly affected all dimensions of brand equity. The purpose of current research is to study the effect of knowledge sharing on the psychological ... more The purpose of current research is to study the effect of knowledge sharing on the psychological empowerment of faculty members considering the intermediary (mediating) role of organizational memory in Semnan University. To study research variables, three standard questionnaires were distributed among 334 faculty members of the studied sample. Structural equation modeling has been used to test the hypotheses. Results show a meaningful effect between knowledge sharing and empowerment. They also show that organizational memory plays an intermediary role in affecting knowledge sharing over empowerment of faculty members. The important message for Semnan University is creation of strong cultural academic in accepting organizational memory and participating in the process of its creation and its implantation in forms of systems that facilitates the process of sharing knowledge by faculty members. Also, the empirical findings of this study will develop the literature on knowledge sharing, empowerment and organizational memory in higher education institutions.

Strategic agility was used as a dynamic capability. Design/methodology/approach – Data were collected from a survey aimed at manufacturing companies from five manufacturing industry in Semnan, Iran. A total of 102 questionnaires were received from 13 companies using convenience sampling. Fuzzy two-stage data envelopment analysis model (DEA) was used to analyse the data collected. Findings – The results indicate that there is close internal relationship among firm resources, strategic agility and competitive advantage, and their inherent relationship makes constant returns to scale (CRS) scores closer to 1. Traditionally, QFD rates the design requirements (DRs) with respect to customer requirements, and aggregates the rating to get relative importance score of DRs. An increasing number of studies emphasize on the need to incorporate additional factors, such as cost and environmental impact, while calculating the relative importance of DRs. However, there are different methodologies for driving the relative importance of DRs, when several additional factors are considered. TOPSIS (technique for order preferences by similarity to ideal solution) is suggested for the purpose of the research. This research proposes new approach of TOPSIS for considering the rating of DRs with respect to CRs, and several additional factors, simultaneously. Proposed method is illustrated using by step-by-step procedure. The proposed methodology was applied for the Sanam Electronic Company in Iran.

Some studies have focused on identifying the factors affecting the selection of medical tourism d... more Some studies have focused on identifying the factors affecting the selection of medical tourism destinations with regard to different types of treatment. But less attention has been paid to factors affecting individuals' travels to Iran for sex reassignment surgeries (SRS). There is a research gap with regard to this niche medical tourism market in Iran. Iran is one of the SRS pioneer countries, where the concept of this medical tourism market can be developed further. This study addresses this knowledge gap through in-depth interviews with key professionals in SRS and medical tourism. We use a content analysis of interviews to identify the factors affecting the selection of Iran as a medical destination for SRS by individuals. The results indicate that factors influencing individuals' decisions on medical tourism destinations come under seven headings. We conclude by recommending research directions for future research by health, medical, and managing scientists.
