Land registration is an administrative activity of the Department of Lands which aims to guarante... more Land registration is an administrative activity of the Department of Lands which aims to guarantee legal certainty. However, in practice, there are problems such as overlapping evidence of land ownership and unequal land ownership. This article discusses the obstacles to land management through equitable land registration activities. The research method used is normative juridical and qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that there are internal obstacles in the implementation of land order through fair land registration activities in the form of limited human resources, the workload of land office employees who are not small, and the different social conditions of the surrounding community. Features to pay attention to in practice. Based on local wisdom. External barriers are still not optimal for community participation, there are people who are still reluctant to participate in land registration activities.
