Original Research Article With special emphasis on the Ogbaru local government area of Anambra st... more Original Research Article With special emphasis on the Ogbaru local government area of Anambra state, the study examined issues with youth unemployment and security in Nigeria. In particular, the research looked at how youth unemployment in Ogbaru Local Government Area has impacted poverty and how much it has affected social vices. The research used a survey methodology. The study's sample of 400 respondents was chosen from a group of 221,879 using Yamane's 1976 sample size calculation formula. A percentage and frequency table was used to evaluate the data from the structured questionnaire, and multiple regressions were used to verify the hypotheses. According to the study, youth unemployment has led to an increase in social vices like kidnapping, prostitution, robbery, and thuggery in the Ogbaru local government area. Therefore, the study suggests that in order to address the unemployment issue in Anambra State, Nigeria, government at all levels should generate more employment opportunities. To reduce youth unemployment in Nigeria, the government should also set up centers for vocational training and talent development.
The stretching of health workers carrying capacity as a result of the covid-19 pandemic in hospit... more The stretching of health workers carrying capacity as a result of the covid-19 pandemic in hospitals necessitated this study to determine the effect of work-life balance on employee performance in government-owned hospitals in Anambra State. The study was anchored on Border Theory of Clark in the year 2000. A survey research design was adopted by the study with a population of 2360 and a sample size of 342 health workers, arrived at using Taro Yamane formula. Questionnaire was the instrument of data collection and analyzed using correlation analysis at 5% level of significance. The result indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship existing between workload and service quality in the selected hospitals in Anambra State. Hence, the study recommended among other things that the state needs to employ more health workers to reduce the workload of the existing ones in public hospitals in Anambra State.

Blurring of the boundary between paid work personal life is always an issue with teleworking, even in the best of times, but it seems to be particularly problematic due to the unique circumstances of the pandemic. A conceptual approach was used to analysis the benefits and drawbacks of telecommuting during Covid 19. Socio-technical system (STS) theory was adopted which examines the
relationships between people, technology, and the work environment, to design work in a way that enhances job satisfaction and increases productivity. The study therefore, recommended that telecommuters, should be able to separate their work from their personal lives, and must be capable of overcoming the threats posed by working in isolation.

The teaching methods used in entrepreneurship education are a lynchpin for university students to... more The teaching methods used in entrepreneurship education are a lynchpin for university students to become graduate venture creators in the economy. However, many university graduates in Nigeria remain unemployed even after receiving an entrepreneurship education. This positivistic study examines the entrepreneurship teaching methods used in three public universities and the effects on the entrepreneurship development of millennials. The research used a census of 357 millennials who are in their final year of studies at three Nigerian public universities. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed using multiple regression. The findings reveal that teaching "through" entrepreneurship has a major contribution to the entrepreneurship development of millennials, while teaching "about" entrepreneurship, which many Nigerian universities adopt, depicts a negative effect. The study concludes that teaching methods significantly affect the entrepreneurship development of millennial students in public universities in Nigeria. There is an urgent need for lecturers in the universities to revisit how they teach entrepreneurship and adopt teaching methods that are effective in enabling students to practice rather than just become theoretically aware of entrepreneurship during the university education.

For this, federal government have acquainted several scheme to assist in checking joblessness among youths. In March 2012,
the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) initiative introduced Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship (SAED) Programs into the NYSC orientation course content. The objectives of the scheme incorporate sensitization and mobilization of young graduates for skill acquisition, assistance of preparing and tutoring in business enterprise development. This study look at the usefulness of the NYSC-SAED program in reducing youth restiveness and unemployment among young graduates in Nigeria. 60 Corp members currently serving were interviewed using key informant interview and Focus Group Discussions. Significant theoretical and empirical literature were reviewed. This research was supported on Strain
Theory. The study population comprises of 60 Corp members selected arbitrarily from Anambra State. The information gathered were analysed using simple percentages and descriptive statistics. Greater part of the respondents recognized that the NYSC-SAED program has made them to become independent after the service year since they set up their independent company with the little training they got. The study therefore recommend that efforts ought to be geared towards leasing with financial institutions and protection offices to help in giving funds and protection which will help in living condition and improve their businesses. Likewise, SAED handouts ought to be made accessible to all Corp members at the camp at no expense to guarantee full participation by every one of them in the training.

a hostile and unpleasant working environment leading to poor service delivery. This study examined the relationship that exists between organizational culture and hotels quality service delivery in Enugu Metropolis, Enugu State. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design and data were collected from respondents with the aid of a structured questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed using the arithmetic mean. Hypotheses were tested using Pearson Product Moment correlation Coefficient via Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS 23). Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between organizational behavior and quality service delivery in hotels in Enugu Metropolis. The study concluded that organizational culture has a great
impact on the quality of services hotels in Enugu Metropolis offers to the customer, and recommended that management of hotels in Enugu Metropolis should inculcate the organizational value and international best practices to the functionality of her staff as that will help sell out the organizational image to the satisfaction of their customers which is ultimate in the hotel business.

Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational environment are critical components ... more Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational environment are critical components of Nigerian plastic manufacturing companies' performance and success. In the setting of plastic manufacturing companies in Anambra State, this study investigates the connection between organizational environment and OCB. The study used a descriptive research survey approach and examines information gathered from 156 employees of plastic manufacturing companies who answered a standard questionnaire. The findings show a strong correlation between generosity and job advancement as well as between a positive working environment and sportsmanship. The results indicate that in order to increase corporate citizenship behavior, businesses should concentrate on expanding career development options and creating a pleasant collaboration environment. These techniques will result in higher output, lower employee attrition, and better organizational performance in Nigeria's plastic manufacturing sector.

selected commercial banks in Nigeria. The study adopted a positivistic research paradigm. One hundred ninety-two employees from three commercial banks, namely Access, Fidelity and Zenith banks in Anambra
State, were selected using random sampling. Data collected from employees through a structured questionnaire were analysed using Analysis of Variance through the aid of SPSS version 26. The findings
reveal that formalisation has a significant and positive effect on employees’ commitment at (F-value=2.233; p-value=0.022). The hierarchical layer in the banks has a significant and positive effect on employees’ efficiency at (F-value=0.726; p-value=0.015), while departmentalisation also has a significant and positive effect on employees’ service delivery at (F-value=2.142; p-value=0.016). Overall, this study concludes that organisational structure has a significant and positive effect on the performance of employees in commercial
banks. Corporate strategists and human resource managers in commercial banks need to leverage organisational structure to enhance employees' commitment, efficiency, and performance and as a strategic
enabler for improving the delivery of quality service internally to colleagues and externally to customers.

The study revealed that honouring promises made or agreement reached, good negotiation skills, collective bargaining or collective agreement and mutual respect are
alternatives to industrial action when strictly adhered to by the two parties. From the findings, it was recommended among others that ASUU and the federal government should explore collective bargaining mechanisms, using negotiation as a tool to find a workable solution that will not only be acceptable but achievable by all key stakeholders in the education sector thereby reducing constant strike currently seen in Nigeria.

The aim of this work is to consider the impact of individual norms, observed behavioral control, risk-taking propensity and character individualities on innovative intents of high school students in SouthEast , Nigeria. Relevant theoretical and empirical literature were reviewed. This research was underpinned on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The study used frequencies, graph, and mean in the study design. The study population comprises of 1187 students from Faculty of Management Sciences (Business Administration precisely) of the five State Universities in SouthEast regions. The statistical formula devised by Borg and Gall (1973) was employed to have a sample size of 369. The data generated were analyzed using simple percentage while the formulated hypotheses were tested with Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA). From the investigation it was discovers that Character traits have a confident strong noteworthy impact on innovative intents of university students in southeast. Perceived attitude control and individual norms has an encouraging effect on entrepreneurial intents of students in southEast. This study concludes that entrepreneurship tutoring/training has a confident strong effect on innovative intentions of university students in southeast, Nigeria. The study recommends that students ought to consider their personal character before trying into business since the behaviors can determine the entrepreneurial purposes and ultimately entrepreneurial success. Entrepreneurial training and mentoring need to educate student on level of risk involves in entrepreneurship in other to increase awareness towards embracing entrepreneurship and reduce over dependence on government and other policy makers.

This study is aimed at investigating the relationship between students' entrepreneurial skill acquisition and human capital development in state universities in SouthEastern , Nigeria. The study is predicated on Dekeyser's theory of skill learning (2007). The idea contends that learning a broad range of abilities exhibits a striking resemblance in development from early information representation through early behavioral modifications to ultimately fluent, spontaneous, mostly easy, and highly competent behavior. The study employed descriptive survey research design. The study's 1325 participants were divided into 307 samples using Taro Yamane's statistical technique. The test was run at a significance level of 0.05 after the data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study found a substantial and positive correlation between students' human capital development and skill acquisition at state universities in SouthEast Nigeria. The study recommended that students acquire entrepreneurial skills so they can create jobs rather than looking for them after graduation.

Research methodology: The study adopted a qualitative research
design with five participants. An in-depth interview was used to
elicit relevant information from the respondents. Data generated
were carefully transcribed, reviewed, and harmonized. Thematic
categories were created and categorized into two major themestechnological-driven marketing and need-oriented entrepreneurial
marketing.
Results: The study revealed that need-oriented marketing and
technology-driven marketing are pivotal to the growth and
sustainability of SMEs in the post-Covid-19 Era.
Limitations: The restriction on gathering of people more than ten
by the State Government due to the Covid-19 limited our study as
the researchers would have loved to have a group and interactive
decisions with the participants.
Contribution: The result of this study will serve as an eye-opener
to Nigerian policymakers and SME operators to key into modern
entrepreneurial marketing tools and selvage her already depressed
economy.

Paul Romer's (1986) Human Capital theory, which stresses how
workers' productivity and efficiency are increased by education
through raising their level of cognitive skills. Descriptive survey
research design was adopted for the study. The study’s population is
317 which comprises of 70 final year students of the 2021/2022
academic session of the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies, 130
final year students Accountancy department and 117 of the
Department of Business Administration from Chukwuemeka
Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The study adopted census study which
entails using the entire population since the entire population is
manageable. The study adopted primary source of data. In order
ascertain the needed information for the study, a structured
questionnaire on a five point likert scale was administered to the
respondents. To determine if the tool was reliable, the study used
Cronbach Alpha. The outcome demonstrates that the instrument is
reliable. The study adopted Product Moment Correlation Coefficient
for hypothesis testing. According to the study, content delivery and the
development of students' human capital at state universities in
Anambra State, Nigeria, are positively and significantly correlated.
The study found a strong correlation between the delivery of
entrepreneurial content and the development of students' human
capital at state universities in South East Nigeria. The study
recommended that tutors and lecturers of entrepreneurship education
should adopt the right teaching methods that will encourage and
promote innovative behaviours in budding entrepreneurs.

The objective of the study was to ascertain the relationship between electronic commerce and sustainability of SMEs in Anambra State. Three specific objectives, research questions, and hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The study adopted the descriptive survey design which sought to ascertain the effect of online customer service on service quality; between e-payment services on business accountability; between multi-channel marketing strategy on competitive advantage and order delivery on business competency of SMEs in Anambra state. The total population of the study was 260 and also served as the sample size. The purposive random sampling technique was used in selecting the SMEs currently operating in Anambra State. The structured questionnaire was used to elicit vital information from the respondents, and this was structured on a five-point Likert scale. The data collected were analyzed using tabular presentations based on cumulative frequencies, mean and standard deviations analysis for each research question. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS ver.23) was used in testing the various hypotheses. Based on the findings, the study showed that customer service affected service quality of SMEs in Anambra State. The second hypothesis revealed that e-payment services affected business accountability of SMEs in Anambra state. The third hypothesis also revealed that multi-channel marketing strategy affected competitive advantage and also order delivery influenced business competency of SMEs in Anambra state. The study concluded that electronic commerce had a significant relationship on the sustainability SMEs in Anambra State. The study recommended among others, that SMEs in Anambra state should embrace various forms of e-commerce to ensure better survival and sustainability in the industry. State governmental agencies, policymakers, emarketing experts, supply chain specialists should make necessary arrangements to assist SMEs who desire to deploy e-commerce systems especially online customer service so as to strengthen their ability to render quality service. Also, operators and staff of various SMEs within the state and the country at large were advised to engage more effective multichannel marketing strategies to further enhance their competitive performance within the industry. They should embrace dynamism in their operations both in serving their customers and also in strengthening their business capabilities.

The objective of the study was to investigate the effect of innovativeness, risk-taking, proactiveness and competitive aggressiveness on the performance of agro-processing SMEs in Anambra State. The study used a descriptive research design and structured questionnaires to collect data from owner-managers of 400 agroprocessing SMEs registered with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC). Data were analysed using multiple regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between innovativeness, risk-taking, proactiveness, competitive aggressiveness and performance of SMEs. The EO of agro-processing SMEs is constitutive of not only risky-taking, innovativeness, and proactiveness but also competitive aggressiveness in response to the ever-changing customer demands. High employee turnover rates may jeopardize efforts to attain organizational objectives. In addition, when an organization loses a critical employee, the Effects on innovation, consistency in providing service to customers and timely delivery of services to customers may be negatively affected. The research design used in this study was the quantitative approach, which allowed the researcher to use structured questionnaires in collecting data. The simple random sampling technique was used to select forty respondents from all levels of management in the company. A high response rate of 95% was obtained using the personal method of data collection, based on which the analysis was made using the frequency tables. The study found that lack of promotion, lack of motivation influence their decision to leave, lack of good working conditions, lack of recognition of one's effort, lack of staff training and development, work load, unfair management treatment, low career development opportunities, pursue of higher education, lack of promotional opportunities, poor quality of job training, lack of proper supervision, and poor chances of improving skills were the primary causes of employee attrition in an organization. Attrition, however, had dual effects on the organization; positive and negative effects. Whiles employee turnover introduced new ideas and skill into the company; it's also led to difficulties in attracting new staff. To reduce the rate of attrition, management should review condition of service for employees; and also ensure that the working environment is conducive.

investing in cyber security to protect their databases,
prevent monetary losses, maintain customer trust, and
remain afloat in a competitive business environment.
However, there are incessant cyber risks and attacks by
criminals who gain undue access to the cyber-space of MFB
and cause financial and non-financial loss. The objective of
this quantitative study was to examine the effect of cyber
security on the business sustainability of three listed, and
most valued MFBs in Nigeria. The population of the study
was 315 senior, medium and junior employees of three
MFBs in Nigeria. As the target population was
manageable, the research adopted a census. Data were
collected using a semi-structured questionnaire, and the
formulated hypothesis was analysed using multiple
regression. The study found that cyber security has a
significant and positive impact on the sustainability of
MFB in Nigeria. Data availability account for the largest
contribution to the sustainability of MFBs, followed by
data confidentiality and data integrity. Employees in a
MFB uphold that data availability, confidentiality, and
integrity are pivotal elements of cyber security that
influence the sustainability of their organisations in
Nigeria. Given these results from the viewpoint of
employees, MFBs are implored to regularly review and
strengthen their risk management strategy and adopt a
more integrative approach of human-centric cybersecurity, which brings technology and human elements together to address current and future cyber risks and build and sustain consumer trust in digital financial transactions. The implication of the study and areas for future research are highlighted.

This descriptive study explores internet banking services, automated teller machines and crowdfunding as the explanatory/independent variables, while the dependent variable was entrepreneurship development. The study population was 3,574 owner-managers of manufacturing small and medium enterprises in Anambra State, Nigeria. A sample of three hundred and four (344) owner managers was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collected through structured questionnaires were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results show that internet banking services, automated teller machine services, and crowdfunding positively affect entrepreneurship development. The study concluded that channels for a cashless economy have a significant and positive effect on entrepreneurship development. The study recommends that an integrated and intensive campaign is critical to sensitize the citizenry on the benefits of various channels for the cashless economy on business performance
and survival as well as customer satisfaction. Additionally, the campaign should be reinforced by adequate security mechanisms, user-friendly service, and reliable ATMs, with affordable fees and features that allow customers to make deposits. Implications of study and areas for future
research are highlighted.

This study was anchored on the Contingency Theory. This study employed a descriptive survey approach. The Population of the study is 1737 SMEs, A sample size of 327 was drawn from the population by the use of Borg and Gall formula for finite population. Questionnaire was administered to the top managers and owners of the SMEs. The hypotheses of the study were tested by simple and multiple regression analysis, at 0.05 level of significance, through the use of Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Simple Linear Regression. The study revealed that there is a strong positive relationship between high interest rate and tax incentive and Performance of Small and Medium Scale Enterprise in Nigeria. Based on the findings of the study, some recommendation were made, which include among others, that Government should make access to fund easier with low interest rate for small and medium scale enterprises this will enable them to have the necessary funds for other activities that will lead to growth in their business and yield profitability also Government should give tax incentives to the SMEs as an encouragement support to aid their growth and improve productivity.

Questionnaire was the instrument of data collection and analyzed using correlation analysis at 5% level of significance. The result indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship existing between workload and service quality in the selected hospitals in Anambra State. Hence, the study recommended among other things that the state needs to employ more health workers to reduce the workload of the existing ones in public hospitals in Anambra State.

However, many university graduates in Nigeria remain unemployed even after receiving an entrepreneurship education. This positivistic study examines the entrepreneurship teaching methods used in three public universities and the effects on the entrepreneurship development of millennials. The research used a census of 357 millennials who are in their final year of studies at three Nigerian public universities. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed using multiple regression. The findings reveal that teaching "through" entrepreneurship has a major contribution to the entrepreneurship development of millennials, while teaching "about" entrepreneurship, which many Nigerian universities adopt, depicts a negative effect. The study concludes that teaching methods significantly affect the entrepreneurship development of millennial students in public universities in Nigeria. There is an urgent need for lecturers in the universities to revisit how they teach entrepreneurship and adopt teaching methods that are effective in enabling students to practice rather than just become theoretically aware of entrepreneurship during the university education.

the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) initiative introduced Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship (SAED) Programs into the NYSC orientation course content. The objectives of the scheme incorporate sensitization and mobilization of young graduates for skill acquisition, assistance of preparing and tutoring in business enterprise development. This study look at the usefulness of the NYSC-SAED program in reducing youth restiveness and unemployment among young graduates in Nigeria. 60 Corp members currently serving were interviewed using key informant interview and Focus Group Discussions. Significant theoretical and empirical literature were reviewed. This research was supported on Strain
Theory. The study population comprises of 60 Corp members selected arbitrarily from Anambra State. The information gathered were analysed using simple percentages and descriptive statistics. Greater part of the respondents recognized that the NYSC-SAED program has made them to become independent after the service year since they set up their independent company with the little training they got. The study therefore recommend that efforts ought to be geared towards leasing with financial institutions and protection offices to help in giving funds and protection which will help in living condition and improve their businesses. Likewise, SAED handouts ought to be made accessible to all Corp members at the camp at no expense to guarantee full participation by every one of them in the training.

In the setting of plastic manufacturing companies in Anambra State, this study investigates the connection between organizational environment and OCB. The study used a descriptive research survey approach and examines information gathered from 156 employees of plastic manufacturing companies who answered a standard questionnaire. The findings show a strong correlation between generosity and job advancement as well as between a positive working environment and sportsmanship. The results indicate that in order to increase corporate citizenship behavior, businesses should concentrate on expanding career development options and creating a pleasant collaboration environment. These techniques will result in higher output, lower employee attrition, and better organizational performance in Nigeria's plastic manufacturing sector.

selected commercial banks in Nigeria. The study adopted a positivistic research paradigm. One hundred ninety-two employees from three commercial banks, namely Access, Fidelity and Zenith banks in Anambra
State, were selected using random sampling. Data collected from employees through a structured questionnaire were analysed using Analysis of Variance through the aid of SPSS version 26. The findings
reveal that formalisation has a significant and positive effect on employees’ commitment at (F-value=2.233; p-value=0.022). The hierarchical layer in the banks has a significant and positive effect on employees’ efficiency at (F-value=0.726; p-value=0.015), while departmentalisation also has a significant and positive effect on employees’ service delivery at (F-value=2.142; p-value=0.016). Overall, this study concludes that organisational structure has a significant and positive effect on the performance of employees in commercial
banks. Corporate strategists and human resource managers in commercial banks need to leverage organisational structure to enhance employees' commitment, efficiency, and performance and as a strategic

The aim of this work is to consider the impact of individual norms, observed behavioral control, risk-taking propensity and character individualities on innovative intents of high school students in SouthEast , Nigeria. Relevant theoretical and empirical literature were reviewed. This research was underpinned on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The study used frequencies, graph, and mean in the study design. The study population comprises of 1187 students from Faculty of Management Sciences (Business Administration precisely) of the five State Universities in SouthEast regions. The statistical formula devised by Borg and Gall (1973) was employed to have a sample size of 369. The data generated were analyzed using simple percentage while the formulated hypotheses were tested with Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA). From the investigation it was discovers that Character traits have a confident strong noteworthy impact on innovative intents of university students in southeast. Perceived attitude control and individual norms has an encouraging effect on entrepreneurial intents of students in southEast. This study concludes that entrepreneurship tutoring/training has a confident strong effect on innovative intentions of university students in southeast, Nigeria. The study recommends that students ought to consider their personal character before trying into business since the behaviors can determine the entrepreneurial purposes and ultimately entrepreneurial success. This study is aimed at investigating the relationship between students' entrepreneurial skill acquisition and human capital development in state universities in SouthEastern , Nigeria. The study is predicated on Dekeyser's theory of skill learning (2007). The idea contends that learning a broad range of abilities exhibits a striking resemblance in development from early information representation through early behavioral modifications to ultimately fluent, spontaneous, mostly easy, and highly competent behavior. The study employed descriptive survey research design. The study's 1325 participants were divided into 307 samples using Taro Yamane's statistical technique. The test was run at a significance level of 0.05 after the data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study found a substantial and positive correlation between students' human capital development and skill acquisition at state universities in SouthEast Nigeria. The study recommended that students acquire entrepreneurial skills so they can create jobs rather than looking for them after graduation.

Research methodology: The study adopted a qualitative research
design with five participants. An in-depth interview was used to
elicit relevant information from the respondents. Data generated
were carefully transcribed, reviewed, and harmonized. Thematic
categories were created and categorized into two major themestechnological-driven marketing and need-oriented entrepreneurial
marketing.
Results: The study revealed that need-oriented marketing and
technology-driven marketing are pivotal to the growth and
sustainability of SMEs in the post-Covid-19 Era.
Limitations: The restriction on gathering of people more than ten
by the State Government due to the Covid-19 limited our study as
the researchers would have loved to have a group and interactive
decisions with the participants.
Contribution: The result of this study will serve as an eye-opener
to Nigerian policymakers and SME operators to key into modern
entrepreneurial marketing tools and selvage her already depressed
economy.

through raising their level of cognitive skills. Descriptive survey
research design was adopted for the study. The study’s population is
317 which comprises of 70 final year students of the 2021/2022
academic session of the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies, 130
final year students Accountancy department and 117 of the
Department of Business Administration from Chukwuemeka
Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The study adopted census study which
entails using the entire population since the entire population is
manageable. The study adopted primary source of data. In order
ascertain the needed information for the study, a structured
questionnaire on a five point likert scale was administered to the
respondents. To determine if the tool was reliable, the study used
Cronbach Alpha. The outcome demonstrates that the instrument is
reliable. The study adopted Product Moment Correlation Coefficient
for hypothesis testing. According to the study, content delivery and the
development of students' human capital at state universities in
Anambra State, Nigeria, are positively and significantly correlated.
The study found a strong correlation between the delivery of
entrepreneurial content and the development of students' human
capital at state universities in South East Nigeria. The study
recommended that tutors and lecturers of entrepreneurship education
should adopt the right teaching methods that will encourage and
promote innovative behaviours in budding entrepreneurs.

The objective of the study was to ascertain the relationship between electronic commerce and sustainability of SMEs in Anambra State. Three specific objectives, research questions, and hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The study adopted the descriptive survey design which sought to ascertain the effect of online customer service on service quality; between e-payment services on business accountability; between multi-channel marketing strategy on competitive advantage and order delivery on business competency of SMEs in Anambra state. The total population of the study was 260 and also served as the sample size. The purposive random sampling technique was used in selecting the SMEs currently operating in Anambra State. The structured questionnaire was used to elicit vital information from the respondents, and this was structured on a five-point Likert scale. The data collected were analyzed using tabular presentations based on cumulative frequencies, mean and standard deviations analysis for each research question. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS ver.23) was used in testing the various hypotheses. Based on the findings, the study showed that customer service affected service quality of SMEs in Anambra State. The second hypothesis revealed that e-payment services affected business accountability of SMEs in Anambra state. The third hypothesis also revealed that multi-channel marketing strategy affected competitive advantage and also order delivery influenced business competency of SMEs in Anambra state. The study concluded that electronic commerce had a significant relationship on the sustainability SMEs in Anambra State. The study recommended among others, that SMEs in Anambra state should embrace various forms of e-commerce to ensure better survival and sustainability in the industry. State governmental agencies, policymakers, emarketing experts, supply chain specialists should make necessary arrangements to assist SMEs who desire to deploy e-commerce systems especially online customer service so as to strengthen their ability to render quality service. Also, operators and staff of various SMEs within the state and the country at large were advised to engage more effective multichannel marketing strategies to further enhance their competitive performance within the industry. They should embrace dynamism in their operations both in serving their customers and also in strengthening their business capabilities.

The objective of the study was to investigate the effect of innovativeness, risk-taking, proactiveness and competitive aggressiveness on the performance of agro-processing SMEs in Anambra State. The study used a descriptive research design and structured questionnaires to collect data from owner-managers of 400 agroprocessing SMEs registered with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC). Data were analysed using multiple regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between innovativeness, risk-taking, proactiveness, competitive aggressiveness and performance of SMEs. The EO of agro-processing SMEs is constitutive of not only risky-taking, innovativeness, and proactiveness but also competitive aggressiveness in response to the ever-changing customer demands. High employee turnover rates may jeopardize efforts to attain organizational objectives. In addition, when an organization loses a critical employee, the Effects on innovation, consistency in providing service to customers and timely delivery of services to customers may be negatively affected. The research design used in this study was the quantitative approach, which allowed the researcher to use structured questionnaires in collecting data. The simple random sampling technique was used to select forty respondents from all levels of management in the company. A high response rate of 95% was obtained using the personal method of data collection, based on which the analysis was made using the frequency tables. The study found that lack of promotion, lack of motivation influence their decision to leave, lack of good working conditions, lack of recognition of one's effort, lack of staff training and development, work load, unfair management treatment, low career development opportunities, pursue of higher education, lack of promotional opportunities, poor quality of job training, lack of proper supervision, and poor chances of improving skills were the primary causes of employee attrition in an organization. Attrition, however, had dual effects on the organization; positive and negative effects. Whiles employee turnover introduced new ideas and skill into the company; it's also led to difficulties in attracting new staff. To reduce the rate of attrition, management should review condition of service for employees; and also ensure that the working environment is conducive.

prevent monetary losses, maintain customer trust, and
remain afloat in a competitive business environment.
However, there are incessant cyber risks and attacks by
criminals who gain undue access to the cyber-space of MFB
and cause financial and non-financial loss. The objective of
this quantitative study was to examine the effect of cyber
security on the business sustainability of three listed, and
most valued MFBs in Nigeria. The population of the study
was 315 senior, medium and junior employees of three
MFBs in Nigeria. As the target population was
manageable, the research adopted a census. Data were
collected using a semi-structured questionnaire, and the
formulated hypothesis was analysed using multiple
regression. The study found that cyber security has a
significant and positive impact on the sustainability of
MFB in Nigeria. Data availability account for the largest
contribution to the sustainability of MFBs, followed by
data confidentiality and data integrity. Employees in a
MFB uphold that data availability, confidentiality, and
integrity are pivotal elements of cyber security that
influence the sustainability of their organisations in
Nigeria. Given these results from the viewpoint of
employees, MFBs are implored to regularly review and
strengthen their risk management strategy and adopt a
more integrative approach of human-centric cybersecurity, which brings technology and human elements together to address current and future cyber risks and build and sustain consumer trust in digital financial transactions. The implication of the study and areas for future research are highlighted.

This descriptive study explores internet banking services, automated teller machines and crowdfunding as the explanatory/independent variables, while the dependent variable was entrepreneurship development. The study population was 3,574 owner-managers of manufacturing small and medium enterprises in Anambra State, Nigeria. A sample of three hundred and four (344) owner managers was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collected through structured questionnaires were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results show that internet banking services, automated teller machine services, and crowdfunding positively affect entrepreneurship development. The study concluded that channels for a cashless economy have a significant and positive effect on entrepreneurship development. The study recommends that an integrated and intensive campaign is critical to sensitize the citizenry on the benefits of various channels for the cashless economy on business performance
and survival as well as customer satisfaction. Additionally, the campaign should be reinforced by adequate security mechanisms, user-friendly service, and reliable ATMs, with affordable fees and features that allow customers to make deposits. Implications of study and areas for future
research are highlighted.

This study was anchored on the Contingency Theory. This study employed a descriptive survey approach. The Population of the study is 1737 SMEs, A sample size of 327 was drawn from the population by the use of Borg and Gall formula for finite population. Questionnaire was administered to the top managers and owners of the SMEs. The hypotheses of the study were tested by simple and multiple regression analysis, at 0.05 level of significance, through the use of Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Simple Linear Regression. The study revealed that there is a strong positive relationship between high interest rate and tax incentive and Performance of Small and Medium Scale Enterprise in Nigeria. Based on the findings of the study, some recommendation were made, which include among others, that Government should make access to fund easier with low interest rate for small and medium scale enterprises this will enable them to have the necessary funds for other activities that will lead to growth in their business and yield profitability also Government should give tax incentives to the SMEs as an encouragement support to aid their growth and improve productivity.
