The method of successive approximations is used to prove the existence, whereas the contraction theory is applied to prove the uniqueness of the solution to the problem.

Theorems on existence and uniqueness of a solution are established under some necessary and sufficient conditions on compact spaces. Furthermore, the study leads us to improve and extend the above method and the study become more general and detailed than those introduced by Butris results.

Teorema Krasnoselskii, prinsip Banach Contraction dan teori derajat Leray-Schauder adalah teorema dasar yang digunakan di sini untuk mencari solusi hasil. Dalam artikel ini juga diberikan contoh sederhana dari penerapan hasil persamaannya.

In this paper we study the existence and uniqueness solution for a first kind fractional Volterra... more In this paper we study the existence and uniqueness solution for a first kind fractional Volterra boundary value problem involving Hadamard type and three-point boundary conditions. Our analysis is based on Krasnoselskii-Zabreiko’s fixed point theorem and Banach contraction principle. As an application we discuss a Hadamard type boundary value problem with fractional integral boundary conditions. We emphasize that our results are new in the context of Hadamard fractional calculus and are well illustrated with the aid of examples.
