In today's world of globalization, it becomes very difficult for a person to secure and maintain a healthy and happy relationship. The status of marital relationships is continuously on a detrimental phase all over the world. Many factors contributed in the downfall of stability of marital relationships. The institution of marriage forms a very significant baseline of all types of relationships in any society. Women in any relationship are played more crucial role as compared to men. This paper is an attempt to find out various determinants of marital stability among married women in Aligarh City of Uttar Pradesh, India. A sample of 200 women was taken for the study to find out the determinants of marital stability among married women ranging from 25-55 years of age.

The process of giving care and love to a newborn by various means of activities is known a child-rearing and the activities performed during this are known as child-rearing practices. Feeding is essential for the maintenance of good health and for proper growth and development of babies. Breast milk is ideal for a baby for the first half year of his life.Now a days, with industrialization families are becoming nuclear and there is nobody to guide a mother how to perform her duties for her child. Mass media is an emerging trend which mothers are following in absence or presence of their elders in the home. Mass media is having a large impact on the minds of the audience and is multiplied by them.In the present study, the purpose of this research was to study the impact of mass media on breastfeeding practices.The initial data collection was done with a self-prepared Demographic Questionnaire.CRP Questionnaire is also used and is designed to measure mass media impact on breastfeeding practices. Inferential statistics such as chi-square and correlation are used to see the perceived impact of mass media on breastfeeding practices of mothers. The mass media is having an impact on mother's breastfeeding practices to some extent in urban areas of Aligarh whereas in rural areas no perceived impact is seen as mothers are following practices told by their elders and doctors. Although mothers in both regions i.e. urban and rural areas are practicing best breastfeeding practices.

Children of a family though sharing the same genetic pools from both of their parents and also raised in a similar environment attain different capabilities in their adult lives. There has been some research in the past to understand why such differences occur. However, these researches have either not considered academic achievement – which in the modern competitive world is often considered as one of the key criterion to judge one’s total potential and capability – as one of their parameters of study or the final conclusions so drawn fail to clearly define the relationship between ordinal position and academic achievement. In this paper an attempt has been made to examine a relationship between the ordinal position and academic achievement. For this purpose, a sample of 50 children was selected which was limited to the young adolescents (age 13-16 years). ...
