ChatGPT from OpenAI is an amazing example of machine learning technology. This technology has now become an important issue for high-tech plagiarism concerns. Indeed, there are many concerns about using this tool, perhaps using other technologies to make ChatGPT safer. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) may be a way out. We aim to discuss such an alternative.
Design/methodology/approach
To preventing with high-tech plagiarism created by the ChatGPT tool two ways can help schools, universities, and scientific centers to prevent academic plagiarism: firstly, by banning ChatGPT and adjusting teaching styles, and secondly, by using detecting AI-produced content. In this viewpoint, we suggest a third way that can be a way out.
Findings
NFTs technology has the ability to add a non-fungibility feature to any digital object (Image, Text, or Video), Therefore, any text produced by artificial intelligence tools can be given a specific NFT code. With this work, we add a feature to texts produced by artificial intelligence, that is the non-fungibility feature.
Originality/value
In this viewpoint, how and why Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) may be a usefully added value in preventing acts of high-tech plagiarism on ChatGPT is discussed.

ChatGPT is a natural language processing tool driven by artificial intelligence technology that gives users the ability to talk to a chatbot and ask it questions. In this viewpoint, our aim is to investigate whether ChatGPT technology can be effective as a digital reference service in information centers (e.g. libraries).
Design/methodology/approach
To answer the impact of ChatGPT on digital reference services we chatted with ChatGPT and asked two questions: 1- How can ChatGPT be used to improve digital reference services? And 2- Can be used as a digital reference librarian from ChatGPT?
Findings
ChatGPT can be programmed to function as a digital reference librarian. It can provide users with research assistance, answer reference questions, help users navigate databases and other resources, and gather and analyze data on user interactions with the service.
Originality/value
This viewpoint considers the importance of using ChatGPT as a digital reference service.

During this time, governments began developing smartphone-based apps for prevention, call tracking, and monitoring people with COVID-19. An important question is, does everyone benefit from these technologies equally and fairly? To answer this question, we evaluated the user interface of smartphone-based apps developed during the COVID-19 era by considering their design for older adults, in order to determine whether social justice has been considered in the development of these apps.

In the undeveloped countries, on the other hand, citizens have had no accession or ability to use digital technologies to prevent COVID-19. Having this in front, in the MyShield research project, we aim to address how to teach self-care skills in undeveloped countries in the era of COVID-19 using a mobile low-cost application effectively based on a standard educational model (ADDIE). This paper reports a framework that arises from the results of semi-structured interviews and online workshops conducted in the ADDIE design process for the self-care mobile application. The specialists contributed to indicte the appropriate content for teaching self-care skills while informants contributed to optimize the user experience flow.

APIs can improve an organization's presence on the Web with tools that integrate various useful, popular programs. This study aimed to identify appropriate web-based APIs used by the most popular public library websites for presentation on Iranian public libraries' websites. For this purpose, we conducted this study in two stages: In stage one, Web APIs were identified by reviewing the websites of the top public libraries in the world. Then, in stage two, using the obtained results, important Web APIs were selected utilizing experts' opinions (the heuristic method). In stage one, the 30 Web APIs in two categories were identified: 10 public Web APIs and 20 private Web APIs. Then, in stage two, 7 public APIs and 17 private Web APIs for these websites were selected, based on expert analysis. The results of this study can be used to improve the design of public library websites and enhance the communication of such websites' presence on the Web.
