The study aims to discover the description and influence of divergent thinking ability, learning motivation, and learning independence on mathematics learning outcomes of cognitive aspects and skills aspects of grade VIII students at MTs PP. Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng Sidrap. The type of this research is ex-post facto which is causality. The population of the study were all students of grade VIII at MTs PP. Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng Sidrap. The samples were 123 students who were selected from in grade VIII MTs by using cluster random sampling. The instruments used were: (1) divergent thinking ability scale, (2) learning motivation scale, (3) learning independence scale, (4) cognitive aspects of mathematics learning outcome test, and (5) skills aspects of mathematics learning outcome test.
