As a result of learning outcomes are always at the bottom compared to other subjects. Though mathematics has a very strategic role in many lives. To create the learning process fun, exciting, and can improve learning outcomes, it is necessary to change the exciting learning that is implementing STAD cooperative learning models and quizzes. Formulation of the problem posed :) How STAD cooperative learning models can encourage students to learn about the wide awake more excited ? How to play the quiz can encourage students to learn about the wide awake to be more excited ?. Based on the results of this study concluded STAD cooperative learning models can encourage students to learn about the wide awake more energized, improve learning , and learning outcomes. quizzes can play encourages students to learn about the wide awake become more vibrant , enhancing learning , and learning outcomes. To improve the learning process and learning outcomes math , STAD cooperative model can be used as an option to overcome the problems of learning mathematics. (quizzes as learning strategies in this study can also be applied in the study of mathematics , but necessary preparation, especially at the time of the assessment group of students answering the necessary assistance to help teachers who are good at working on the problems created by his friend. For researchers who want to conduct advanced research in accordance with the study also recommended that preparations be made perfect , especially in preparing instruments and their observation rubrics that clearly at the time of the quiz activity.
