As per Census 2011, 83.32 percent of the total population of Odisha lives in villages. Women comprise nearly half of the populace of Odisha. About 53.90 percent of the total female population of rural Odisha encompasses the labour force. They do arduous labour for the economic development of the nation at the grassroots level. Almost 46.10 percent of the female population in the rural sector is idle and redundant. This is mainly on account of existing social ethnicity that restricts rural women to go out of home living behind the family tie and household responsibility. They take care of their children and elderly parents as their primary responsibility. Besides the above they undertake activities such as cooking, cleaning of clothes of family members, collection of water for domestic use. They consume lot of productive time in collecting water for drinking and cooking purpose from far off places of their villages. The rural women take care and responsibility of domestic livestock and poultry even though they receive none of the advantages that livestock generates and the sale proceeds of livestock. Women play the key role in the 'care economy', which not only provides care to the young, old and the sick, but also is vital for ensuring a productive workforce. As this work is not remunerated, it is undervalued and lies outside general conceptualization of the economy. Women engaged in unpaid work often face a double work in a day as they work at home round the clock as long as their domestic duties are not completed. This means women are time poor and time burdened labour. It impacts on their health and wellbeing. To alleviate this burden and to make women free, they must be given opportunity to work as entrepreneurs. The present study focuses on how self help groups play an important role in

In the absence of entrepreneurship, the resources in the society remain unutilized and society is not able to attain its potential. It is all about to start a new business often on a small scale. It is the ability for sensing an opportunity where others see chaos, contradiction and confusion. The people who create these businesses are called the entrepreneurs. Apart from being ready to take actions entrepreneurs are the people full of self confidence and self motivation. Entrepreneurs are the persons who see a problem or an opportunity and immediately focus on it to find a solution. They are the leaders who bring revolutionary changes in the society. They constantly take action and proceed towards bringing the progress in the society. A successful entrepreneur can take any job no matter how unrealistic it seems to others. Today"s "new economy" entrepreneurs and their business models differ from the "old economy" entrepreneurs and their businesses in several respects. Traditional business was marked by heavy asset manufacturing and conventional service and with incremental improvements in technology but as of today asset light, online based new ventures with rapid changing technology brings light to the new economy. The worth of the traditional businesses was based on hard assets, whereas the worth of new age business is based on intangible valuation which cannot be mortgaged but can be bartered for equity capital. In present research paper, the case of OYO rooms describes the story of business foresightedness, technology orientation and a realistic approach towards the genuine problem of common people.

The effort to regularise the rural health sector with access to primary health care is required to prevent the disease and manage the health of people atan early stage. For this, the government by adopting technology is trying to ensure community and local government participation, social audit, and availability of well-trained professionals. Moreover, the other challenge is the out-of-pocket expenditure which comprises a major component of the total health expenditure (Economic Survey, 2018-19). In this scenario, Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) which meant to provide insurance to the poor, could not address the above problem effectively (Anup, 2017). The government can make health insurance mandatory through government-sponsored schemes to cut the out-of-pocket (OOP) expenditure. JEL Classification:113 and 115

The present preparation for the development and growth seems to be inappropriate to reduce the impact of unemployment and poverty. In the rural and backwards areas this situation is worse. The rural part of our India lacks employment equal opportunities and regular income. The central as well as the State Government have taken lots of steps for the promotion of the development of the poor in the country. The MGNREGA scheme is landmark legislation in Indian history of social security legislation after the Independence. The very basic and important objective of this Act is to improve the livelihood standards and security in rural parts by providing a minimum of 100 days of guaranteed employment on their demand. For the effective and efficient functioning of this programme the government has made certain provisions. The government has also made some anti-corruption and pro transparency steps for the smooth functioning of this scheme. The special official bodies have been appointed for the monitoring of this scheme. The very basic aim of this paper is to check the rural awareness about the various steps taken by the state as well as by the central government for the proper working of the scheme and their opinion for the improvement that should be made under this Act. The area for this study is the seven district of the Garhwal Mandal of the Uttarakhand State.

The effort to regularise the rural health sector with access to primary health care is required to prevent the disease and manage the health of people atan early stage. For this, the government by adopting technology is trying to ensure community and local government participation, social audit, and availability of well-trained professionals.
