Polyaniline and polyaniline/Iron oxide nanocomposites were synthesized by in-situ polymerization ... more Polyaniline and polyaniline/Iron oxide nanocomposites were synthesized by in-situ polymerization technique. The formation of PANI/Iron oxide nanocomposites with regards to the structural properties of the materials were investigated by X-Ray diraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) techniques. The crystallite size of iron oxide was found to be 36 nm as indicated by Log in | Register

The prepared nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The dc conductivity of the samples was measured as a function of temperature in the range 30–180 °C and it was found that the increasing the concentration of Ni–Zn ferrite particles increases the conductivity due to the hopping of polarons and extended chain length of composites. The sensing properties of these composites are also studied at room temperature and 50 wt% shows high sensitivity among all composites due to decrease in resistivity.

This fact is due to the constraints of Earth's natural resources, global warming and the increasingly high costs of energy consumption. With the modern era of miniaturization of equipments, heat pipes have attracted major attention in the field of heat transfer and also for waste heat recovery using heat pipe heat exchanger and utilization so as to economize the system. Heat pipe based heat sinks are the best solution for most of the modern day equipments dissipating high heat flux. This paper presents a research on few applications of heat pipe heat exchangers for High Power Electronic, railway locomotives, LED lights cooling and HVAC Systems for efficient heat dissipation and waste heat recovery.

Almost 90% of the world's energy needs are met by the non-renewable sources of energy like coal, oil and natural gas. This is of concern globally as the future generations would definitely be at threat. And this is the ringing alarm bell. The results of performance characteristics of a single cylinder, four stroke, computerized Kirloskar make CI Engine by using mahua (Madhuca indica) oil biodiesel and its 60% blend with diesel fuel have been presented in this paper. Short-term engine performance tests were conducted using diesel, mahua oil biodiesel and its 60% blend.

Synthesized NiO are used to prepare Polyaniline (PANI)-NiO nanocomposites by in situ chemical oxidative polymerization at 0-50C. Different weight percentages of NiO (10%,20%,30%,40% and 50%) were added during the polymerization. The nanocomposites were characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD).Surface morphology was studied using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). The dc conductivity of the samples was measured as a function of temperature in the range 30–1800C and it was found that the increasing the concentration of nanoparticles increases the conductivity and also the performance of a room temperature. These nanocomposites have microwave, sensor and battery applications.

Energy is the lifeblood of modern era. Oil is necessary for almost all machines to move and we live in an era where oil is necessary to produce transport food, for movement of vehicles, airplanes etc. oil is the most important ingredient for our lives, for industry, for economic development, for our prosperity but unfortunately, we are facing a global energy crisis with natural reserves being depleted fast due to over consumption. Almost 90% of the world's energy needs are met by the non-renewable sources of energy like coal, oil and natural gas. This has resulted in an alarmingly increased rate of depletion of the natural resources. In this paper author has successfully synthesized blending of Mahua bio-diesel and calculating physio-chemical properties.
