Application of asymmetric sidewall vertical metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (M... more Application of asymmetric sidewall vertical metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) is hindered by the parasitic overlap capacitance associated with their layout, which is considerably larger than for a lateral MOSFET on the same technology node. A simple process simulation has been developed to reduce the parasitic overlap capacitance in the asymmetric sidewalls vertical MOSFETs by using SOI (silicon on insulator) in bottom planar surfaces side. The result shows that while channel length decreases, the threshold voltage goes lower, the DIBL rises and subthreshold swing tends to decrease, for both structures. It is noted that the SVS MOSFET structure generally have better performance in SCE control compared to bulk vertical MOSFET. The presence of buried oxide is believed to increase the performance of vertical MOSFET, essentially in controlling the depletion in subthreshold voltage.

The electrical performance of fully depleted double gate MOSFET devices with vertical structure f... more The electrical performance of fully depleted double gate MOSFET devices with vertical structure feature were evaluated with the implementation of oblique rotating implantation (ORI) method for several silicon pillar thicknesses using virtual wafer tool. The difference in the subthreshold performance is well noticed, as well as the potentials across the channel for different geometries. The implication of channel length reduction shows that in fully depleted feature, thinner pillar will result in better subthreshold performances than the thicker structure while maintaining the high on-current. As a result, thinner pillar delivers better short channel characteristic control in further channel scaling up to 20 nm.

In this paper, a numerical study of carrier concentration for P-type strained Silicon MOS is presented. Density of state proportion of Fermi-Dirac integral that covers the carrier statistics to all degenerate level is studied and its limits are obtained. In the nondegenerate regime the results replicate Boltzmann statistic and its result is vary in degenerate regime. The Fermi energy with respect to the transformed band edge is a function of carrier concentration for quasi two dimensional strained Silicon PMOS. Based on the Fermi-Dirac statistic, density of state the carrier concentration is obtained. Fermi energy is a function of temperature that independent of the carrier concentration in the nondegenrate regime. In the other strongly degenerate, the Fermi energy is a function of carrier concentration appropriate for given dimensionality, but is independent of temperature. The limitations on carrier drift due to highfield streamlining of otherwise randomly velocity vector in equilibrium is reported. The results are based on asymmetrical distribution function that converts randomness in zero-field to streamlined one in a very high electric field. The ultimate drift velocity is found to be appropriate thermal velocity for a given dimensionality for non-degenerately doped nanostructure. However, the ultimate drift velocity is the Fermi velocity for degenerately doped nanostructures.

Recently, it has become a crucial issue due to the rapid increasing amount of waste, along with the increasingly national population in Indonesia. The goal of waste management is as a material recovery (MR), as an energy recovery (ER) and minimizing the environment impact. The plasma gasification modeling was developed based on plasma torch technology to estimate the syngas composition and energy potential. The process simulation is optimized for mixed steam and air as a gasifying agent. This study is to obtain the essential parameter to have the better content of H2 in the syngas, better plant efficiency and lowest CO2 emission for developing urban built environment with lesser greenhouse gases (GHG). In this work, we have investigated the potential of zigzag phosphorene antidot nanoribbons (ZPANR... more In this work, we have investigated the potential of zigzag phosphorene antidot nanoribbons (ZPANRs) for biosensing applications. ZPANRs were created from the optimized structures of phosphorene nanoribbons by using a density functional theory tool. Utilizing the generalized gradient approximation half method for improving the accuracy of calculations, we have studied the electronic and sensing behavior of ZPANRs based devices wherein nucleobases were inserted into the device. We have compared the device performance of ZPANRs with and without nucleobases and found that using ZPANRs devices, we are able to identify different nucleobases with considerable sensitivity. In a quantitative manner, a max sensitivity of 45[Formula: see text] is achieved while identifying adenine nucleobase using the ZPANRs based devices. From these simulation results, it is predicted that the ZPANR based two-terminal device can work as a possible biosensor.

The aim of this research is to create a pH control system to reins water pH on hydroponic. This control system consists of hardware such as pH sensor, microcontroller Atmega328p, servo motor, water pump, LCD and software such as program algorithm. Hardware components were control by program algorithm. The pH value of hydroponic was monitored by pH sensor. The pH value has been read by the sensor used to servo control on taps the acid and alkaline shelter. The pH control uses range of 5.50 to 6.50 as set point. The results showed that pH sensor has the calibration average error of 2.28%. The pH control system showed servo 2 "ON" and servo 1 "OFF" when pH value < 5.50. This resulted that addition of an alkaline that increasing pH of the liquid. And than servo 1 and servo 2 "OFF" when pH value on 5.50 to 6.50. This shows that the pH of the liquid on set point condition. While the servo 1 "on" and servo 2 "OFF" when pH value > 6.50 which resulted the addition of acid liquid that resulting decrease on pH of the liquid.

The center clamp angle of the active electrode has variations in the θ angles of 300, 450, and 600, and the distance variations between the active and passive electrodes (d) are 0.002 m, 0.005 m, and 0.008 m. This research proposes a system that helps display patient medical record data during the postpartum period. The system uses Cloud Computing (CC) technology for quick calculation of the classification of the nutritional status of infants during postpartum. Database management of nutritional status classification uses virtualization and Web Service (WS) who can manage the resources needed to support multitasking performance. The information obtained is then processed using the method Forward Chaining (FC) to model the patient's condition based on variables of vital signs and classification of nutritional status of children based on Anthropometry Index. The system created has advantages over previous research, using Cloud Computing (CC) Platform as a Service (PaaS) technology. This system is faster and more efficient in reading the monitoring area for classification of infant nutritional status. Data calculation simulations show the initial results that the output obtained is as expected.

Dengue fever is one of the main public health problems in Indonesia. The purpose of this research... more Dengue fever is one of the main public health problems in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to know the endemic area of dengue fever by using AHP and SMARTER method. AHP method is used to define the priority criteria, and SMARTER method is used to determine the final weight of criteria based on Rank Order Centroid (ROC) calculation. The result of research using AHP and SMARTER method get the rank order. The alternative ranks are rank 1 with the highest weight of 0.572 is Tembalang subdistrict. The lowest weight of 0.367 is Tugu and Mijen subdistricts. Alternatives with the highest Weight become the first priority in obtaining policies to cope with dengue cases. After that, followed by the rank order below because priority to tackle dengue fever case is done based on the order of ranking of each alternative. Banyaknya rumah makan yang menjual makanan khas, memicu perlunya strategi dalam pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sistem informasi untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran dengan memberikan rekomendasi produk kuliner berdasarkan kriteria yang diinginkan oleh konsumen. Digunakan teknik clustering k-means untuk memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan pengelompokan rumah makan berdasarkan kategori makanan menggunakan data jumlah menu yang terdapat pada rumah makan tersebut. Berdasarkan data jumlah menu, data di cluster menjadi 6 kelompok. The aim of this research is to create a pH control system to reins water pH on hydroponic. This control system consists of hardware such as pH sensor, microcontroller Atmega328p, servo motor, water pump, LCD and software such as program algorithm. Hardware components were control by program algorithm. The pH value of hydroponic was monitored by pH sensor. The pH value has been read by the sensor used to servo control on taps the acid and alkaline shelter. The pH control uses range of 5.50 to 6.50 as set point. The results showed that pH sensor has the calibration average error of 2.28%. The pH control system showed servo 2 "ON" and servo 1 "OFF" when pH value < 5.50. This resulted that addition of an alkaline that increasing pH of the liquid. And than servo 1 and servo 2 "OFF" when pH value on 5.50 to 6.50. This shows that the pH of the liquid on set point condition. While the servo 1 "on" and servo 2 "OFF" when pH value > 6.50 which resulted the addition of acid liquid that resulting decrease on pH of the liquid.

The active electrode supplies a negative DC voltage source. The center clamp angle of the active electrode has variations in the θ angles of 300, 450, and 600, and the distance variations between the active and passive electrodes (d) are 0.002 m, 0.005 m, and 0.008 m. The numerical formulation of the current value of the TBFA-P electrode configuration model uses Gauss's Law concept and the modified capacitance model by adding a multiplication factor k in the sharpness angle of the active electrode. This research proposes a system that helps display patient medical record data during the postpartum period. The system uses Cloud Computing (CC) technology for quick calculation of the classification of the nutritional status of infants during postpartum. Database management of nutritional status classification uses virtualization and Web Service (WS) who can manage the resources needed to support multitasking performance. The information obtained is then processed using the method Forward Chaining (FC) to model the patient's condition based on variables of vital signs and classification of nutritional status of children based on Anthropometry Index. The system created has advantages over previous research, using Cloud Computing (CC) Platform as a Service (PaaS) technology. This system is faster and more efficient in reading the monitoring area for classification of infant nutritional status. Data calculation simulations show the initial results that the output obtained is as expected.

The purpose of this research is to know the endemic area of dengue fever by using AHP and SMARTER method. AHP method is used to define the priority criteria, and SMARTER method is used to determine the final weight of criteria based on Rank Order Centroid (ROC) calculation. The result of research using AHP and SMARTER method get the rank order. The alternative ranks are rank 1 with the highest weight of 0.572 is Tembalang subdistrict. The lowest weight of 0.367 is Tugu and Mijen subdistricts. Alternatives with the highest Weight become the first priority in obtaining policies to cope with dengue cases. After that, followed by the rank order below because priority to tackle dengue fever case is done based on the order of ranking of each alternative.
