They comprise 43% of the world's agricultural labor force, which rises to 70% in some countries. In Africa, 80% of the agricultural production comes from small farmers, who are mostly rural women. The international development community has recognized that agriculture is an engine of growth and poverty reduction in countries where it is the main occupation of the poor. Women make essential contributions to the agricultural and rural economies in all developing c0untries. Their roles vary considerably between and within regions and are changing rapidly in many parts of the world, where economic and social forces are transforming the agricultural sector. Rural women often manage complex households and pursue multiple livelihood strategies. The purpose of this study was to compare the competitional anxiety among runners, jumpers and thr... more The purpose of this study was to compare the competitional anxiety among runners, jumpers and throwers between male and female athlete. MethodologyOne hundred twenty subjects both male and female of U.P. state who have represented state athletic championship, these were divided into three groups i.e. runners, jumpers and throwers. SCAT was used to measure sports competition anxiety. The Two way analysis of variance was used to measure the anxiety of female and male athlete with respect to runners, jumpers and throwers. Result: Analysis of variance for male and female was insignificant as obtained F-value 2.38 was lesser than the required value 3.92. Similarly, when different events of athlete like runners, jumpers and throwers were considered the F-value was found insignificant as obtained value 1.67 was lesser than the required value 3.07. Further interaction between gender and athlete was also insignificant as obtained F-value 0.72 was lower than the required 3.07 at 0.05 level.

It was hypothesized that there shall be any significant difference between means of sports morality of Allahabad, Sultanpur and Varanasi district physical education students. The study was delimited to the physical education students of SHIATS. It was further delimited to assessment of morality by using sports morality questionnaire of Dawn Slephae and David Layed Shield. Total forty five subjects from various districts are divided into three groups of fifteen students each as shown Group-I Allahabad, Group-II Sultanpur, and Group-III Varanasi. To compare the Sports Morality among physical education students of SHIATS, F test was applied at .05 level of significance. Mass media has a prominent role to play in modern society. It can bring about radical changes and improve social situation as it influences our social, civil, cultural, political, economic and aesthetic outlook. Modernization has converted media into an indispensable feature of human activity. However, factors like age, education, economic condition, personal needs and availability of proper components decide the quantum and frequency of media use. This is evident from the fact that most media centres are located in urban areas. The majority of consumers of media products are also concentrated in and around cities and towns.
