The studies, which began in the former USSR, cover the following aspects: 1) the severe technical duties and the main requirements for mechanisms and equipment operating in the field of oil and gas industries, especially the equipment operating in harsh environmental conditions such as extreme cold or hot ambient temperature 2) technical and economical reasons for replacing the induction motors (IMs) of distant sucker-rod oil pumps (SRPs) with the SBSM, (as reliable as IM), to save energy and improve stability and reliability while reducing harmful effects on the environment 3) a special approach during the SBSM design work to get the self-stabilizing cosϕ ≈ 1 effect under a wide range of cycling torque 4) practical implementations of the proposed designs in several oilfield experiments and computer-assisted electrodynamic lab model studies: IM and SBSM dynamic stability

The increasing trend in developing intelligent systems based on neural networks is attributed to their capability of learning nonlinear problems offline with selective training, which can lead to sufficiently accurate online response. Artificial neural networks have been used to solve many problems obtaining outstanding results in various application areas such as power systems. Power systems applications can benefit from such intelligent systems; particularly for voltage stabilization, where voltage instability in power distribution systems could lead to voltage collapse and thus power blackouts. This article presents an intelligent system which detects voltage instability and classifies voltage output of an assumed power distribution system (PDS) as: stable, unstable or overload. The nov...

Due to such requirements, ICUs have become widely established in hospitals. In most hospitals difficulty is that expert has to regularly visit the patient & asses his/her condition by measuring different parameters. These systems works when there is any emergency by using different wireless technologies. This paper is mainly based on continuous monitoring aspect of home patients. This requires a reliable, energy efficient patient monitoring system that can be able to send parameters of patient in real time. So the doctors can monitor patients parameters easily(temp, Pulse rate ,Blood Glucose). The major goal of the final proposed system is that it detects processes and sends patients data (temp, Pulse rate, Blood Glucose)over a wireless.

In this work simple and efficient methods for eliminating different branches of overload problem in power systems is presented. The methods are depending on the type of the overload that the system is suffered. Simulations have been carried out for medium voltage proposed circuit contains 15 buses using Matlab software program in order to show the effectiveness of the solution methods.
