In industry electrical energy becomes a necessity that cannot be separated from the production process. Due to the need for electrical energy sources, of course, a protection system is needed to maintain the continuity and stability of electrical energy from existing disturbances such as short circuit disturbances. To overcome the short circuit, OCR is used. To assist the process of calculating loadflow and short-circuit current, ETAP12.6 is used. The results of the analysis of the ETAP 12.6 will be compared with the data obtained in the field with the aim of analyzing whether the use of the ETAP 12.6 software in assisting calculations and analysis in the selection of OCR settings. The difference in ocr settings in the ETAP 12.6 and field data has a difference of less than 2%. This difference is relatively small and can still be used to help the process in selecting the OCR settings.

I... more This paper discusses the control of a stepper motor using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) methods. In this paper, the author presents two designs: one using a stepper motor controller with an astable multivibrator as a pulse generator and the other utilizing a microcontroller as the pulse generator. The design of the stepper motor controller with an astable multivibrator involves using the IC timer 555 to control the stepper motor speed and a latch circuit to control the direction of the stepper motor rotation. Meanwhile, the design of the stepper motor controller with a microcontroller employs the Arduino UNO R3 to control both the direction and speed of the stepper motor. Testing is conducted through a simulation of the system design using Proteus software. From the test results, it is observed that an increase in the PWM value leads to a faster rotation speed of the stepper motor, conversely, a decrease in PWM value results in a slower rotation speed of the stepper motor.

The system works by utilizing ultrasonic sensors to detect distance. The detected distance affects the rotational speed of the DC motor which is controlled by the Arduino UNO microcontroller. Fuzzy logic is applied to the Arduino UNO microcontroller in which distance as the input, and the rotational speed of the DC motor in the form of Pulse Width Modulation as the output. There are several classifications of distance: very close, close, normal, far and very far. In addition, there are several classifications in the motor rotational speed response: slow, very slow, medium, fast, and very fast. The design of the fuzzy logic system is carried out in the Arduino IDE application and MATLAB using the Mamdani method at the inference stage. Fuzzy logic system is run on the Arduino UNO microcontroller in which the simulation is carried out through Proteus application. The test results show that the largest percentage of errors/discrepancies between the Proteus system design and the MATLAB is 1.55%. In the future, this simulation can be applied to systems such as selfdriving cars.

One of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus is by regularly washing hands with soap for 20 seconds. With the pandemic conditions improving and the government lifting COVID restrictions, learning institutions can continue learning activities with the requirement that they obey strict health protocols. One of the private tutoring institutions in Tangerang that has resumed operations is Hikari Private Tutoring. With many people using the same facilities for educational activities, Hikari Private Tutoring is required to provide facilities for washing hands. Based on the inputs from Hikari Private Tutoring management, a touchless hand-washing facility was designed to minimize COVID-19 transmission. The hand washing facility also has an LCD to play videos of correct hand washing procedures and show how long the user has washed their hands. At the end of this activity, the manager and staff of Hikari Private Tutoring were asked to fill out a questionnaire. The results showed that they were satisfied with the functionality of the touchless hand-washing facilities. This handwashing facility can hopefully help educate the public, particularly the staff and students of Private Tutoring, on the correct technique to wash their hands and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Using stable power in the infrastructure network of Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) NODEs is a major c... more Using stable power in the infrastructure network of Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) NODEs is a major concern and a priority. A NODE is an active device that requires a supply of electrical energy to operate. The same applies to outdoor cabinets. This is where the active equipment of the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network is located. An outdoor cabinet as the location of active devices in the Fiber To The Home network becomes a system for efficient power consumption of the Fiber To The Home network in a hybrid fiber coaxial network. Electrical loads such as DC power systems, air conditioning (Aircond), optical line termination (OLT), and switches are the major electrical loads that require power in outdoor Fiber To The Home (FTTH) closets. Research suggests that FTTH networks are more energy efficient than HFC networks, using up to 70% less energy per user. This ongoing study focuses on demonstrating the impact of the network reconstruction conversion process on the power consumption efficiency of an existing network, Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC), to his FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network. And the savings in monthly electricity bills with continued use of HFC technology are about 16% of the monthly bill.

This research was obtained from PT. Benih Par Sada, based on the request of the building owner, wanted to try a developing control system at a relatively affordable price. In Indonesia, there are already several providers of IoT-based control equipment, with varying prices offered by these providers. Therefore, this analysis of the working system focuses on cost efficiency and functional similarities of the smart breaker equipment compared to the building automation system commonly implemented in buildings in Indonesia.

XYZ is an automotive manufacturing company that has been working as a supplier of automotive parts to several company in Indonesia. Most of the production line is already good enough, but there is one of their sub product that has problems in their production process. The sub product is muffler K-59J. There are problems on its production line such as bottleneck, overtime. Another problem can be seen from the data, that its line efficiency is only 58,81 %. Thus, this study aims to improve the performance of the production line. Therefore, a computerized Genetic Algorithm method is proposed to improve its performance. The Genetic Algorithm process is made using matlab software. In the process, several stages are carried out starting from making a genetic representation, selecting parents, making the recombination and mutation process, and regenerating the population. But in this study, the generate population process is filtered into the two process. So the output of the population is already qualified for the line balancing requirements. From the results of the Genetic Algorithm method, it is found that the efficiency of the path is 74.07 % with a total of 18 work stations. thus the value of the efficiency of the path was successfully increased by 15.26%.

This paper proposes OMA3S-based Cognitive Artificial-Intelligence method for interpreting Transformer Condition, which is calculated based on maintenance data from Indonesia National Electric Company (PLN). First, the proposed method is tested using the previously published data, and then followed by implementation on maintenance data. Maintenance data are fused to obtain part condition, and part conditions are fused to obtain transformer condition. Result shows proposed method is valid for DGA fault identification with the average accuracy of 91.1%. The proposed method not only can interpret the major fault, it can also identify the minor fault occurring along with the major fault, allowing early warning feature. Result also shows part conditions can be interpreted using information fusion on maintenance data, and the transformer condition can be interpreted using information fusion on part conditions. The future works on this research is to gather more data, to elaborate more factors to be fused, and to design a cognitive processor that can be used to implement this concept of intelligent instrumentation.

The research was conducted in Metropolitan Area of Jakarta, Indonesia. One hundred and twenty five subjects (60 male and 65 female) age between 18 - 23 years old were participated. Sixty anthropometric data of the subject were measured by using anthroscan, the most update and high-tech instrument. The mean, standard deviation (SD) and percentile values for each body dimensions were calculated and presented. Results of t-test showed that the stature of Indonesian subjects in this study agreed with previous study in 2010 for both male and female. Stature comparisons with population from other nationalities showed that Indonesian population in this study are taller than some Asian countries, but shorter than population from European country and USA. In addition, design implication regarding anthropometric database in this study was also discussed.
