Cloud climate is adopting minimum overhead with capable usage of available resources and allocating maximum resources to the processing unit. The scheduling of virtual machine uses the technique for allocating different time varying slots to cloud climate and data center. Cloud climate provides the facility for many clients to use the services of cloud based data environment therefore virtual machine is widely used for scheduling of task on multi core systems as scheduling enhances the performance of system and reducing the cost and provide efficient resource allocation. In this research paper various scheduling techniques are consider for virtual machine and different resource allocating techniques are presented. In this paper a technique is proposed that provid...

Research paper thumbnail of Future Telecom Markets and Strategy to Cope with the Change

Multimedia intensive (converging video, voice and data) and peer to peer applications have increased the number of services running on same infrastructure. Internet Protocol (IP) has revolutionized the telecom network providing uniform interface and a separation between infrastructure and services. Present day telecom markets around the world consist of operators organized as vertically integrated silos because the local telephone industry was always thought to be naturally prone to monopoly due to scale and scope economies. The evolution of multiple services on same network is changing the whole buildup of telecom markets. This paper intends to observe the effects of this evolution on market structure and propose strategy for telecom operators to cope with new market structure. The target of the paper is to apply Transaction Cost Economics (TCE) to study the effects of above said factor. TCE has been applied to study issues relating vertical integration in many fields. IP and the Internet create a large variety of services. Earlier the bandwidth was used only for voice so its specificity was high. Introduction of multiple services using the same bandwidth has lowered bandwidth specificity. Basic transaction cost model presented by Williamson is extended to observe the effects of aforementioned factor to the organization structure of telecommunication firms. The decrease in bandwidth specificity will increase the market procurement range. A mathematical model is developed to observe this effect. It has been observed that this effect favor market procurement to internal supply. Hence future telecommunication markets will be gradually divided into two groups. One group will consist of bandwidth providers and the other will consist of service providers. To get maximum benefit from this theory, the bigger company has to disintegrate or at least divide into two sub companies. One that is only concerned with selling bandwidth and access to others and second that is concerned with service creation, management and marketing.

During last 10 years, the pace of competition in local telephony market has been very slow. Baby Bells still hold a strong dominance and a near monopoly position. They have even spread their monopoly to long distance market by mergers and acquisitions. This shows the failure of the Act. Local monopoly breaking policy, vertical reintegration, universal service and UNE pricing are the major reasons of this failure. Local loop is a natural monopoly and further investment by multiple companies is not efficient. Idea of universal service should be dropped.

Some industrial units can bear voltage fluctuation up to some extent like motors but control & instrumentation sections are very sensitive. Voltage regulators are very important for industrial and residential uses. The proposed voltage regulator is buck boost converter based which is very compact as these converters are designed using inductor, capacitor and switching devices like Insulated-gate bipolar Transistor (IGBT). Also fuzzy logic controller is AI based and provides better control of the system. Our proposed system is compact, cost effective, durable & efficient in keeping output voltage at a constant level. The concept of automatic voltage regulator (AVR) with fuzzy logic technique has been presented to handle the mentioned problem. The proposed fuzzy controller based AVR will have the capability of delivering sinusoidal output current with good output voltage regulation. The proposed topology has also reduced conversion losses. So a buck boost converter deployment has been proposed with fuzzy controller. The proposed system is designed and tested under different conditions. Under Sag and Swell conditions, the system has maintained constant output voltage. This acts as an AC boost converter when the utility voltage is lower than the specified voltage. On the contrary, this acts as an AC buck converter when the utility voltage is higher than the specified voltage. The AVR maintains power for both sides with the help of AC buck and boost converter. Hence, the size is decreased, the cost is reduced, and the life of the power convertor is extended. THD during source induced Sag condition is 0.77%, during normal operation it is upto 0.70 %, during load induced Sag it is 2.06% and Swell condition it is 2.11%. All these values are within the standard IEEE rating of 5% THD.
