Based on morphological, anatomical, sporological and ecological investigations, it is possible to distinguish this species from the well-known one in northern Iran, O. vulgatum L. Its discovery in a submountain area o f Langerud, Gilan province, represents an extension o f its pliytogeographical range in eastern Eurasia. Geographical distribution and characteristic details o f the species as well as a concrete comparison with O. vulgatum is presented.

Stipitata is described, Alyssum stipitatum is designated as the type. Alyssum m ozaffarian ii, A. stipitatum and Farsetia assadii are described as new species, Alyssum argenteum, A. callichroum, A. condensatum, A. harputicum, A. obtusifolium, A. sibiricum, A. singarense, Farsetia longisiliqua and F. stylosa are reported as new records to Iran.

Brazed joints underwent shear tests, light-microscopybased metallographic examinations and structural examinations using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). The highest quality and shear strength of 20 MPa was characteristic of joints brazed at 530°C with a 30-minute hold. The structural examinations revealed that in diffusion zone near the boundary with titanium the braze contained solid solutions based on hard and brittle Ti-Al type intermetallic phases determining the strength of the joints.

Gamosepalum Dudley) were studied by use the numerical Taxonomy analysis, for all Iranian species. Accordingly a character table included 32 qualitative and quantitative characters were made for 50 specimens of 10 Iranian species. After standardization of the data, a simplicity matrix was produced. Then a related dendrogeram was drawn by using the Monhatan coefficient and UPGMA method that in which two main clads of Connata and Libera series were distinguished. Finally the taxonomy of section was accepted and Libera series was divided to two Lepidote and Stellate subseries.

Gamosepalums was explored in terms of anatomical aspects. Transversal sections of peduncle belonging to 8 species of Alyssum sect. Gamosepalum have studied by qualitative and quantitative characters. The vascular bundle type was bicollateral in all species. In sum, anatomical properties were evaluated, and the two series of the section was supported and confirmed on the basis of these properties.

(Zagros series) was investigated seasonally during Sep.2011 to Oct.2012. Based on these more field investigation and comparative studies with herbarium materials, Ampelopsis aegirophylla were identified as a new record for Iran , this species only known from restricted localities in Pamir-Alaj and Afghanistan.

Alyssum hezarmasjedense Kavousi & Nazary (Brassicaceae) is described as a new species from Khorassan Province in northeastern Iran. The morphological characters of the sepals being dimorphic and appearing connate, with the inner surface indument, support the placement of the new species in Alyssum L. sect. Gamosepalum (Hausskn.) Dudley. The new species is closely related to A. misirdalianum Orcan & Binzet.

Floristic changes at Khersan Glacier Territory, Alamkuh Mountain, Central Alborz, North of Iran. Biodiversitas 17: 11-15. Extensive investigation in subnival-nival area aroundKhersan glacier moraine introduced 71 vascular plant species. From this list 43 species have been listed in Noroozi et al. (2011) in “subnival-nival vascular plant species of Iran : a unique high mountain flora and its threat from climate warming†and the others are new for subnival-nival area of Iran. Among this plant list 31 species had introduced with Kotschy (1861a.), Bornmuller  (1906), Melchior (1937), Klein (1982), European researchers and the other is named for the first time from Khersan glacier territory. Many species suchas Astragalus macrosemius, Pseudocamelina kleinii, Crepis multicaulis subsp. congesta, Didymophysa fedtschenkoana and Drabamelanopus due to glacier condition have very sensitive habitat, vulnerable and only...
