The paper will look at the effect in GDP, unemployment, and inflation spheres. The research of the refugee effect devides unemployment to education levels and analyzes how refugees caused unemployment for each level of education. The research is based on regression models and the data used in this paper is time series data which includes years from 2001 to 2017. Since Syrians started flowing in the country from 2011, the data fits time well. Therefore, the paper creates a clear vision of how refugee effect has been on the Turkish economy.

The research is done on econometric model considering all the countries in last 25 years. After getting results on general level, the paper focuses on regional level of the issue. Two regions, Middle East, and Europe are focused in this research and were come out with useful findings
