The objective of the research was to study the potential of land resources for growing horticulture crops at Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. Soil survey and laboratory analysis were used in this research. The parameters of soil characteristics observed were soil morphology in the fields, and physical and chemical properties. The results showed that the lands of Manggis District classified into 'suitable enough' until 'very suitable' for growing horticulture crops. The limited factors were root medium; nutrient retention and terrains.

This study aims to find the most effective formulation of the gaharu agar wood forming fungi inoc... more This study aims to find the most effective formulation of the gaharu agar wood forming fungi inoculants which infect Gyrinops versteegii plants, thus producing high quality agar wood. The method used in this research is the randomized block design (RBD) with three replication. The treatments were two fungi as inoculant applied saperately each and a combination of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium sp. in the form of solid and liquid. The treatments tested were: (A) Fusarium solani fungi inoculant in solid form, (B) Rhisopus sp.fungi inoculant in solid form, (C) Mixture of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants in solid form, (D) Fusarium solani fungi inoculant in liquid form, (E) Rhisopus sp.fungi inoculants in liquid form, (F) Mixture of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants in liquid form, and (G) A combination of solid and liquid of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants. The parameters measured were the agar wood formed: agar wood fragrance level, color of agar wood and resin content of the agar wood. Furthermore, the data is analyzed statistically by analysis of variance. The results showed that, treatments of inoculants formulations significantly affects the aroma and resin content of agar wood. Formula of G (a combination of solid and liquid Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants) and F (a combination of liquid Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants) produced agar wood of the highest quality compared to other formulas. Formula G and F produced each agar wood with black and blackish-brown colour, with strong aroma (fragrance), and a resin content of 7.69% and 6.98%.

Content of Essential Oils as Raw Materials for Medicine from Agarwood Plants (Gyrinops versteegii... more Content of Essential Oils as Raw Materials for Medicine from Agarwood Plants (Gyrinops versteegii) in Various Soil Conditions. Essential oil is one of the processed agarwood (Gyrinops versteegii) which is useful in the basic ingredients of perfume, cosmetics, and medicines. The purpose of this study was to determine the volume and chemical composition of essential oils in agarwood plants in different land conditions. This research was conducted through a hydrodestillation process and chemical component analysis using a Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrophotometer (GCMS). The materials used are samples of agarwood from different lands, namely: A (agarwood on land with Regosol in Klungkung Regency) and B (agarwood on land with Latosol in Tabanan Regency). The specimens of agarwood consisted of: (1) Sapwood, (2) Kemedangan. The results showed that the essential oil content of the sapwood and kemedangan agarwood from Tabanan was higher than that of the sap and kemedangan agarwood from Klungkung.

The result of this short course conducted in Dusun Menunggul on 23 Agustus 2015 with 45 attendants was ecxiting because most farmers were interested in the course substances and materials training, they understand and be able how to treat and apply Biota L and Persada for seedling of banana plant.

The Randomized Block Design (RBD) was arranged with three replications and nine treatments. The treatments namely : A (400 ml biourine L-1 water + 0 kg SP-36 ha-1), B (350 ml biourine L-1 water + 25 kg SP-36 ha-1), C (300 ml biourine L 1 water + 50 kg SP-36 ha-1), D (250 ml biourine L-1 water + 75 kg SP-36 ha), E (200 ml biourine L-1 water + 100 kg SP-36 ha-1), F (150 ml biourine L-1 water) + 125 kg SP-36 ha-1 , G (100 ml biourine L-1 water + 150 kg SP-36 ha-1), H (50 ml biourine L-1 water + 175 kg SP-36 ha-1), I (0 ml biourine L-1 water + 200 kg SP-36 ha-1). The statistical analysis showed the treatments had significant effects on the variable of the weight of grain dry oven, 12% of water-containing weight of grain, and estimation of yields of 12% of water-containing weight of grain per hectar, but not significant to the number of nodule, height of plant, weight of plant, and weight of grains at post harvest. The highest yields of soybean was found on E treatment (37,30 ku ha 1).

The purpose of this programme was improving society skill on making organic fertilizers.The methods of programme were : !) giving counseling to livestock farmers who merged into group of Livestock Sari Buana about : environmental contamination problem by waste of livestock of cattle and pig, and way of the settlement of disposal 2) Training of making organic fertilizers (compost) having quality from waste of ranch of cattle and pig. The study is aimed to explore the microbial isolates of agarwood (gubal gaharu)-forming plant alo... more The study is aimed to explore the microbial isolates of agarwood (gubal gaharu)-forming plant aloes on ketimunan plant (Gyrinops verstegii). The study was coducted from June to October 2008 in the Laboratory of Soil Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Udayana. The method used in this study were: the isolation of microbes with PDA medium, inoculation of isolate into ketimunan plants, evaluating the success of inoculation (injection). Parameters measured were: the color of mold, the color of agarwood/kemedangan, long agarwood, and the level of the smell of agarwood/kemedangan. The results showed that there were 14 species of fungi that able to form agarwood aloes on the plant ketimunan. All of these fungus were able to cause agarwood/kemedangan fragrant aloes, but the level of fragrance varies from slightly fragrant, fragrant, until very fragrant.

Optimizing Integrated Farming System to Maximize Farmers’ Income This study aims to find out the ... more Optimizing Integrated Farming System to Maximize Farmers’ Income This study aims to find out the optimal model of integrated farming system (SIMANTRI) development in farmers’ group of SIMANTRI 074, Jemberana Regency. Primary data by using survey method collected from 20 farmers of the group and secondary data gathered from any sources were used to specify parameters of the model. Linear programming analysis by using software BLPX88 is to solve constrained optimization problem in the model. A small farmer, which his farm size is 0.48 hectare, was optimal in allocating resources to conduct many farm activities under the SIMANTRI indicated byfrom optimal solution of the model which conforms to observed behavior. The maximum farmers’ income, generated from the optimizing process was Rp26,041,250 per annum.

Agarwood is one of non-timber forest product comodites (NTFPs) which has high economic value and ... more Agarwood is one of non-timber forest product comodites (NTFPs) which has high economic value and as an export commodity. Agarwood produce an aromatic resin substance in the form of lumps that located between the wood cells in various shapes and colors. According to Indonesian National Standards, the category of agarwood is classified into several levels such as agarwood sapwood, kemedangan, and agarwood powder. The classification system is based on color, weight, and aroma. This classification method shows that the current quality of agarwood welding systems is still subjective. Therefore, more objective welding system is needed which is related to the chemical composition and resin content. This study objective is to identify the chemical components of agarwood sapwood from the results of fungal inoculation in agarwood-producing plants of gyrinops versteegii. The research conducted by extracting agarwood sapwood sample using acetone. This agarwood sapwood sample collected from the result of Fusarium, Rhizopus and Trichoderma fungi inoculation for 1 year. Furthermore, the agarwood acetone extract fractionated with a gradient column chromatography with hexane-ethyl acetate eluent. The method to identify the compounds/component is using chromatography gas-spectro-photometer mass (GC-MS). The results showed that the chemical components contained in agarwood from fungal inoculation were mostly in the form of ester compounds. The highest types compounds and the highest density compound were found in agarwood produced by Trichoderma fungi inoculant, namely Hexanedioic acid, dioctyl ester; 11-octadecanoic acid, methyl ester; Cyclopropanedodecanoic acid, 2-octyl-, methyl ester; 9-octadecanoic acid, methyl ester; Octadecanoic acid, 9.10dihydroxy-, methyl ester; Cyclopropanepentanoic acid, 2-undecyl-, methyl ester; Pentadecanoic acid, 14-methyl-, methyl ester; and non-ester compounds, namely: 2-tridecen-I-ol; 2-(2 ', 4', 4 ', 6', 6 ', 8', 8'Heptamethyltetrasiloxan-2 '; 3-Hydroxybutanamide. 8methoxy-2-(2.

The research at Penatih Dangin Puri Village, aims to classify and mapping the soil at Penatih Dangin Puri Village based on Soil Taxonomy System up to soil family category. This research was using soil survey method at the field to observed soil morphology, soil test at laboratory for the properties of physical, chemical, and clay fraction mineralogy. Soil classification was conducted until soil family category, semi detailed soil mapping with the scale of 1 : 25.000. The result of soil classification showed that the soil at Penatih Dangin Puri Village is classified into the order of Inceptisol and Mollisols, sub-order of Aquepts and Udolls, great group of Epiaquepts and Hapludolls, sub-group of Typic Epiaquepts, Typic Hapludolls, and Aeric Epiaquepts, family of Typic Epiaquepts, very fine, mixed, isohyperthermic; Typic Hapludolls, fine, mixed, isohyperthermic and Aeric Epiaquepts, fine-loamy, mixed, isohyperthermic. Semi detailed soil mapping with the scale of 1: 25.000 at Penatih Dangin Puri Village generates 5 SPT (Soil Mapping Unit), namely: 1) Association of Typic Epiaquepts, very fine, mixed, isohyperthermic with Aeric Epiaquepts, fine-loamy, mixed, isohyperthermic; 2) Typic Epiaquepts, very fine, mixed, isohyperthermic; 3) Typic Hapludolls, fine, mixed, isohyperthermic; 4) Typic Hapludolls, fine, mixed, isohyperthermic; and 5) Typic Hapludolls, fine, mixed, isohyperthermic.

A study of fertilizer formulation (organic + inorganic) to increase the formation of sapwood (gub... more A study of fertilizer formulation (organic + inorganic) to increase the formation of sapwood (gubal) on agarwood plants (Gyrinops versteegii), had done to find the best fertilizer formulation that capable of increase and accelerate either growth and agarwood formation of sapwood on agarwood trees. The first year of study was conducted in Marga Tabanan Village. The field research was Randomized Block Designed (3 groups) with single factor of treatment. The tested treatment were 6 formulation of compound fertilizers and a control (unfertilized treatment). The compound fertlizers consisted of urea, SP-36, KCl, local compost, and dolomite in varying doses. The fertilizer formulations were applied on 21 agarwood trees that previously inoculated with mixed inoculant of Fusarium solani and Rhisopus sp. Three months after inoculation, the data from the following parameters were measured and statistically analyzed: plant height, stem circumference, sapwood weight, resin content and soil chemical properties.The results showed that the tested fertilizer compound had significant effect on plant height, sapwood weight, and resin rendement. No significant effect of fertilizer compound measured on the stem circumference. The highest sapwood weights was obtained on C treatment (14.39 g). The highest resin yield was obtained on B treatment (3.91%) which was relatively the same as that on C treatment (3.85%). Thus, the best fertilizer formulation for either plant growth, agarwood formation or agarwood resin was C treatment (100 g urea + 100 g SP-36 + 100 g KCl) + (7.5 kg compost) + (75 g Dolomite) per tree.

This study aim is to determine the effect of the application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation o... more This study aim is to determine the effect of the application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation of sapwood formed on agarwood plants at three specific locations in Tabanan Regency. This research is a factorial experiment with basic CRD design (completely randomized design). The first factor is location specific consisting of 3 location namely: Pupuan Subdistrict (Pu), Penebel Subdistrict (Pnl), and District of East Selemadeg (Sl). The second factor was the treatment of the Gaharu-C formula fertilizer consisting of 2 ie: 0 (without fertilizer), and C (Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation: 100 g urea + 100 g SP-36 + 100 g KCl) + (7.5 kg compost) + (75 g dolomite) per tree), each treatment replicated three times. Number of plants used as many as 18 trees. Parameters observed included increased stem diameter, sapwood color, weight of sapwood, resin content and soil chemical properties data. Data analysis used variance analysis and LCD test (α= 0.05). The results showed that specific-location factors had significant effect on increasing stem diameter. However, had no significant effect on the color of sapwood, sapwood weight and resin level of sapwood. The fertilizer factor of Gaharu-C formula has no significant effect on all parameters observed. The highest increase of stem diameter was obtained at Pupuan location (0.40 cm), followed by East Selemadeg (0.32 cm), and the lowest Penebel (0.15 cm). The weight of sapwood and the highest resin content was obtained at the Sl C treatment of 5.34 g and 6.43%. The best application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation is in East Selemadeg Subdistrict.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan rekontruksi tari tradisi bumbung gebyog menja... more Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan rekontruksi tari tradisi bumbung gebyog menjadi seni pertunjukan bagi wisatawan di Desa wisata Pinge, Kecamatan Marga, Kabupaten Tabanan. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Kordinasi dan komunikasi secara partisipasif dengan desa adat/pengola desa wisata Pinge untuk merumuskan program mulai dari perencanaan, operasional dan evaluasi; (2) mengumpulkan informasi tentang tarian bumbung gebyog dari pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam kesenian bumbung gebyog dimasa lalu; (3) kontruksi gerakan tari dan koreografi pertunjukkan bumbung gebyog; (4) Pendampingan yaitu pertemuan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan antara pendamping dengan masyarakat sasaran hingga ipteks yang dialihkan dapat dilaksanakan secara mandiri oleh masyarakat. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan rekontruksi tarian bumbung gebyog sudah bejalan dengan ditandai oleh penguasaan penari dan pemain gambelan yang cukup baik. Setelah 9 (sebilan) kali pertemuan seluruh penari sudah mampu mempraktekan gerakan tari secara mandiri. Begitu pula dengan ketrampilan personel penabuh, seluruh penabuh telah mampu memainkan nada tari yang dilatihkan sesuai dengan instrumen masing-masing. Tarian bumbumbung gebyog hasil rekontruksi sudah dipentaskan pada acara pencanganan Desa Wisata yang dihadiri oleh menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN).

Soil survey methods and laboratory analysis were used in this research. The parameters of soil characteristics were observed i.e. soil morphology in the fields, physical and chemical, and mineralogical properties. Soil classification was done based on Soil Taxonomy system by using Keys to Soil Taxonomy (2003). Soil characteristics were: soil colour was dark bown, solum depth was deep (>100 cm),CEC was high, base saturation was high, and had a good soil fertility.Based on Soil Taxonomy system, the soil families were Typic Hapludands, ashy, isohyperthermic. The land suitability was suitable enough for coffea and salacca.

This study aimed to find out the agarwood producing fungal inoculant formulation that infect Keti... more This study aimed to find out the agarwood producing fungal inoculant formulation that infect Ketimunan tree (Gyrinops versteegii DOMKE) effectively and resulted in high quality of agarwood. Randomized Completely Block Design was applied in this study with formulation of Fusarium solani and Rhizopus sp inoculant in liquid and solid form were combined as treatments. Treatments were: solid Fusarium solani inoculant, solid Rhizopus sp inoculant, mixture of solid Fusarium solani inoculant and solid Rhizopus sp inoculant, liquid Fusarium solani inoculant, liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant, mixture of liquid Fusarium solani inoculant and liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant, and mixture of solid and liquid of Fusarium solani and Rhizopus sp inoculants. There are three replicates for each treatment. Parameters measured were level of fragrance, agarwood color, and its resin content. The result showed that all formulations affected resin content significantly compared to control of agarwood. Mixture of liquid Fusarium solani and liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant showed the best quality agarwood with quality characteristics: brownish black or agarwood with black and brownishblack color, very strong fragrance, and with 13.58% resin content.

Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan lahan sebagai salah satu komponen pengelolaan teknologi pertanian diperlukan dalam sistem pertanian berkelanjutan. Penelitian di TMB-59, Desa Tembok, daerah pesisir Bali bagian utara dilakukan secara purposif dengan pertimbangan bahwa petani di TMB-59 menyelenggarakan sistem usahatani campuran berbasiskan irigasi air tanah. Analisis difokuskan pada kesesuaian lahan, kesuburan tanah, pendugaan erosi dan pengelolaan nutrisi tanah. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) status kesuburan lahan usahatani di TMB-59 tergolong rendah sehingga hanya memiliki kesesuaian marginal untuk tanaman jagung, ubi kayu, kacang tanah, ubi jalar, melon, cabai, pisang, jambu mete, kelapa, dan lontar, serta cukup sesuai untuk tanaman mangga, pepaya, dan rumput sebagai pakan ternak; (2) Tingkat erosi tanah di TMB-59 tergolong sangat ringan dan jauh lebih kecil daripada tingkat erosi yang diperbolehkan sehingga tidak diperlukan tindakan konservasi di daerah tersebut; dan (3) kebutuhan pupuk kandang untuk berbagai tanaman di TMB-59 sekitar 342 ton per tahun tetapi baru tersedia sekitar 202,74 ton dari populasi sapi, babi, kambing dan ayam di daerah tersebut. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, direkomendasikan bahwa (1) perlu penambahan bahan organik yang cukup untuk meningkatkan status kesuburan tanah dan produktivitas lahan, (2) walaupun tidak perlu tindakan konservasi, pemeliharaan tanah diperlukan untuk mengantisipasi erosi tanah yang lebih tinggi, dan (3) petani di TMB-59 disarankan tetap melaksanakan usahatani campuran dengan meningkatkan jumlah ternak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pupuk kandang yang lebih tinggi dari berbagai jenis tanaman yang diusahakan.

Soil survey and laboratory analysis were used in this research. The parameters of soil characteristics observed were soil morphology in the fields, and physical and chemical properties. The results showed that the lands of Manggis District classified into 'suitable enough' until 'very suitable' for growing horticulture crops. The limited factors were root medium; nutrient retention and terrains.

The method used in this research is the randomized block design (RBD) with three replication. The treatments were two fungi as inoculant applied saperately each and a combination of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium sp. in the form of solid and liquid. The treatments tested were: (A) Fusarium solani fungi inoculant in solid form, (B) Rhisopus sp.fungi inoculant in solid form, (C) Mixture of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants in solid form, (D) Fusarium solani fungi inoculant in liquid form, (E) Rhisopus sp.fungi inoculants in liquid form, (F) Mixture of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants in liquid form, and (G) A combination of solid and liquid of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants. The parameters measured were the agar wood formed: agar wood fragrance level, color of agar wood and resin content of the agar wood. Furthermore, the data is analyzed statistically by analysis of variance. The results showed that, treatments of inoculants formulations significantly affects the aroma and resin content of agar wood. Formula of G (a combination of solid and liquid Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants) and F (a combination of liquid Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants) produced agar wood of the highest quality compared to other formulas. Formula G and F produced each agar wood with black and blackish-brown colour, with strong aroma (fragrance), and a resin content of 7.69% and 6.98%.

The treatments namely : A (400 ml biourine L-1 water + 0 kg SP-36 ha-1), B (350 ml biourine L-1 water + 25 kg SP-36 ha-1), C (300 ml biourine L 1 water + 50 kg SP-36 ha-1), D (250 ml biourine L-1 water + 75 kg SP-36 ha), E (200 ml biourine L-1 water + 100 kg SP-36 ha-1), F (150 ml biourine L-1 water) + 125 kg SP-36 ha-1 , G (100 ml biourine L-1 water + 150 kg SP-36 ha-1), H (50 ml biourine L-1 water + 175 kg SP-36 ha-1), I (0 ml biourine L-1 water + 200 kg SP-36 ha-1). The statistical analysis showed the treatments had significant effects on the variable of the weight of grain dry oven, 12% of water-containing weight of grain, and estimation of yields of 12% of water-containing weight of grain per hectar, but not significant to the number of nodule, height of plant, weight of plant, and weight of grains at post harvest. The highest yields of soybean was found on E treatment (37,30 ku ha 1).

The study was coducted from June to October 2008 in the Laboratory of Soil Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Udayana. The method used in this study were: the isolation of microbes with PDA medium, inoculation of isolate into ketimunan plants, evaluating the success of inoculation (injection). Parameters measured were: the color of mold, the color of agarwood/kemedangan, long agarwood, and the level of the smell of agarwood/kemedangan. The results showed that there were 14 species of fungi that able to form agarwood aloes on the plant ketimunan. All of these fungus were able to cause agarwood/kemedangan fragrant aloes, but the level of fragrance varies from slightly fragrant, fragrant, until very fragrant.

Primary data by using survey method collected from 20 farmers of the group and secondary data gathered from any sources were used to specify parameters of the model. Linear programming analysis by using software BLPX88 is to solve constrained optimization problem in the model. A small farmer, which his farm size is 0.48 hectare, was optimal in allocating resources to conduct many farm activities under the SIMANTRI indicated byfrom optimal solution of the model which conforms to observed behavior. The maximum farmers’ income, generated from the optimizing process was Rp26,041,250 per annum.

Agarwood is one of non-timber forest product comodites (NTFPs) which has high economic value and ... more Agarwood is one of non-timber forest product comodites (NTFPs) which has high economic value and as an export commodity. Agarwood produce an aromatic resin substance in the form of lumps that located between the wood cells in various shapes and colors. According to Indonesian National Standards, the category of agarwood is classified into several levels such as agarwood sapwood, kemedangan, and agarwood powder. The classification system is based on color, weight, and aroma. This classification method shows that the current quality of agarwood welding systems is still subjective. Therefore, more objective welding system is needed which is related to the chemical composition and resin content. This study objective is to identify the chemical components of agarwood sapwood from the results of fungal inoculation in agarwood-producing plants of gyrinops versteegii. The research conducted by extracting agarwood sapwood sample using acetone. This agarwood sapwood sample collected from the result of Fusarium, Rhizopus and Trichoderma fungi inoculation for 1 year. Furthermore, the agarwood acetone extract fractionated with a gradient column chromatography with hexane-ethyl acetate eluent. The method to identify the compounds/component is using chromatography gas-spectro-photometer mass (GC-MS). The results showed that the chemical components contained in agarwood from fungal inoculation were mostly in the form of ester compounds. The highest types compounds and the highest density compound were found in agarwood produced by Trichoderma fungi inoculant, namely Hexanedioic acid, dioctyl ester; 11-octadecanoic acid, methyl ester; Cyclopropanedodecanoic acid, 2-octyl-, methyl ester; 9-octadecanoic acid, methyl ester; Octadecanoic acid, 9.10dihydroxy-, methyl ester; Cyclopropanepentanoic acid, 2-undecyl-, methyl ester; Pentadecanoic acid, 14-methyl-, methyl ester; and non-ester compounds, namely: 2-tridecen-I-ol; 2-(2 ', 4', 4 ', 6', 6 ', 8', 8'Heptamethyltetrasiloxan-2 '; 3-Hydroxybutanamide. 8methoxy-2-(2.

A study of fertilizer formulation (organic + inorganic) to increase the formation of sapwood (gub... more A study of fertilizer formulation (organic + inorganic) to increase the formation of sapwood (gubal) on agarwood plants (Gyrinops versteegii), had done to find the best fertilizer formulation that capable of increase and accelerate either growth and agarwood formation of sapwood on agarwood trees. The first year of study was conducted in Marga Tabanan Village. The field research was Randomized Block Designed (3 groups) with single factor of treatment. The tested treatment were 6 formulation of compound fertilizers and a control (unfertilized treatment). The compound fertlizers consisted of urea, SP-36, KCl, local compost, and dolomite in varying doses. The fertilizer formulations were applied on 21 agarwood trees that previously inoculated with mixed inoculant of Fusarium solani and Rhisopus sp. Three months after inoculation, the data from the following parameters were measured and statistically analyzed: plant height, stem circumference, sapwood weight, resin content and soil chemical properties.The results showed that the tested fertilizer compound had significant effect on plant height, sapwood weight, and resin rendement. No significant effect of fertilizer compound measured on the stem circumference. The highest sapwood weights was obtained on C treatment (14.39 g). The highest resin yield was obtained on B treatment (3.91%) which was relatively the same as that on C treatment (3.85%). Thus, the best fertilizer formulation for either plant growth, agarwood formation or agarwood resin was C treatment (100 g urea + 100 g SP-36 + 100 g KCl) + (7.5 kg compost) + (75 g Dolomite) per tree.

This study aim is to determine the effect of the application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation o... more This study aim is to determine the effect of the application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation of sapwood formed on agarwood plants at three specific locations in Tabanan Regency. This research is a factorial experiment with basic CRD design (completely randomized design). The first factor is location specific consisting of 3 location namely: Pupuan Subdistrict (Pu), Penebel Subdistrict (Pnl), and District of East Selemadeg (Sl). The second factor was the treatment of the Gaharu-C formula fertilizer consisting of 2 ie: 0 (without fertilizer), and C (Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation: 100 g urea + 100 g SP-36 + 100 g KCl) + (7.5 kg compost) + (75 g dolomite) per tree), each treatment replicated three times. Number of plants used as many as 18 trees. Parameters observed included increased stem diameter, sapwood color, weight of sapwood, resin content and soil chemical properties data. Data analysis used variance analysis and LCD test (α= 0.05). The results showed that specific-location factors had significant effect on increasing stem diameter. However, had no significant effect on the color of sapwood, sapwood weight and resin level of sapwood. The fertilizer factor of Gaharu-C formula has no significant effect on all parameters observed. The highest increase of stem diameter was obtained at Pupuan location (0.40 cm), followed by East Selemadeg (0.32 cm), and the lowest Penebel (0.15 cm). The weight of sapwood and the highest resin content was obtained at the Sl C treatment of 5.34 g and 6.43%. The best application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation is in East Selemadeg Subdistrict.

Metode yang diterapkan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Kordinasi dan komunikasi secara partisipasif dengan desa adat/pengola desa wisata Pinge untuk merumuskan program mulai dari perencanaan, operasional dan evaluasi; (2) mengumpulkan informasi tentang tarian bumbung gebyog dari pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam kesenian bumbung gebyog dimasa lalu; (3) kontruksi gerakan tari dan koreografi pertunjukkan bumbung gebyog; (4) Pendampingan yaitu pertemuan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan antara pendamping dengan masyarakat sasaran hingga ipteks yang dialihkan dapat dilaksanakan secara mandiri oleh masyarakat. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan rekontruksi tarian bumbung gebyog sudah bejalan dengan ditandai oleh penguasaan penari dan pemain gambelan yang cukup baik. Setelah 9 (sebilan) kali pertemuan seluruh penari sudah mampu mempraktekan gerakan tari secara mandiri. Begitu pula dengan ketrampilan personel penabuh, seluruh penabuh telah mampu memainkan nada tari yang dilatihkan sesuai dengan instrumen masing-masing. Tarian bumbumbung gebyog hasil rekontruksi sudah dipentaskan pada acara pencanganan Desa Wisata yang dihadiri oleh menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN).

Soil survey methods and laboratory analysis were used in this research. The parameters of soil characteristics were observed i.e. soil morphology in the fields, physical and chemical, and mineralogical properties. Soil classification was done based on Soil Taxonomy system by using Keys to Soil Taxonomy (2003). Soil characteristics were: soil colour was dark bown, solum depth was deep (>100 cm),CEC was high, base saturation was high, and had a good soil fertility.Based on Soil Taxonomy system, the soil families were Typic Hapludands, ashy, isohyperthermic. The land suitability was suitable enough for coffea and salacca.

This study aimed to find out the agarwood producing fungal inoculant formulation that infect Keti... more This study aimed to find out the agarwood producing fungal inoculant formulation that infect Ketimunan tree (Gyrinops versteegii DOMKE) effectively and resulted in high quality of agarwood. Randomized Completely Block Design was applied in this study with formulation of Fusarium solani and Rhizopus sp inoculant in liquid and solid form were combined as treatments. Treatments were: solid Fusarium solani inoculant, solid Rhizopus sp inoculant, mixture of solid Fusarium solani inoculant and solid Rhizopus sp inoculant, liquid Fusarium solani inoculant, liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant, mixture of liquid Fusarium solani inoculant and liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant, and mixture of solid and liquid of Fusarium solani and Rhizopus sp inoculants. There are three replicates for each treatment. Parameters measured were level of fragrance, agarwood color, and its resin content. The result showed that all formulations affected resin content significantly compared to control of agarwood. Mixture of liquid Fusarium solani and liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant showed the best quality agarwood with quality characteristics: brownish black or agarwood with black and brownishblack color, very strong fragrance, and with 13.58% resin content.

ABSTRAK Sistem pertanaman intensif bisa mengarah pada trade-off antara manfaat ekonomi dalam jang... more ABSTRAK Sistem pertanaman intensif bisa mengarah pada trade-off antara manfaat ekonomi dalam jangka pendek dan kerusakan lingkungan seperti degradasi kesuburan tanah dalam jangka panjang. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan lahan sebagai salah satu komponen pengelolaan teknologi pertanian diperlukan dalam sistem pertanian berkelanjutan. Penelitian di TMB-59, Desa Tembok, daerah pesisir Bali bagian utara dilakukan secara purposif dengan pertimbangan bahwa petani di TMB-59 menyelenggarakan sistem usahatani campuran berbasiskan irigasi air tanah. Analisis difokuskan pada kesesuaian lahan, kesuburan tanah, pendugaan erosi dan pengelolaan nutrisi tanah. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) status kesuburan lahan usahatani di TMB-59 tergolong rendah sehingga hanya memiliki kesesuaian marginal untuk tanaman jagung, ubi kayu, kacang tanah, ubi jalar, melon, cabai, pisang, jambu mete, kelapa, dan lontar, serta cukup sesuai untuk tanaman mangga, pepaya, dan rumput sebagai pakan ternak; (2) Tingkat erosi tanah di TMB-59 tergolong sangat ringan dan jauh lebih kecil daripada tingkat erosi yang diperbolehkan sehingga tidak diperlukan tindakan konservasi di daerah tersebut; dan (3) kebutuhan pupuk kandang untuk berbagai tanaman di TMB-59 sekitar 342 ton per tahun tetapi baru tersedia sekitar 202,74 ton dari populasi sapi, babi, kambing dan ayam di daerah tersebut. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, direkomendasikan bahwa (1) perlu penambahan bahan organik yang cukup untuk meningkatkan status kesuburan tanah dan produktivitas lahan, (2) walaupun tidak perlu tindakan konservasi, pemeliharaan tanah diperlukan untuk mengantisipasi erosi tanah yang lebih tinggi, dan (3) petani di TMB-59 disarankan tetap melaksanakan usahatani campuran dengan meningkatkan jumlah ternak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pupuk kandang yang lebih tinggi dari berbagai jenis tanaman yang diusahakan.

Essential oil is one of the processed agarwood (Gyrinops versteegii) which is useful in the basic ingredients of perfume, cosmetics, and medicines. The purpose of this study was to determine the volume and chemical composition of essential oils in agarwood plants in different land conditions. This research was conducted through a hydrodestillation process and chemical component analysis using a Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrophotometer (GCMS). The materials used are samples of agarwood from different lands, namely: A (agarwood on land with Regosol in Klungkung Regency) and B (agarwood on land with Latosol in Tabanan Regency).
