As an essential computer vision problem, SOD has increasingly attracted the researchers’ interest over the years. While a lot of SOD models and applications have been proposed, there is still a lack of deep understanding of the issues and achievements. A comprehensive study on the recent techniques of SOD is provided in this paper. Precisely, this paper presents a review of SOD techniques from various perspectives. Various image segmentation techniques are presented such as segmentation based on machine learning or deep learning, the second perspective concentrates on classifying them into supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and the last one based on manual approach, semi-automatic approach, and fully automatic approach and so on. Then, the paper presents a summarization of datasets used for SOD...

Patient and Methods: The 300 breast cancer patients all have NSM for the therapy of multicentric breast cancer. The primary end point was tumor recurrence post NSM either was local, regional or metastatic recurrence and, the Secondary end point for this study is to report disease free survival, loco-regional control and overall survival. Results: All cases were multicentric invasive duct carcinoma, 6 cases (33.3%) were reported to have distant metastases to lung and bone and 12 cases (66.7%) were reported to have local recurrence within nipple areola complex, among reported recurrence cases the interval time between primary treatment and recurrence was 28 months in 6 cases (33.3%), 43 months in 6 cases (33.3%) and 50 months in 6 cases (33.3%). Among 300 cases that did NSM, 6 cases (2%) died from heavy lung metastases and 294 cases (98%) still alive within period of follow up ranging from 40-96 months. Conclusion: This study revealed a low incidence of cancer recurrence at the NAC after NSM and immediate breast reconstruction. Patients with high stage disease, HER2 positive subtype, high grade lesions and extensive intraductal component had a significantly increased risk of cancer recurrence at the NAC.

The exact etiology is unclear; one of the mostly accepted theories is the occurrence of an embryological insult occurring in a diamniotic monochorionic twin leading to asymmetrical division of the blastocyst mass. Commonly, they present in the infancy with clinical picture related to their mass effect. About 80% of cases are in the abdomen retroperitoneally. Case presentation We present two cases of this rare condition. The first case was for a 10-year-old girl that presented with anemia and abdominal mass, while the second case was for a 4-month-old boy that was diagnosed antenatally by ultrasound. Both cases had vertebrae, recognizable fetal organs, and skin coverage. Both had a distinct sac. The second case had a vascular connection with the host arising from the superior mesenteric artery. Both cases were intra-abdominal and showed normal levels of alpha-fetoprotein. Histopathological examination revealed elements from the t...

The process was carried out at room temperature in a high energy ball milling (attritor). The compositional effects on the amorphization process of the ball-milled were investigated. The X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) results indicated that zinc oxide was the residual phase after 10 hours of mechanical milling. The compositions play a significant role in powder morphology. The FT-IR sharp peaks are completely disappeared with higher lead oxide concentration. The formed glasses consist of chains of orthoand pentaborate groups.
