In the present study is an attempt is made to study the Anxiety and Mental Health of Employees of... more In the present study is an attempt is made to study the Anxiety and Mental Health of Employees of different Professions selected from Gulbarga District. The sample consists of 200 (of different professions, and gender) employees. The sample was administered with Anxiety and Mental Health Inventory. And the data were subjected the t-test. The results revealed that anxiety produces differences in mental health of employees and there is a significant difference in Mental Health between the male and female sample.

The sample of 120 (60 Boys and 60 Girls) students was chosen from Gulbarga district on whom the Emotional intelligence Scales were administered. After scoring, the data were subjected to t-test. The results revealed that there is significant difference in Emotional intelligence of the sample subgroups. The study also revealed significant gender differences in the amount of Emotional intelligence.

The sample consists of 180 students. The sample was administered with locus of control scale ( Anand kumar and srivastav 1985) and mental health inventory (Jagadish and Srivastva 1988). And the data were subjected to the statistical analysis. The results revealed that locus of control produces significant differences in mental health of students and there is a significant difference in mental health between the male and female sample.
