The use of short messaging service to access customers through their handheld devices is now popular and making the mobile phone as an ultimate tool for one-to-one marketing. What seems important is the consumer attitude toward such marketing methods. Therefore, the main aim of this study is identifying attitude toward SMS advertising and derived behavioral intension among Iranian mobile users for the first time. A measurement scale was developed for measuring attitudes toward mobile advertising based on theory of planed behavior (TPB) and the results were evaluated by structural equation modeling method (SEM

It is argued that paternalistic leadership plays an important role in organizational citizenship behaviour and organization commitment. It is very important for employees to be motivated not only to increase in-role performance but also to engage in citizenship behaviours that are important to the wellbeing of the organization. Questionnaires are used in this research to survey the relationship between paternalistic leadership, organization commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Data was obtained from 350 individuals working in various SME’s of Pakistan .The results showed that paternalistic leadership has positive impact on increasing the commitment of the employees as well as improving citizenship behaviors in various SMEs of Pakistan.

A pioneer in many respects, the Walt Disney Company has led the way in the entertainment industry for decades. This paper begins by analyzing the origins of the Walt Disney Company, with a particular focus in Walt Disney’s creative vision that led to incredibly innovative developments in the entertainment industry. It also explores the gradual decline of creative risks taken by the company after Walt Disney’s death, which may have helped the company navigate through tough financial times but also made it lose its revolutionary role and influence as a creative pioneer. Leading into the present, the paper explores CEO Bob Iger’s techniques and leadership trajectory including international park expansion and numerous company acquisitions that have helped Disney regain its financial, influential and dominant footing in the entertainment space. Its primary hypothesis centres on t...

This study explores relationships among Corporate Image, Intangible Perceived Quality, Choosing, ... more This study explores relationships among Corporate Image, Intangible Perceived Quality, Choosing, Habit and Customer Loyalty and investigates the pivotal role these variables play in establishing and maintaining healthy base of loyal customers. Data were collected from Pakistani bank account holders and the empirical findings showed that corporate image plays the most important role in establishing and maintaining customer loyalty in the markets. Organizations always look forward to long lasting success. In order to be successful in the long run, they need to keep abreast with all of their stakeholders. Out of the stakeholders, customers are considered to be the most important one. Customer Loyalty is a psychological motive which today’s managers are considerate about. This study concludes that long-term success and sustainable reputation of an organization depends on customer loyalty.

In the recent years, natural polymers and their blends strove a considerable interest. This chapter is intended to provide a brief outline of work that covers the area of blends; major class of algal polymers, their extraction methods from algae, their blending techniques with natural polymers, as well as their properties are also emphasized. Several methods of blending are amalgamated for the enhancement of mechanical properties of the blends. Moreover, economical impact and future direction of these blends are also critically reviewed. This chapter concludes that the blends form one of the emergent areas in polymer science that gained attention for practice in numerous bids ranging from building industries to the automobile.

Study Design: Prospective observational study. Place and Duration of Study: Department of Nephrology, Pakistan Emirates Military Hospital Rawalpindi Pakistan; Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Rawalpindi, Pakistan, from May 2019 to Apr 2020. Methodology: A total of 753 patients underwent placement of non-tunneled double lumen catheter (457 femoral, 296 Internal Jugular). Patients with clinically suspected bloodstream infections had their catheters removed with tips being sent for culture along with 2 sets of peripheral blood cultures. Patients were labelled as having bloodstream infection if growth of organism was detected in catheter tip and at least one peripheral blood culture. Susceptibility testing was done for available antimicrobials. Results: One hundred and thirty six (18.06%) incidences or 5.48 bloodstre...

The advancement in technologies in power engineering and microelectronics requires the development of effective cooling systems. This evolution involves the utilization of fins of significantly variable geometries enclosed in cavities to increase the heat elimination from heat-generating mechanisms. Since fins are considered to play an effective role in the escalation of heat transmission, the current study is conducted to examine the transfer of heat in cavities embedding fins, as well as the effect of a range of several parameters upon the transmission of energy. The following research is supplemented with the interpretation of the thermo-physical aspects of a power-law liquid enclosed in a trapezoidal cavity embedding a...

The main contributors in pathogenesis of enterococci are the presence of various virulent factors and antibiotic resistance genes. We aimed to examine the prevalence, dissemination, antibiotic resistance and virulent factors associated with enterococci from bulk soil (BS). A total of 372 enterococci were isolated from 500 soil samples. PCR was used to identify the isolates up to species level and for carriage of 16 virulence genes including hospital associated marker (i.e. IS16). E. faecium (77%), E. faecalis (10%), E. hirae (4%) and E. casseliflavus (1%) were the major species isolated. The efaAfs was the most dominant gene (100%), followed by gelE (78.9%), sprE (76.3%) and esp (13%) in E. faecalis isolates. The E. faecium carried largely efaAfm (86.8%) and acm (50.3%) genes. Presence of entP (10%), entA (8.3%) and entB (6.9%) genes ...
