Se... more Tenaga kesehatan dituntut untuk terjun langsung dalam situasi apa pun, tak terkecuali pandemi. Sehingga tenaga kesehatan harus selalu siap dengan risiko yang ada seperti menerima beban kerja berlebih karena terus melonjaknya jumlah kasus serta stres kerja yang kemungkinan bisa muncul dalam berbagai situasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh beban kerja terhadap stres kerja pada tenaga kesehatan saat pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner penelitian dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 119 orang tenaga kesehatan. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dan teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling, sehingga karakteristik sampel yang digunakan adalah tenaga kesehatan yang menangani COVID-19 serta telah bekerja minimal 6bulan. Uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil sebesar 0.000 (p < 0.05) dan uji regresi sederhana penelitian ini juga diperoleh nilai R sebesar 0.792 dan R 2 sebesar 0.628. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini diterima, hal ini menyatakan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dan bersifat positif antara beban kerja terhadap stres kerja pada tenaga kesehatan saat pandemi COVID-19. Di dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa variabel beban kerja berpengaruh 62.8% terhadap timbulnya stres kerja, sedangkan 37.2% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kepuasan hubungan romantis pada wanita dewasa awal yang menjalin hubungan pacaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 78 responden yang sedang menjalin hubungan pacaran jarak jauh. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji dekriptif. Hasil uji dekriptif diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel kepuasan hubungan romantis memiliki kategori tinggi dan aspek cinta memiliki kategori sangat tinggi. Future orientation is a cognitive construct that explains the future orientation of individuals, ... more Future orientation is a cognitive construct that explains the future orientation of individuals, especially the younger generation, to anticipate general events. Because education is responsible for the foundation of a sustainable future in a society, government and society need to prepare their younger generation through formal education. But this is not the case with the Baduy indigenous people. Although the government provides formal education for every ethnic group in Indonesia, the Baduy community rejects it. The cultural values of the society do not provide space for formal education. Customs prohibit formal education, and customary leaders hand out severe punishment to members who violate the prohibition. Education provided by custom is not formal, but is education for life and work. With this education, the Baduy community can survive and at the same time maintain its cultural values. These cultural values can affect future orientation. However, due to population growth, the available land area for farming is limited. As a result of this situation, Baduy people have pushed themselves to make cultural contact with the outside world. The purpose of this study was to examine variables, namely education for life and work, cultural contact, and cultural values as predictors of the future orientation in Baduy's younger generation. This study involved 169 respondents from Baduy's younger generation aged 11-21 years. With a survey research approach, this study uses dual language questionnaires, namely: An Education for Life and Work Scale to measure education for life and work, a Cultural Contact Scale to measure cultural contact, a Cultural Value Scale to measure cultural values, and a Future Orientation Questionnaire to measure future orientation. Result show that three variables were found to have an influence on future orientation (F = 8.935, p <.001). It can be concluded that education for life and work, cultural contact, and cultural values influence the future orientation of Baduy's younger generation. The theoretical and practical implications of this finding are discussed.

Five seafarers who originally lived in Jakarta participated in this qualitative study. Data were gathered through interviews by mobile phone. Thematic content analysis identified themes and sub-themes, among others: stress related to work, stress related to family, stress related to worship, stressor related to catastrophe, how to cope the stress, and optimal sailing interval. Some implications for theoretical and practical consideration were discussed.

This research is purposed to examine between emotional maturity and couples-social adjustment on ... more This research is purposed to examine between emotional maturity and couples-social adjustment on commercial aircraft crew (pilots and flight attendants) with their partners. This research involved 90 respondents (45 couples) with ages ranging from 18 to 62 years old. We use a quantitative method with 100 participants and in this paper, we found 10 same couples working far apart from their partners. Data collection using emotional maturity scale and couples social adjustment scale. The results of the study showed that emotional maturity and couples social adjustment had a very significant positive relationship (Pearson correlation value was .319 with a significance value of .002 (p <.01)). Implications for working time arrangements for pilots and flight attendants are discussed.

This study intends to analyze the effectiveness of using WhatsApp in carrying out tasks. Three students were involved in a simple experiments, the task was to make an agreement on the list of important items brought. The data obtained are in the form of communication transactions that occur during discussions. This study found a low score in making decisions about the order of items that were important to be carried, and there was a discussion over the time limit. Another results show that there are conversations that are not balanced and not relevant to their purpose. One dominates the other two passive, there is a chat that is not in line with the direction of discussion.

To help prevent the sexual harassment of female passengers, some KRL carriages are designated specifically for women. This study examines differences in female KRL passengers’ anxiety about sexual harassment in mixed carriages and women-only carriages on the Bogor–Jakarta route (n = 100) and Bekasi – Jakarta route (n = 110), using the Anxiety About Sexual Harassment Scale (Leitenberg & McNeil, 1990; Dacey, 2000). Significant differences in anxiety about sexual harassment were found among women who rode in women-only versus mixed carriages on the Bogor–Jakarta route but not on the Bekasi–Jakarta route. However, in general, participants who rode women-only carriages had higher anxiety than those who rode mixed carriages.
