This study focused to explore the artificial insemination of livelihoods outcomes of dairy farmer... more This study focused to explore the artificial insemination of livelihoods outcomes of dairy farmers in Muheza district. The study was cross-sectional research design. The basic model of data analysis were Probit model and Propensity Score Matching (PSM) used in data analysis whereby the study used simple random sampling techniques to select a total of one hundred and sixteen (116) respondents and study was guided by the Livelihood framework approach. The study found that artificial insemination dairy farmers associated with increase livelihoods compared to nonartificial insemination dairy farmers. The study concludes that, artificial insemination dairy farmers associated with increase the number of meal intake per day and higher income compared to non-artificial insemination dairy farmers. The government should ensure practicing artificial insemination with the aim of producing good quality bulls for distribution to the rural areas in order to increase production and genetics improvement in dairy cattle as well as farmer's livelihoods.
