The study was based upon analysis of 12 relevant research papers published in peer-reviewed international tourism-hospitality journals during the period of 2004 - 2015. The selected papers were critically reviewed to update on ongoing researches in the area and to point out significant research gaps that indicated further research scopes. Tourism has always been there in India for ages but it being considered as a commercially profita... more Tourism has always been there in India for ages but it being considered as a commercially profitable industry in recent years. It has generated employment and entrepreneurship along with relieving the stress and monotony of daily life. Hill stations are an all time favourites of tourists. This paper aims to compare the preference of prospects and customers of different age groups for a holiday package of hill station in India. The data was collected by using convenience sampling method. The results reveal that there is no significant relationship between the tourists' age and their preferences of hill stations.

This study is descriptive in nature. It consists of primary survey of customers belonging to different individual income levels. The researcher has classified respondents on the basis of their individual income earned per annum into low, medium and high category. It investigates the influence of demographic factor income on shopping experiences of users of the major shopping websites of India. Customer Based Brand Equity (CBBE) has always played a pivoting role in maintaining the customer ... more Customer Based Brand Equity (CBBE) has always played a pivoting role in maintaining the customer relationship for a company. CBBE is configured in various ways using its determinants. This research aims at studying the causal effect of the determinants - brand association, brand personality and brand image on CBBE. The model developed is tested separately on gender basis from the sample collected. The results established that brand association is the strongest determinant of CBBE. The research also showed that the effect of brand personality on brand image was more for females than for males.

Agricultural fertilizers are essential to enhance proper growth and crop yield. Recently, farmers have been using chemical fertilizers for quicker and better yield. But these fertilizers endanger ecosystems, soil, plants, and human and animal lives. In contrast, naturally grown biofertilizers not only give a better yield, but are also harmless to humans. This paper aims to study the rejuvenation of biofertilizers for sustainable agriculture economic development (SAED) in comparison to chemical fertilizers. Field experiments were conducted with azolla, a biofertilizer, in the district of Balasore in Odisha. The results show that the yield, the number of tillers, plant height, profit to farmers, and the benefit to cost ratio of azolla were higher than chemical fertilizer, proving that rejuvenating biofertilizers would lead to better sustainable economic development for the farmers and their coun...

The present study aims to determine the effect of profession of mutual fund investors on selection of mutual funds. Design/methodology/approach The research involves the collection of data from 94 respondents belonging to different profession as classified by the researcher. The research was performed by purposive sampling method. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from the mutual fund investors. Findings The findings indicate that profession has an effect in choosing the period of mutual fund investment. While in selection of types of funds profession did not have an effect. Knowledge of mutual fund and parameters for selecting mutual fund had no relationship with the profession of the mutual fund investors. According to the Indian Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture, the global market for organically produced foods is 26billionandisestimatedtoincreaseto26 billion and is estimated to increase to 26billionandisestimatedtoincreaseto102 billion by 2020. The government of India budgeted Rs. 100 crore for the promotion of sustainable agriculture in the 10th Five Year Plan (2002-07). Proper marketing can lead to increased consumption of organic produce replacing non-organic ones leading to increased harmony with the environment. Branding organic produce can effectively differentiate them from non-organic produce. In this paper, the authors have examined the benefits of branding organic agriculture and assessed the future of organic brands based on customer perceptions of organic brands in India.
