Other biometrics i.e., fingerprints or iris recognition is not trustworthy in such situations whereas face recognition is considered as a fine compromise. This survey illustrates different face recognition practices that laid foundations on the issue of partial occlusion dilemma where faces are disguised to cheat the security system. Occlusion refers to facade of the face image which can be due to sunglasses, hair or wrapping of facial image by scarf or other accessories. Efforts on face recognition in controlled settings have been in the picture for past several years; however identification under uncontrolled conditions like illumination, expression and partial occlusion is quite a matter of concern. Based on literature a classification is made in this paper to solve the recognition of face in the presence of partial occlusion.

Facial Expression not only exposes the sensation or passion of any person but can also be used to judge his/her mental views and psychosomatic aspects. This paper is based on a complete survey of face recognition conducted under varying facial expressions. In order to analyze different techniques, motion-based, model-based and muscles-based approaches have been used in order to handle the facial expression and recognition catastrophe. The analysis has been completed by evaluating various existing algorithms while comparing their results in general. It also expands the scope for other researchers for answering the question of effectively dealing with such problems.

These classification methods are used for global and local facial features for person identification. Both local and global features play different roles for recognition and classification. There is a number of face recognition methods that have been proposed up till now and produce good results. But when small sample size and pose variation problems are taken into consideration, face recognition becomes more complex and does not produce good results. In this paper, 3S and pose variation problems are dealt with. Firstly, Linear Discriminate Analysis is considered to minimize the singularity problem that arises when small samples of individuals are available. In the next step, the proposed framework utilizes global and local facial features and constructs a combined subspace using enhanced LDA method that is discussed later in the sections.

The image which is captured from long distances carries a lot of noise and blur which causes edge discontinuity. Although some novel algorithms which are based on cellular neural network, fuzzy enhancement and binary morphology have shown accuracy in order to obtain refined edge but still the problem of edge discontinuity arises. Eliminating discontinuity of edge a hybrid technique is proposed based on pixel neighbors pattern analysis PNPA. In the technique Canny operator for initial edge detection, PNPA operation for edge enhancement are performed for remote sensing satellite image successively. The visual and subjective evaluation shows that the proposed PNPA operation can effectively eliminate the influence of edge discontinuity which occurred due to noise and blurr in original captured image, as comparing to existing edge segmenting processes.

The suggested model slices protection mechanism into two compatible parts to promote indigenous custom antivirus development. First part, rather static in nature, is unique custom antivirus software developed by individual organizations (users) that meets their specific needs. The other one, dynamic in nature, is the threat definition and research part contributed by global researchers' community in a standardized way to form a global public virus definition library. At the end a tentative sketch of such custom software for a strategic organization is also presented to model basic construct and essentials of an effective antivirus.

There are number of methods available for finding the convex hull but all of them are time consuming because they are based on comparing distances between the points and rotation of angles, whereas the proposed technique is based on binary tree which is efficient and more accurate than the existing algorithms as it decreases the computational cost and finds precise boundary of the object. Another main advantage of the proposed technique is the efficient memory usage because of binary tree structure.
