Investment, and companies' managers are interested in it for the purpose of ensuring the provision of Relevance information to investors, which encourages them to attract investment, as well as the interest of those who set standards and accounting policies for the purpose of understanding how the investor uses financial reports and improving the level of transparency and disclosure therein. To achieve the objective of the research, the analytical statistical approach was used through the use of the price model (Ohlson (1995), by applying the SPSS program to test its hypotheses, and the research reached, after analyzing the variables of the study and testing the hypotheses, to the most important conclusions: “There is a significant effect of the Relevance of the value ...

The ivestigation was done for the first time. Twelve basement rock samples were taken fromthree localities. The high resolution in situ gamma ray spectrometer system was used to examine the natural radioactivity levels. The mean weight values of the elemental and the activity concentration levels of 238U and 40K are 3.14 and 4.95 ppm with 39.7 and 1502 Bq/Kg in the migmatite gneisses, while the mean weight values and the activity concentration levels are 4.23 and 2.67 ppm with 52.5 and 809 Bq/Kg in the micaschist respectively. These results are conidered higher than the corresponding global average values proposed by United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation publications for normal radiation background areas, except the values for the 238U in the migmatite gneiss, approves the global average values. The study area requires further ...

In this study, equimolar amounts of 4-imidazolecarboxaldehyde and thiosemicarbazide were combined and the Schiff base 4-imidazolecarboxaldehyde thiosemicarbazone was prepared as a new bidentate complexing agent. The synthesized ligand was reacted with palladium (II) and platinum (II) ions yielding air-stable complexes. For characterization purpose, infrared spectra, mass spectra, electronic spectra, thermal analysis, proton nuclear magnetic resonance and 13-carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectra studies were carried out on the obtained complexes and ligand. The characterization data showed that the ligand acts as a bidentate coordinate to the metal ions through azomethine nitrogen and sulfur atoms. An in vitro antimicrobial investigation was also carried out for the free ligand and its metal complexes against four bacteria; Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-posit...

Medical researchers invest considerable time and effort to enhance accurate disease diagnosis. Diagnostic tests are important components in modern medical practice. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) is a commonly used statistical tool for describing the discriminatory accuracy and performance of a diagnostic test. A popular summary index of discriminatory accuracy is the area under ROC curve (AUC). First of all, I thank ALLAH for his Grace and Mercy showered upon me. I heartily express my profound gratitude to my supervisors, Professor Henry G. Mwambi and Dr Lori E. Dodd, for their invaluable learned guidance, advises, encouragement, understanding and continued support they have provided me throughout the duration of my studies which led to the compilation of this thesis. I will be always indebted to them for introducing me to this fascinating area of application in health research and creating my interest in Biostatistics. I lovingly thank my dear husband Ayoub, who supported me each step of the way and without his help and encouragement it simply never would have been possible to finish this work. I also would like to thank my lovely parents Hanan and Balla for their continuous support and best wishes. I am grateful for the facilities made available to me by the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), Pietermaritzburg. I am also grateful for the financial support that I have received from UKZN. My thanks extend to Professor

They are often diagnosed postoperatively on histopathology. This study aimed to examine the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management of mesenchymal gut tumors in a tertiary care center in a low-income country. We conducted a retrospective study of histopathol Patients and methods ogical reports of gut resection specimens (excluding nonspecic appendicitis) collected from patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal stromal tumors and neuroendocrine tumors treated at our facility from 2017 to 2021. We evaluated clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management. Of 38 Results gastrointestinal resection specimens, we found seven patients with gut mesenchymal tumors (two in the foregut, ve in the midgut). There were no hindgut mesenchymal tumor...
