This study is attempted to gain knowledge about consumer attitude towards organic food products. ... more This study is attempted to gain knowledge about consumer attitude towards organic food products. With sample of 136 respondents consist of lecturers from Universiti Teknologi MARA (Northern Zone), the data obtained from the survey were analyzed with reliability test, correlation and regression analysis. Result from this study indicated that academician do aware of what is happening to surroundings with regards to environmental problems or ecological concern. The findings indicated that health consciousness factor have more impact on customer purchase intention of organic food products rather than the environmental concern. Environmental concern was found to have less impact because academician perceive that although they have knowledge towards environmental and ecological factors that can contribute to sustainable environment, however their current consumption pattern will not change their

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has triggered many businesses to develop the right strategy... more Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has triggered many businesses to develop the right strategy for its implementation. In this article, the authors argued that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can also play a prominent role as large firms or multinational corporations (MNCs) when it comes to implementing CSR. Advantages of SMEs include flexible operations, fewer employees, less formal organizational structure and easiness of managers to adopt new ideas and able to adapt new business culture quickly. However, the implementation of CSR in SMEs for large firm and small firm is different in which the concept of CSR cannot be transferred directly to SMEs. The aim of this study is to investigate the CSR behaviors of the Malaysian SMEs which are being affected by the managers and owners intention toward the CSR activities. In this article, the authors proposed a CSR for SMEs model be build by using theory of planned behavior as the underpinning theory. Propositions related to the proposed model are also explored and discussed.

The inclusion of CSR highlights organization's role as a 'good' citizen in society and is the basis for any beneficial exchanges between the parties. Content analyses on CSR of 10 top ranked Malaysian companies supported this proposition.

The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between the students' motivation and a... more The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between the students' motivation and attitude and their English Language performance. The subjects were the part two students from three UiTM campuses in the Northern Region. The research tool used was in the form of a questionnaire. The mean scores analysis of the motivation and performance revealed that the students were more extrinsically than intrinsically motivated when learning English. However, the one-way ANOVA test showed that there is no significant difference. To test the students' attitudes and their performance, the Spearman Rho Rank-Order Correlation Coefficient was used and the analysis revealed a significant correlation between attitude and achievement. The one-way ANOVA also showed that there is a significant difference. The mean scores was used to find out whether there is any difference between the respondents of different gender and their attitude in learning English. The results showed the existence of significant difference.
