Unemployment in Java and Sumatra is still very high, in fact both of them are the two islands with the highest unemployment rate in Indonesia. Unemployment in Java and Sumatera in 2010-2016 shows a trend that tends to decline, ie in 2010 on the island of Sumatra unemployment rate of 6.63 percent and Java Island unemployment rate of 8.53 percent. By 2016 the unemployment rate decreases to 5.25 on the island of Sumatra and 5.92 on the island of Java. The occurrence of unemployment is influenced by many factors.
