However, thorough evaluations of the performance of the PMB based on the usefulness of entropy generation, thermal and exergy efficiency aspects are still lacking. In this work, the concept of a double-layer micro PMB with a 23 mm cylindrical shape burner was experimentally demonstrated. The PMB was constructed based on the utilization of premixed butane-air combustion which consists of an alumina and porcelain foam. The tests were designed to cover lean to rich combustion with equivalence ratios ranging from ϕ = 0.6 to ϕ = 1.2. It was found that the maximum thermal and exergy efficiency was obtained at ϕ = 1.2 while the lowest thermal and exergy efficiency was found at ϕ = 0.8. Furthermore, the findings also indicated that the total entropy generation, energy loss, and exergy destroyed yield the lowest values at ϕ = 1.0 with...

However, if the fields have many components, one should consider the Coupled Nonlinear Schrodinger equation (CNLSE). We considered the interactions of orthogonally polarized and equal-amplitude vector solitons with two polarization directions. Analytically, we analyzed the dynamics of the width and center of mass position of a soliton by the variational approximation method. Soliton may be reflected from each other or transmitted through or trapped. Initially, uncoupled solitons may form the coupled state if the kinetic energy of solitons less than the potential of attractive interaction between solitons ...

From the previous literatures, hundred and nine (109) factors affecting the quality management of construction project that using Industrialised Building System (IBS) were identified and. In this study, the method used for data collection is by distribution of questionnaire. Most significance factors affecting the quality in construction were identified which is proper production equipment and technology with highest value of RII = 0.684. This study has important contribution to help project players of construction industry to ensure and maintain the good quality in construction while using Industrialised Building System (IBS) in future construction.

Solar powered water treatment device is basically a floating water filter which operates in a self-sustainable way on calm water body such as lake. The objective of building a prototype solar powered water treatment device (SWAD) is to have an independent power supply without relying from the grid to run the water treatment process through filtration. The project undergoes preliminary design, CAD drawings with simulation, prototype fabrication and prototype testing. By utilizing CAD simulation, through analysis has been done to determine the suitable size and the type of material for the device structure. The criteria of the structure must be light weight, sturdy and not reactive to water. The structure needs to withstand the total weight of the prototype plus it can float at the water surface.

The objectives of the project is to design, develop and analyse the water sprinkler system. The water sprinkler head was designed in solid works. The created design is then optimised using ANSYS FLUENT which the outlet of the water sprinkler head varies. The velocity and pressure is observed from the simulation through ANSYS FLUENT. Based on the result found that 1mm diameter outlet has highest velocity 2.07 m/s and highest pressure 105.64 Pa. The fabricated prototype then tested with developed automated system in UNITEN. The result of the test shows that the sprinkler height of 0.6 m from the ground projects the water the furthest at 0.35 m.
