Focus of this research was regarding epenthesis in written words of students in Pasir luhur eleme... more Focus of this research was regarding epenthesis in written words of students in Pasir luhur elementary school, Bandung. the writer assumed to identify [1] the way of epenthesis that is written by students and [2] which grapheme that will be found frequently add the written words. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research methods in this study, which meant that participants were involved in case studies that produced narratives and descriptive explanations about settings or practices. The object of exploration that the writer analyzed in this study is the handwriting made by 10 representative students in one classroom. From the analysis, the writer found a way that made the result of written word became so identic. The results of the research showed that the students experienced epenthesis by added certain letter in the middle of word. The most frequently epenthesis happened is in consonant grapheme. this research can add to the literature for other researchers in the fiel...

The aims of this research is to define language disorder toward adult in a certain cause which refers to aphasia. To support this research, the writer used the theory of language disorder by Vasic (2006). The methodology that used by the writer is descriptive qualitative. The data of this research were analysed by using Vasic’s theory about language disorder. In the process to get the data, the writer chooses YouTube media as the source and the object of this research is a patient of aphasia namely Michelle, 17 years old. She got a Stroke that happened in February 27, 2011 from long boarding / snowboarding incident which made her experienced the difficulty to used language, she cannot speak clearly because of the disease. The objective of this research are to analyze and to describe the types of perseveration and types of error in perseveration of 10 dysgraphia elementary school students. This research uses descriptivequalitative method The data collection technique is from the worksheet that provided to students fill out. Research result discovered there were some perseveration types in dysgraphia found in elementary school students of Yayasan Pantara Jakarta. In this study, only one perseveration type is founded and the type was "Substitution". The discussion of perseverations part involves ten words. Some students use misspelled words when they confuse one or more characters with different characters. This study also found that it is important to note that most of students have no problem in writing the first letter of a word, the error usually occurs on the next consecutive letter. it can be concluded that there were dysgraphia occure in elementary school students.

Ekspresi Deixis menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam menafsirkan makna yang dimaksudkan pembicara, terutama dalam pidato, yang memiliki banyak ekspresi deixis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan tipe deiksis orang dalam pidato Malcolm Turnbull di gedung parlemen dan untuk mengetahui referensi orang deiksis dalam pidato Malcolm Turnbull. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling sebagai salah satu bagian dari metode kualitatif untuk memilih data yang dipilih dari naskah pidato yang berisi ekspresi deixis. Penulis menerapkan analisis Pragmatik dalam representasi visual data. Setelah menganalisis data, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa ada 283 ekspresi deiksis yang digunakan oleh Malcolm Turnbull dalam pidatonya. Dari total data, penulis mengeluarkan beberapa data pada bab temuan dan diskusi karena ada referensi yang sama dari setiap data. Dari pidatonya, Malcolm ingin menyampaikan prestas inya dengan pemerintahannya selama kepemimpinannya.

We can easily find the mix languages between Indonesian and English as the text description for some product. The aim of this study is to analyze writing error in Facebook: Jual Beli Daerah Rangkasbitung-Lebak Banten Group period October-December 2020. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research. The result shows that written errors were found in the writing of a post in the group, but this did not really affect the error in conveying the meaning of the word. The result after we analyze Facebook group that called Jual Beli Daerah Rangkasbitung-Lebak Banten Group period October-December 2020, they have some mistakes or errors on their post. The mistakes can happen because they didn't know how to pronounce that, and just write them based how they pronounce and didn't know or try to know the correct spelling in English language.

The purpose of the present study is to explore two main research questions; whether or not there ... more The purpose of the present study is to explore two main research questions; whether or not there is a difference in student adjustment in college according to socio-demographics characteristics, and to analyze the effects of self-esteem, self-identity, interaction anxiousness, and parent attachment on the adjustment of college students. The results were as follows: First, students' adjustments in college showed significant differences according to gender, cramming for repeating a college entrance exam, living with their parents, college major, family income, and religion. Second, the self-esteem, self-identity, interaction anxiousness, and parent attachment of college students impacted the related adjustment. Self-identity was the most important factor for predicting the adjustment in College. Therefore, this result suggests that the programs of self-identity Improvement are needed for the adjustment in college life.

The purpose of this study was to know the grammatical error of the students in part of speech and tense in recount text writing. The indicators are: (a) error in sentence pattern, (b) error in tense, (c) error in omission. From these indicators, the researcher would know the kinds of error that students made in their writings. To achieve this goal, this research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The population was class XI in SMK Negeri 17 West Jakarta. The samples were 10 students majoring in management. The researcher used total sampling to take the samples. The Instrument was writing test.

Sistem pembelajaran yang biasanya selalu dilaksanakan secara langsung/tatap muka beralih menjadi sistem pembelajaran secara daring. Pembelajaran daring tentu saja berbeda dengan dengan pebelajaran secara langsung sehingga minat belajar anak-anakpun cenderung menurun. Maka dari itu program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang berupa pelatihan bahasa Inggris ini dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan minat belajar serta kemampuan berbahasa Inggris anak. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kami menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan pendekatan observasi. Pengaruh pelatihan bahasa Inggris terhadap minat belajar dan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris pada anak-anak di Babakan Batawi sangat signifikan. The main purpose of this study is to acknowledge the error that is made by dyslexic students based on Border & Jarrico (1982) particularly on the spelling errormin writing process. The study was taken at Sekolah khusus Yayasan Pantara Jakarta, Indonesia. Writing tests were used in this study. The writing and spelling test was concluded by practicing some words which were taken from Lerner's theory especially about basic sight words which suitable for children in 3 rd grade of elementary school as the means of doing the tests. The findings found that sample has experienced the difficulty of Dyseidetic dyslexia and Dysphonetic-dyseidetic dyslexia.

In this analysis, the researcher uses a critical discourse analysis approach to get the desired answer. Critical discourse analysis is the presence of the context that is associated with the linguistic factor was not quite satisfactory for the process of discourse analysis. The influence of the critical paradigm presents breakthrough called Critical Discourse Analysis. In the analysis technique in this discourse, the researcher conducts research using the approach of Theo Van Luwen's theory.

It is a descriptive-qualititve research.Descriptive study in textual analysis is applied in this study to analyze the presupposition of the utterances produced by slogan in candy advertisements.The purpose of The study is to identify the type of presuppositions in candy advertisements and the phenomena that are appeared in the advertisement in presupposition as one part of pragmatics stud y . The result of the study showed that there are two types of Presupposition appeared from all of the data. The first type is Existential presupposition and the second type is Non- Factive Presupposition. The purpose of the study is to get more understanding about Substitution which is commonly experienced by several Dyslexic elementary school students between 8 to 10 years old who are studying in the 2 nd to 4 th grade of Sekolah Dasar Yayasan Pantara Jakarta, a very special school for those who experience Dyslexia , Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and other special needs, which is located in Jalan Tebet Raya Jakarta Pusat.
