Over time elderly experience the decline in various functions of organs, one of which is a decrea... more Over time elderly experience the decline in various functions of organs, one of which is a decrease in cognitive function. One of the exercises for the elderly to maintain brain fitness is brain vitalization exercise. This study aims to investigate the influence of brain vitalization exercise in increasing cognitive functions for the elderly. The design used was a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-test with control group design. this study selected the sample through purposive sampling with a total of 18 samples for each group. In the prior of the study, the samples were observed and the observation was retaken to the samples after the intervention. The analysis used was parametric using paired T-test and independent T-test in the intervention group, and parametric analysis using the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests in the control group. The results of the study comparing postintervention and post control showed that the average MMSE score after being given brain vitalization exercise no significant difference (p = 0.007). It can be concluded that there is no effect of brain vitalization exercise between the intervention and control groups in improving cognitive function for elderly in Lingkar Barat Public Health Center of Bengkulu city.

Flour albus is a normal condition but it will be dangerous if flour albums becomes ill smelling, color of fluid, itching, and in a large amount. The low level of the female teenagers knowledge about flour albus prevention will cause negative attitudes. Lecture plus discussion and assignment (CPDT) methods used to accompany respondents on health education. This method was expected to change the knowledge and attitude of persons in order to increase his health quality. The research used pre experimental with one group pre post test design. Population subject of this research is the female teenagers. Questioner filled before and after the researcher give lecture plus discussion and assignment (CPDT) method to 14 respondents who fulfil the inclusion criteria. Independent variable is health education with lecture plus discussion and assignment (CPDT) method. Dependent variable is female teenagers knowledge and attitude. Data was collected and then analyzed by using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with significant value p≤ 0.05. `This results showed that there was effect of lecture plus discussion and assignment (CPDT) method on the female teenagers knowledge and attitude about flour albus prevention. Based on that results we can concluded that the lecture plus discussion and assignment (CPDT) method can be able to increase knowledge (p=0,001) and attitude (p=0,002). Adequate and effective information through lecture plus discussion and assignment (CPDT) method can increase knowledge. It will influence the positive attitude and action at daily activity. Hopefully, this research impact on decresing number of flour albus incidens in female teenagers through an effective health education methods.

Purpose of this research to determined effect of slow stroke back massage on quality of post-sectio caesarea mother's sleep. This study used quasi experimental with pre-test and post-test with control group design. Samples were taken mother with sectio caesarea at RS. Bhayangkara Bengkulu with 2 groups of consecutive sampling technique and each group obtain 15 respondents. The analysis used independent sample t-test at α <5%. Physical changes cause a decrease in the body's ability to maintain balance. Impaired body balance increases the risk of falls and injury to the elderly. Regular exercise can reduce impaired body balance. A good sport for the elderly is gymnastics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gymnastic exercise on the level of balance of the body of the elderly in the Balai service and elderly elderly sponsors. This study uses a Pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design method. A sample of 26 people was obtained with non-probability sampling techniques and purposive sampling techniques. Incidence of paranoid schizophrenia in RSJKO Soeprapto Bengkulu in 2008 was (58.84%) and in 2009 was (68.44%) (Medical Record, RSJKO Soeprapto, 2010). Paranoid schizophrenic with hallucinations and panic can act led to the occurrence of suicide or homicide. (Suseno, 2001). Nursing actions appropriate to address a group hallucination is a therapeutic group activities (TAK) (Siahaan HB, 1999). The purpose of research is known influence of group activity therapy (TAK) stimulation perception to hallucinations in RSJKO Soeprapto Bengkulu in 2010.Design research is an experiment: pre and post test.
