This study examines the financial management practices in the educational system of Maharashtra, ... more This study examines the financial management practices in the educational system of Maharashtra, with a focus
on identifying the key challenges and opportunities for improving financial accountability and efficiency. Using
a mixed-methods approach that combines survey data from school administrators and government officials, as
well as interviews with key stakeholders, we analyze the current state of financial management in
Maharashtra's schools and universities. Our findings reveal that while there are some pockets of excellence in
financial management, overall, there are significant gaps in budget planning, expenditure monitoring, and
resource allocation. We also identify several factors that contribute to these challenges, including bureaucratic
hurdles, inadequate training and capacity building, and a lack of transparency and accountability. Finally, we
offer several recommendations for policymakers and educators to improve financial management in
Maharashtra's educational system, including strengthening internal controls, investing in technology and
infrastructure, and promoting a culture of financial transparency and accountability.

The region is experiencing economic growth, and more people are participating in the stock market, making it essential to understand the psychological consequences of market fluctuations. The research employed a mixed-method approach, using quantitative and qualitative analyses, with a sample size of 300 individuals to ensure a diverse demographic representation. The study's main findings show that a significant proportion of the population closely follows the stock market, with 60% having experienced market volatility. This exposure has led to various psychological impacts, including financial stress, anxiety, and changes in mental health, such as depression. The study also observed differences in life satisfaction and a divided sense of financial control among participants. Varying levels of risk tolerance influence individual responses to market fluctuations. The research highlights the need for improved financial literacy programs to comprehend market dynamics. It also advocates for counselling and psychological support systems for individuals affected by market-induced stress. The study recommends that robust risk assessment tools and community support initiatives could be critical in mitigating the psychological impact of market volatility. Policy interventions for market stabilisation and personalised financial advisory services are also recommended. By providing focused insights into the psychological effects of stock market volatility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, the study fills a critical research gap, contributing to global and local understanding of financial stress and mental health issues. The conclusion emphasises the significant impact of stock market volatility on the psychological well-being of individuals, influenced by various factors such as financial literacy and socioeconomic status. Future research avenues include longitudinal studies to determine the lasting effects of market volatility, cross-cultural comparisons, and exploring the impact of digital media on investor behaviour.

The canteen facility of university impacts the smooth development of teaching and scientific research. It concerns the immediate interests of students and the harmony and stability of universities and society. It drags the attention from all sides. The aim of the study is to understand satisfaction of students about canteen service quality of RTM Nagpur University. The researcher has collected data from the questionnaire survey and uses SPSS 22.0 software to execute descriptive statistical analysis and correlation Analysis to evaluate the student's satisfaction with the canteen. The research will encourage to canteen service provider to improve canteen facility based on findings.

Using financial performance metrics such as Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), net profit margin, and earnings per share (EPS), the analysis leveraged multiple regression to ascertain correlations. CSR initiatives data were extracted from company CSR reports and disclosures under the Companies Act, 2013. The results indicated a statistically significant relationship between the extent of CSR initiatives and financial outcomes. These findings contribute to our understanding of the potential interplay between CSR activities and financial performance, suggesting that strategic CSR initiatives can positively influence a firm's financial health. This insight can assist businesses in aligning their social responsibility objectives with their financial goals.

A robust proposal for raising FDI threshold to 49% in the Insurance sector from the existing limit of 26%, has been submitted to the cabinet for proper approval in the quickest possible period. Such an increment in the FDI ceiling in the insurance sector of India, will certainly be highly and greatly appreciated by domestic and foreign insurance companies, for the purpose of expanding and enriching their insurance and re-insurance businesses under diverse insurance categories. More information regarding the insurance sector of India, is separately offered in the following section in details. Here, it may be noted that, the existing limit of foreign direct investment in the insurance sector of India, which is just 26%, is permitted to be made through the Automatic Route with proper license from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) of India. Production, as measured by gross domestic product (GDP), employment, investment spending, capacity utilization, household incomes, business profits, and inflation all fall, while bankruptcies and the unemployment rate rise. Recessions generally occur when there is a widespread drop in spending, often following an adverse supply shock or the bursting of an economic bubble. Governments usually respond to recessions by adopting expansionary macroeconomic policies, such as increasing money supply, increasing government spending and decreasing taxation. This paper helps in better understanding of the concept of recession. It also helps us in knowing the impact of recession on selected Indian and foreign companies and suggests few recommendations to overcome recession.

After increasing the FDI cap in the Multi-brand Retail sector, Aviation sector, Power Trading, an... more After increasing the FDI cap in the Multi-brand Retail sector, Aviation sector, Power Trading, and Broadcasting sector, the Indian Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) is strongly expected to raise the FDI ceiling in the Insurance and Pension sectors and the Pharmaceutical sector of India. A robust proposal for raising FDI threshold to 49% in the Insurance sector from the existing limit of 26%, has been submitted to the cabinet for proper approval in the quickest possible period. Such an increment in the FDI ceiling in the insurance sector of India, will certainly be highly and greatly appreciated by domestic and foreign insurance companies, for the purpose of expanding and enriching their insurance and re-insurance businesses under diverse insurance categories. More information regarding the insurance sector of India, is separately offered in the following section in details. Here, it may be noted that, the existing limit of foreign direct investment in the insurance sector of India, which is just 26%, is permitted to be made through the Automatic Route with proper license from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) of India. It means that a foreign investor cannot acquire more that 26% stake in the private insurance companies anywhere in India. During recessions, many macroeconomic indicators vary in a similar way. Production, as measured by gross domestic product (GDP), employment, investment spending, capacity utilization, household incomes, business profits, and inflation all fall, while bankruptcies and the unemployment rate rise. Recessions generally occur when there is a widespread drop in spending, often following an adverse supply shock or the bursting of an economic bubble. Governments usually respond to recessions by adopting expansionary macroeconomic policies, such as increasing money supply, increasing government spending and decreasing taxation. This paper helps in better understanding of the concept of recession. It also helps us in knowing the impact of recession on selected Indian and foreign companies and suggests few recommendations to overcome recession.

This study examined the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives on the financ... more This study examined the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives on the financial performance of selected companies listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) from 2016-2022. Using financial performance metrics such as Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), net profit margin, and earnings per share (EPS), the analysis leveraged multiple regression to ascertain correlations. CSR initiatives data were extracted from company CSR reports and disclosures under the Companies Act, 2013. The results indicated a statistically significant relationship between the extent of CSR initiatives and financial outcomes. These findings contribute to our understanding of the potential interplay between CSR activities and financial performance, suggesting that strategic CSR initiatives can positively influence a firm's financial health.
