Employing a correlative methodology, the study aims to investigate the association between air pollution levels and the occurrence frequency of acid rain events. To accomplish this, extensive quantitative meteorological data gathered from weather stations situated in the Midwestern United States over a span of five years will be analyzed. The ultimate objective of this research paper is to underscore the significance of incorporating air particulate matter considerations in weather forecasting and prediction models, highlighting its potential implications for making atmospheric and weather assessments.

The UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization) states, “Every human be... more The UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization) states, “Every human being has a fundamental right to physical education and sport” (UNESCO 2015). This statement holds true in any modern society regardless of the economic conditions and demographics of a particular location. This right to sport, no matter the socioeconomic background, is well displayed by the National Building Museum exhibit titled “Hoops” by Bill Bamberger (Bamberger 2019). This photographic exhibit shows that sport can exist anywhere, even in the most improbable and unlikely of places. However, sport is not only universal but plays an active role in shaping individuals each day. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, United Nations (UN) Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women, says that this is especially true in female athletes where sports have the power to teach important values such as teamwork and resilience to women and girls (Mlambo-Ngcuka, 2019). Additionally, a research review published by the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health found the simple act of watching sports can easily impact the behavior of the viewer (Pilar et al., 2019). This study suggests sports media companies are highly influential due to their ability to control what is broadcasted. Simple decisions broadcasting companies make each day have everlasting implications on viewers’ perceptions of the outside world as many people rely on sports media to serve as their only connection to the rest of the world (Southwell, 2020). This makes it extremely easy for sports media to knowingly or unknowingly contribute to preexisting stereotypes and gender normalities.

However, we have often been limited by our hindsight here on Earth, or the limitations of human travel to further destinations. Having the ability to send humans to deep space would arguably set us millions of years ahead in our scientific understanding of various physical processes, including insight on some of the key mysteries that we still face. Perhaps a settlement further away from the Sun, Earth, and limiting optical resolution could provide us with greater ability to collect more meaningful data through our telescopes or other instruments. Moreover, one of the most significant abilities of such a settlement could be slightly easier access to sites of research within our own solar system that could be essential in the forthcoming years, such as Jupiter, Titan, the Kuiper Belt, and some Oort Cloud objects. Here we describe a unique option and set of ...

While the brain drain effect does present concern for richer more developed countries in terms of the native population’s job security and employment, it has a much more detrimental effect on poorer developing countries1 Once a high-skilled professional migrates out of their developing country after the time and money put in their training, they pay no taxes back to their home country and overall contribute no economic benefit.1 Furthermore, this can lead to shortages of manpower in certain professions due to the disproportionally large population of health professionals and engineers who emigrate, undermining a country’s ability to adopt new technologies and limits a developing nation’s growth potential. In 2010 there we...

The British Broadcasting Company (BBC) believes this can be attributed to the increased use of robots—specifically in the manufacturing industry. Since 2000, industrial robots have replaced 1.7 million manufacturing jobs worldwide, and of these 1.7 million jobs, 260,000 were lost in the United States (Robots’ 'to replace up to 20 million factory jobs' by 2030) displaying the massive contribution automation has had on America’s unemployment crisis. According to Workism Is Making Americans Miserable, blue-collar jobs produce tangible products such as coal steel rods, and houses (Thompson) allowing manufacturers to easily replace them with more economically efficient robots. When 1,896 experts were asked the following question, “Will networked, automated, artificial intelligence (AI) applications and robotic devices have displaced more jobs than the...
