Due to the defect of the Canny Edge Detection Algorithm like no efficiency on noise removal, some improvement on the Canny Edge Detection Algorithm was done by the researchers. On this paper, a new enhanced Canny Edge Detection Algorithm will be propose which replaces the Gaussian Filter with combination of Arithmetic Mean Filter, Harmonic Mean Filter and Geometric Mean Filter. The replace of Gaussian Filter with combination of Arithmetic Mean Filter, Harmonic Mean Filter and Geometric Mean Filter is to improve the performance of Canny Edge Detection Algorithm on noise removal. A comparison between Canny Edge Detection Algorithm proposed by this paper, Canny Edge Detection Algorithm proposed by (Ilkin, Tafralı, &Sahin, 2017) and traditional Canny Edge Detection Algorithm will be done. The comparison will done by using eight images with different type and size which corrupted by noise. The performance of three algorithms will be determined by using the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (henceforth, PSNR) value which uses as a quantitative measure. From the result, the Canny Edge Detection proposed by this paper will provide a better performance on noise removal and which will give a better impact on preserve the edges of the images corrupted by noise.

SVM algorithm used as a classification method has been widely used in research that raises the topic of classification. Through the formation of a hyperplane between 2 data classes, the SVM algorithm can be said to be a reliable method but does not require complicated computations. The DWT transformation is intended to provide clearer feature details from the MRI image, so that when the feature extraction algorithm is applied, it is expected that the extracted features will differ between benign tumor MRI images and malignant tumor MRI images. In 1 level DWT using high-low (HL) sub-band yield the highest specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy than using 3 levels using HL or low-high (LH) sub-band in LGG MRI image. Compared with another research, our proposed method is slightly better in terms of accuracy to classify the brain tumor image with achieved the accuracy of 98.6486%.

For example, Virtual Reality (VR) is one technology that helps the user to be focused on the learning content that they see. In getting people's attention to be alert and aware of the need and how to use a fire extinguisher, an application using VR technology has been developed. This application has given a basic exposure to fire safety and fire drill to the users. Through the usability testing investigation, the results on using VR fire extinguisher received more than 80%, indicating that the application manages to give awareness to users on the needs and steps to use a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Comments and recommendations from experts have been given more ideas in order to improve the application as well as upgrade its' quality in the future.

Using the OBE approach, student's level of understanding, skill and cognition is set to align with learning outcomes (LO) and program outcomes (PO). However, in preparing the assessment as such the final examination, lecturers may tend to forget making an alignment with the LO and PO. In current practice, most lecturers preparing the final examination document find that it was quite tedious and challenging making sets of questions to align with the LO and PO. Thus, they need to consider the suitability of marks given according to the level of difficulties of those questions. As a result, in each semester, lecturers need to provide documents of examination questions papers, the examination answer scheme and the table of specification test. All these documents were provided manually and some of them did not manage to prepare the required documents properly. Thus, a prototype of Examination and Quiz System (EQs) with Outcomes-Based-Education is proposed. The objectives of this research are two folds: (a) to propose an automated examination document that align with the LO and PO; (b) to generate an automated Table of Specification Test based on the automated examination document. The impact of the new approach giving an innovative perspective in education world, which time allocation for preparing final examination questions is reduced and the question set is aligned with LO and PO.

This paper proposes a novel approach based on 4x4 discrete orthogonal Tchebichef moment for fast and efficient image compression. The method incorporates a simplified mathematical framework technique using matrices as well as a block-wise reconstruction technique to eliminate possible occurrences of numerical instabilities at higher moment orders. Then the 4x4 Tchebichef Moment Transform and Discrete Cosine Transform have been compared. The results show that the 4x4 Tchebichef moment has significant advantages over the other technique in terms of its error reconstruction, average bit-length of Huffman codes and image quality. Moreover, Tchebichef moment provides a compact support to sub-block reconstruction for image compression. Tchebichef Moment Compression clearly performs potentially better for broader domains on real digital images and graphically generated images.
