This study examined the impact of the Transportation and Communications (TC) sector on Saudi Econ... more This study examined the impact of the Transportation and Communications (TC) sector on Saudi Economic Growth (EG) in the period from 1975 to 2021 using the ARDL method. The study employed that the average of EG during the study period was 9.2 meanwhile the contribution of the TC on EG reached 22.4% and 5.5% in the short and long-run respectively. The study showed existence equilibrium relationship between the TC sector and EG in the long-run Therefore the speed from short-run to the long-run estimated at about 88%. The value of the error correction factor was (-0.8822), which means it takes about a year and a month (1/0.8822).The study recommended that more efforts should be taken into a count to raise the efficiency of the transportation and communications sector to play a greater role in increasing economic growth.

In this work, we deal with a one-dimensional Cauchy problem in Timoshenko system with thermal eff... more In this work, we deal with a one-dimensional Cauchy problem in Timoshenko system with thermal effect and damping term. The heat conduction is given by the theory of Lord-Shulman. We prove that the dissipation induced by the coupling of the Timoshenko system with the heat conduction of Lord-Shulman's theory alone is strong enough to stabilize the system, but with slow decay rate. To show our result, we transform our system into a first order system and, applying the energy method in the Fourier space, we establish some pointwise estimates of the Fourier image of the solution. Using those pointwise estimates, we prove the decay estimates of the solution and show that those decay estimates are very slow.

The main aim of this paper is to find out the relationship between the household level of income ... more The main aim of this paper is to find out the relationship between the household level of income and the level of education for the household being lived in southern Darfur state (Sudan) since they were seriously affected by the war conflict and lost most of their income sources. One-way Analyses of Variance (ANOVA) have been used to asses this relation where the independent variable and dependent variables are categorical and continuous respectively. Data gathered from Household survey (HHS) is analyzed. The results indicate the existence of relationship between certain education groups and the level of income, mainly high level of education comparing with the low level.

The main objective behind this study is to find out the main factors that affects the efficiency ... more The main objective behind this study is to find out the main factors that affects the efficiency of household income in Darfur rejoin. The statistical technique of the binary logistic regression has been used to test if there is a significant effect of fife binary explanatory variables against the response variable (income efficiency); sample of size 136 household head is gathered from the relevant population. The outcomes of the study showed that; there is a significant effect of the level of household expenditure on the efficiency of income, beside the size of household also has significant effect on the response variable, the remaining explanatory variables showed no significant effects, those are (household head education level, size of household head own agricultural and numbers of students at school).
