The average δ13C and δ18O abundances were −6.00‰ and −8.30‰ in TSP, −6.05‰ and −8.22‰ in PM10, −6.07‰ and −8.33‰ in PM2.5, and −6.00‰ and −8.28‰ in PM1, respectively. Little differences were found for δ13C and δ18O abundances in four size fractions. The differences of δ13C between the averages of fugitive dust and bulk soil were smaller than 2‰ at five locations, which implied that the isotopic composition of bulk soil (surface soil) can be used as substitute of fugitive dust carbonate in dust source apportion study. The distribution of CO3–C, δ13C and δ18O in fugitive dust shows that only δ13C is a powerful tracer of source regions. A database about the δ13C distribution in soil carbonate in major source regions of Asian dust was summarized for source apportion study of atmospheric dust.

There are different kinds of process to know the value of PID parameters. Genetic Algorithm is applied to find out the best value of PID parameters. Simulation process has been done by using code in MATLAB to initiate PID controller. In this work it has been shown that how to get the suitable value of PID parameters to tune the PID controller. Researching on different kinds of paper to get information about the process, at which we get the best value of PID parameters. The operation of PID controller depends on the value of PID Parameters. A block diagram shown the methodology part at which explain the whole process of this work. Performance Analysis of the procedure that applied to find the value of PID parameters. The value, which getting by using Genetic Algorithm is applied in (1 st to 10 th) order to calculate the fitness function. Different kinds of calculation, figure, graph and table shown in this work. After calculating the fitness value, it is obtained that which value is suitable for tuning the PID controller. These value is the resulting value to tune the PID controller.

Therefore, crop genotypes with a tendency of drought tolerance and higher yield, immediately need to be identified to accelerate the breeding effort. In this study, a total of 110 rice genotypes were screened for drought tolerance using Polyethylene Glycol (PEG-6000) treatment at the seedling stage in the growth chamber and water withholding treatment at the vegetative stage in the field. Data were scored and analyzed with a standard evaluation system (SES) for drought tolerance. Among the 110 genotypes, 13 were identified as tolerant, and seven as moderately tolerant to drought stress. For drought control, BRRI Dhan-56 was used as check. The result of the drought tolerance degree (DTD) at the vegetative stage revealed the highest DTD value in Kalara (0.908). Further, screening with drought-linked SSR markers (RM105, RM219, RM328, and RM332) indicated that the RM322 marker identified 14 genotypes that have similar banding patterns with BRRI Dhan-56. The remaining three markers identified 20 genotypes that have similar banding patterns with check variety. The cluster analysis by UPGMA showed that the genotypes Gojja and Payjam (at control condition), as well as Ranashail and Mokbul (at stress condition) are more closely interconnected, but they are distantly related with Kolom, BRRI Dhan-56, and Varat payjam. These tolerant genotypes identified in this study could be used as parents in breeding programs to develop improved drought tolerant rice varieties.

The controlled opening and closing of the valves are essential for regulating the gas exchange and minimizing the water loss and eventually regulating the internal temperatures. Stomata are also a major site of pathogen/microbe entry and plant defense system. Maintaining proper stomatal density, distribution, and development are pivotal for plant survival. Arabidopsis is a model plant to study molecular basis including signaling pathways, transcription factors, and key components for the growth and development of specific organs as well as the whole plant. It has intensively been studied and found out the driver for the development and patterning of stomata. In this review, we have explained how the MAPK signaling cascade is controlled by TOO MANY MOUTHS (TMM) receptor-like protein and the Erecta (ER) receptor-like kinase family. We have also summarized how this MAPK cascade affects primary transcriptional regulators to finally activate the main three basic Helix-Loop-Helix (bHLH) principal transcription factors, which are required for the development and patterning of stomata. Moreover, regulatory activity and cellular connections of polar proteins and environmentally mediated ligand-receptor interactions in the stomatal developmental pathways have extensively been discussed in this review.

The experiment was laid down in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Plant height, number of filled grains per panicle, days to 50% flowering, thousand grain weight, grain width and grain yield showed relatively high genotypic co-efficient of variation (GCV) and phenotypic co-efficient of variation (PCV) estimates. The PCV were higher than GCV for all eight traits indicating that they all interacted with the environment to some extent. High heritability was obtained for grain width (88.54%), followed by days to 50% flowering (87.61%), thousand grain weight (81.96%), grain length (81.94%), days to matu...
