Anti-HbS antibody titers were assessed before and 4-6 weeks after each dose of vaccine by using ELISA method. Results: All children showed anamnestic antibody responses after receiving the first additional dose of vaccine. There was no significant differences between the mean concentration of antibody after the first, second and third doses of vaccine. Conclusion: Study results showed that those children who did not respond to booster does of the HB vaccine may not be real non-responder.HB vaccine at infancy induces long-time immunologic mem...

In Tunisia, the respective responsibility of five viruses (HAV, HDV, HBV, HCV and HEV) in the genesis of acute hepatitis in adults is only roughly indicated in the absence of suitable serological studies, given as important to plan appropriate preventive strategies. To approach the role of viral hepatitis in all adult with acute hepatitis, identify the current share of each virus A, B, C and E in the genesis of hepatitis and to study the epidemiological and evolution of these diseases. methods: We conducted a prospective study over two years including patients aged from 15 to 65 years old, with clinical and / or biological acute hepatitis. Data were collected through a standard questionnaire wich covered sociodemographic charactereristics and risk factors. Blood samples were collected and were tested for IgM anti-HAV, IgM anti-HEV, HBsAg, IgM anti-HBc, anti-HCV antibodies .When serological tests were ...

The esophageal involvement was rarely described (2% of cases). Diagnosis is histological and treatment controversial. From a new observation of granular cell tumor of the esophagus, we discuss clinical, endoscopic, histologic and therapeutic characteristics of this rare entity through a literature review. The Observation reported was of a 65-year-old man in whom and through exploration of dysphagia, we discovered a granular cell tumor of the third lower esophagus. In the absence of criteria of malignancy, the therapeutic approach was conservative with a simple endoscopic and echo endoscopic monitoring.
