A number of student misconceptions are recognized in geography classes. These misconceptions are ... more A number of student misconceptions are recognized in geography classes. These misconceptions are countering in their daily. In present paper discussed various misconceptions in geography and identified seasons related misconceptions in geography. A multiple-choice questionnaire with descriptive type question and focus group interview were conducted on 60 students of class IX student. Results reveals that many misconceptions related to seasons were identified. Implication of the study was also discussed.

In this pursuit, it is necessary to review the educational philosophy of great Indian philosophers. The paper presents the relevance of Sri Aurobindo's educational philosophy to NEP 2020. In this vein, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi informed to Indian people about Aurobindo's vision of national education on which NEP 2020 is founded during his monthly radio broadcast on Mann ki Baat , on 29th November 2020. From this perspective the present paper explored, examined, and explicated the Aurobindo's educational philosophy regarding NEP 2020 themes.

awareness of psychological well being in beginning teachers as well as in-service teachers for their optimal functioning in teaching. The psychological well being is
very important in teaching profession as it talks about realization human strengths and potentials which is necessary in innovations and creativity in any profession.
Psychological well being is significant aspect of well being as it focuses on purposeful goals and meaning of life which is an ultimate aim of teaching. This paper also
explains relationship between psychological well being and self determination theory which involves human motivation, very useful for effective teaching. In the end
author suggests to facilitate psychological well being of teachers in teacher education programs.
The purpose of this study was to examine the educational value orientation of student teachers of... more The purpose of this study was to examine the educational value orientation of student teachers of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Delhi. Educational Value orientations were measured with the Value Orientation Inventory (VOI), developed by Ennis (2014). In the present study, the VOI was adapted in the teaching-learning context. Participants (N= 457) were selected through accidental sampling from the population of DIET second year student teachers. The descriptive data analysis revealed that the participants gave highest priority to Ecological Integration (M=37.6, SD= 5.32) followed by social responsibility (M=36.8, SD=5.88), selfactualization (M=35.6, SD= 6.13), learning process (M= 33.8, SD= 5.64), social justice (M= 33.2, SD= 5.96) and disciplinary mastery (M= 33.1, SD= 5.64). Nonetheless, Social Justice and Disciplinary Mastery was placed a low priority. The implication for policymakers, teacher education programs and teachers are discussed.
