Through teaching practice, a novice teacher is assumed to have inculcated a supposedly viable pedagogic experience to transfer the core competency of the subject knowledge to students in real classroom situation. This study encompasses the challenges and issues that the novice teachers experience at post-training level of their B.Ed programme of studies. The investigations also enlighten the gaps that the trained teachers have shared with the researchers. The study highlights the extent to which the on-training components of teaching practice is reflected in the attitude of the trained teachers while implementing the set of learned skills in real classrooms. Education is always considered as the significant determinants for the development of any economy... more Education is always considered as the significant determinants for the development of any economy. School Enrolment shows that how much education is common within the children of the country. Taking the importance of enrolment, the current study examines the influence of variables like government spending and numbers of schools on the student school enrolment in Pakistan. Time series data has been collected on student enrolment, government spending and numbers of schools for the period from 2001 to 2010. Model is estimated through regression. The results of study show positive association of numbers of schools and government spending with student enrolment in Pakistan. At the end of study give some policy implications that government should increase expenditure in term of education for higher school enrolment rates in Pakistan and reopening of ghost schools all around the country so more and more children in urban and rural areas children access school education.

The variables used in this study are capital structure, financial leverage, firm size and corporate profitability. The data was collected from 50 companies for period of 7 years from website of Karachi stock exchange. The ordinary least square regression was used to observe relationships among the dependent and independent variables. This study finds positive correlation among financial leverage and corporate profitability, and firm size and corporate profitability. Capital structure revealed negative relationships with corporate profitability. The study further anticipated the addition of supplementary variables to recover the strength and descriptive power of the general model.

The purpose of this study is to identify the variable(s) that is/are base of audit expectation ga... more The purpose of this study is to identify the variable(s) that is/are base of audit expectation gap between auditors and users of financial statement which includes bankers (treasury fund managers) and investors (individual as well as corporate). The variables used are Audit reliability, Audit responsibility and Usefulness of audited financial statements. The data was collected through questionnaire which was distributed in sample size n=300 at random consisting of 100 subjects from each of three groups and n=259 questionnaire was received back. The questionnaire consists of two sections, first section collected demographic data and other section enclosed 16 semantic differential belief statements. The statistical technique "Independent sample t-test" was performed in order to recognize the variable(s) that is/are base of audit expectation gap. This study finds that the gap is existed between auditor and investor in two variables which are Reliability and Usefulness of audited financial statement. The reason behind this gap is lack of proper education and understanding regarding audit standards and audit practices so this gap will be reduce by giving adequate knowledge and awareness of audit to the users of financial statements.
