The goal of this study was to provide an explanation for how moral akidah teachers at private MTs... more The goal of this study was to provide an explanation for how moral akidah teachers at private MTs in Buol Regency were able to help pupils develop their character. The research method applied is qualitative research, the approach used is a psychological approach The informants of this research are the head of Madrasah, teacher of Akidah Akhlak, teacher of Al-Quran Hadith, and other general teachers. The data is collected through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. While testing the validity of the data is done by triangulation. The findings of this research indicated that although the Akidah Akhlak teachers at MTs Swasta Busak Buol Regency did an excellent job of developing their students' character, character development is still subpar and not at its best. This research aims to describe the implementation of madrasah-based quality improvement managemen... more This research aims to describe the implementation of madrasah-based quality improvement management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. This research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The data sources in this study were obtained through the headmaster, teachers, education personnel, and the local community around Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulumba. The data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and documentation. Processing techniques and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the madrasah-based quality management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulukumba was essentially applied through the involvement of various parties to perform activities in the Madrasah, but not yet walked in accordance with the expected. Through field study, it was found that some students who did PPL is not mastering the basic skill... more Through field study, it was found that some students who did PPL is not mastering the basic skill of teaching maximally. If the PPL students master the basic skill of teaching maximally, they will used as a refference to become the real educator, not only know the theory but also could be successfully apply it as practices. The aim of this research is to map the PPL students mastery of basic teaching. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative with study case as the strategy of the research. This research take place at MA Madani Alauddin Paopao, Gowa regency, Makassar city. Sources of this research are Students, tutor, and documents. Research instruments are observation checklist, students' guideline, and documentation checklist. As the result, researcher found that PPL students' teaching skill mastery is fairly good, namely opening skills lessons, skill to provide reinforcement, skills of teaching variations, skills to guide small group discussions, as well as small group and individual teaching skill. Component basic teaching skills that are not good, namely skills advanced questioning, explaining skills, and classroom management skills.

It aims at sharing valuable experiences and lesson learned on issues encountered by schools and its member in developing their schools. Applying the principle of reflective journal, this paper shows that working with schools and district government has helped us to broaden our knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge, and to improve our practice as teacher educators and facilitator in the field of school management and school development. It also explores how the Whole School Development approach is used in developing schools. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses phenomenological, pedagogical, and psychological approaches. The researcher took the location in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa Pattani South Thailand. The findings showed that the early history of Islamic education in Pattani Thailand began in 1961 in the government of Sarit Tanarat by proposing a modernization program for Islamic boarding schools which was transformed into a private Islamic education school. After that policy, the growth of Islamic boarding schools is increasing rapidly. One of them is the Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa.
