Although the large intestine is the major focus of autoimmunity, resulting in chronic diarrhea, that is actually a systemic disease, with numerous extraintestinal manifestations, such as articular involvement. The frequent association of a number of autoimmune diseases in the same patient has been described. However, the coexistence of ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis is rare. Extraintestinal manifestations (EIMs) of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are common in both ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease (CD). These manifestations can involve nearly any organ system—including the musculoskeletal, dermatologic, hepatopancreatobiliary, ocular, renal, and pulmonary systems—and can cause a significant challenge to physicians managing IBD patients. Prevalence of hepatitis B in pregnant woman worldwide is 2.5 to 1.5% whereas in India it is 2 to 7.7%.Methods: This is a retrospective study conducted at SAMC and PGI, Indore between January 2016 to December 2016. Hepatitis- B prevalence and outcome was assessed by doing routine screening of hepatitis B antigen in our indoor patients and finding out their maternal and fetal outcome.Results: Total 3567 deliveries were conducted during study period, out of them 39 were diagnosed as HbsAg positive pregnant patient; so, prevalence was found to be 1.09%. out of these, 84.6% were booked cases, mode of delivery was vaginal in 66.67% cases, preterm Delivery was in 10.26% of cases, meconium stained liquor was found in 5.13% cases, maternal mortality was nil, perinatal mortality was found in 2.56% cases and 5.13% cases were admitted in NICU.Conclusions: Screening of all pregnant women for HbsAg irrespective of risk factors will d...

Incoming UV-B radiation and heavy metals abundance in contaminated soils are significant environmental threat affecting metabolic functions of plants through generation of reactive oxygen species. Plants have evolved mechanisms to counteract these reactive radicals and to repair the damage caused by UV-B and heavy metals. This study describes the impact of supplemental UV-B (sUV-B) and nickel (Ni) singly and in combination on photosynthetic pigments, flavonoids, enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants, metabolites and lipid peroxidation of Pisum sativum L. Academic performance and achievement owe much to the parental contributions. College achievement is related with nature parent-adolescent relationship, parental attitude towards education, their expectation about achievement, interest and involvement in their adolescent's college performance. The present study conducted Lucknow city U.P. Random sample technique. Approximately a sample of 100 Adolescents was selected. Researcher used standardized scale (Psychological well-being scale) and self-structured questionnaire. These results indicate that there is negative correlation between educational status and psychological wellbeing. It means that when educational status increases psychological wellbeing decrease. As the r value is negative and p>0.05 thus the null hypothesis is accepted.

The issue of aging is experienced by the societies of the world. The present study was conducted to assess the influence of types of living on life satisfaction of elderly in Lucknow city. The present study is based on a sample of 120 people 60 local home residence and 60 old age homes drawn from Lucknow city. Sample consisted of adults living in homes with families it was planned to assess the relationship between life satisfaction and place of living of the old age people. Researcher used standardized scale (Satisfaction with life scale, Diener, E) and self-structured questionnaire. The results of the present study revealed that there is relationship between life satisfaction and place of living of the elderly.

Antibacterial activity was investigated against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella Enteritidis. The well diffusion method was used to assess the antibacterial effect of the pectin extract on microorganisms. The extract showed maximum activity against Staphylococcus aureus (19.6 mm). The total phenolic content and flavonoid content in the examined extract found to be 3883.6 mgGA/g and 903.03 mg QE/gm on a dry matter basis. Antioxidant activity is analyzed using in vitro Standard spectrophotometer methods. Pectin extract increases DPPH scavenging activity up to 75 µg/ml of concentration. The innovation in food packaging by the use of pectin-based edible coatings is reviewed in this paper. Millet production and consumption have been on the decline for some years. Finger millet samples were gathered from regional locations in Nashik and Kolhapur, Maharashtra. These were also taken as samples for chemical composition and proximate analysis. Standard analytical procedures were used to determine the results. The result of the chemical composition, Nashik (sample one) was found to be Ca mg (6.19), Mg (0.52), Fe (1.09), Zn (1.74± 0.96), Cu (0.10), P (8.90) These findings suggest that finger millet is a good source of calcium and phosphorus. These can be utilised as calcium supplement foods, and their composite flours can be used to preserve a variety of nutrient-dense recipes that can be employed as part of a supplement feeding regimen.

Antibacterial activity was investigated against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella Enteritidis. The well diffusion method was used to assess the antibacterial effect of the pectin extract on microorganisms. The extract showed maximum activity against Staphylococcus aureus (19.6 mm). The total phenolic content and flavonoid content in the examined extract found to be 3883.6 mgGA/g and 903.03 mg QE/gm on a dry matter basis. Antioxidant activity is analyzed using in vitro Standard spectrophotometer methods. Pectin extract increases DPPH scavenging activity up to 75 µg/ml of concentration. The innovation in food packaging by the use of pectin-based edible coatings is reviewed in this paper. Millet production and consumption have been on the decline for some years. Finger millet samples were gathered from regional locations in Nashik and Kolhapur, Maharashtra. These were also taken as samples for chemical composition and proximate analysis. Standard analytical procedures were used to determine the results. The result of the chemical composition, Nashik (sample one) was found to be Ca mg (6.19), Mg (0.52), Fe (1.09), Zn (1.74± 0.96), Cu (0.10), P (8.90) These findings suggest that finger millet is a good source of calcium and phosphorus. These can be utilised as calcium supplement foods, and their composite flours can be used to preserve a variety of nutrient-dense recipes that can be employed as part of a supplement feeding regimen.
